I've been waiting 2 weeks for ct results. Supposed to be read within 24-48 hrs. They said they needed my previous scan that was done at another imaging facility which was my preferred center, however, they no longer takes my insurance, so I had to go to Manatee diagnostic. I gave them the name of that center as well as sending the report from that center to my doctors office. And I am still waiting for results. This is totally unacceptable. read more

This review is for Manatee Diagnostics in Parrish. I have been going there for the past 3 years. I had a mammogram done and was notified by letter that the image was abnormal and to make another appointment. I immediately called to make an appointment and was told the earliest was one month and a half away. So for 45 days I had such high anxiety thinking that I had CANCER. I have never heard of this before waiting this long for a follow up. Usually if you have an abnormal screening they immediately set up another appointment. After waiting for about 40 days, I decided to go to Simon Med and they immediately took me in. Thank God my screening was normal. They couldn't believe that Manatee Diagnostics said that it was abnormal. I aged about 10 years bc of Manatee Diagnostics and the Radiologist's false reading. I will never go there again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

I am totally pleased with Manatee Diagnostic Center. The people at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. I went there for a routine mammogram and the tech was so nice and caring that the procedure went smoothly and efficiently. I will go there whenever I am in need of their services. read more

I'm not sure what's up with all the bad reviews! They say on their reminders+ answering machine+ personal call that you will need to go to the outpatient center... Moreover, they are very quick and kind everytime I've been there, which is often since I go for my ultrasounds. Additionally, the only "negative" thing I could possibly say is that the seating is bit stuffy. But, hey, it's not a restaurant. Ive always felt safe and comfortable with the staff and appreciate them answering questions I may have. read more

I did not read the reviews before I went to them. I would agree they are the worst. I waited over an hour and they said because they went over on another patient. I have called several times for them to do an "addendum" re-reading of my ultrasound, because the original reading of an abdominal ultrasound was so vague that there was nothing my doctor could discern from it. Previous ultrasounds at other facilities site the exact location and size of things they find. Nothing was noted like that. I would never use them again. Over a week later and still no report on the "addendum". Poor customer service, just told "I will look into it". No one called back, no one contacted me at all. I would give them a zero if I could. read more

I was pleased with the scheduling process. My Dr sent over an order for a CT scan and when I called a hour later they had me all ready to go. They have evening appointments too! I got an appt 2 days later for 6:45 on. For someone who works 8-5pm this was great! When I called a different CT place I was quoted $250 per my insurance, but this place only charged me $192.. They apologized profusely for running 15 minutes late, which when it comes to medical appointments really ain't anything. She let me know the results would be sent to my dr within 2 days. I stopped by 2 days later and picked up the results for my own records, took like 2 minutes. I would highly recommend! read more

HORRIBLE Communications! I have been attempting to get ANYONE to respond & to talk to a person when Calling in. Their phone IVS (Interactive Phone System) is worthless. No one responds to messages left. When you hold (waiting for someone to respond); I literally drove 2/3 from Orlando to Palmetto waiting (45mins) without any live person. I made 3 additional phone calls with similar results. Their recording says, "..perform thousands of procedures a year." Well if they did they do, they should have the ability to afford a call center staff. I can't wait to see what happens when I finally get my procedure. My first impression is HORRIBLE! read more

Called for an x-ray appointment this morning. The person on the phone had an appointment at 1:15 in the afternoon. I took my Doctor's script with me to the appointment and handed it to receptionist. I waited about 20 minutes, then asked if there was any paperwork to fill out, receptionist said she would give it to me in a bit. I finally got paperwork and filled it out and handed it in. In the meantime people that had come after me were called to get their test done. At 2:35pm I was called in to get my xray. I told the X-Ray tech I had been waiting since 1:15 for my appointment. She stated she talked to my Doctor's office, something about the script was wrong, that she had gotten a verbal ok to do the X-Ray. I feel someone in building should have let me know what the holdup was. I could have made another appointment when paperwork was straightened out. Terrible staff communication! read more

Believe the other reviews. Called yesterday, waited on hold for 10 minutes and elected to leave my information for a call back. Never received a call back so I tried again today. 20 minute hold before the call was picked up. Spoke to a manager to complain about the lack of response and unacceptable wait times. So many excuses....some calls take a long time, they have 3 locations that are scheduled from the number, they do many different types of testing, there are old people who need help scheduling, and while all of that is probably true, she fails to admit the actual problem...they don't have enough staff taking calls. Told her to take a look at Yelp because its evident that there is a pattern here that needs to be addressed and then she went into the rabbit hole...some people come in to the practice with "ill intent" (really???) and some people aren't feeling good when they come in (yeah so what?!?!). So sure, it's everyone else's fault, the cranky, sick, malintents are trying to give you a bad reputation. Guess what hon, you don't need any help. Good at deflection, not so good at recognizing the actual deficiency. She was "caught off guard" by my complaint. Shocker. read more

Mrs. Nibbler has been going here for years and I've done her scheduling. They've always done a great job with scheduling and getting results back. This week, I had my first visit, scheduled by Brenda. Everything went as smooth as could be, right on time, no delays. Edrina checked me in and Stephanie took my x-rays. A friendly efficient staff who did a great job. Sorry to read about other people's poor experiences but they've certainly done a great job for us since 2017. read more

I came here with a referral for an appointment for my grandmother that is in chronic condition for a sign off for surgery. The first appointment I came Brian Schmidt completely walked out and refused to see me because I was "late" yet I was not late, I had to wait 45 minutes and STILL was not seen. Today I had an appointment At 2:10 again, I came in at 2:05 which is the time they checked me in and when I asked to see when I was checked in, the front desk lady showed me the nurse checked me in at 2:20 and Brian Schmidt yet again left and refused to see me. The nurse checked me in at 2:20 purposely because they remembered me from the first time and remembered the situation that they argued against me for. I have received the WORST treatment from this place. MCR health is one of the worst companies. My grandmother is slowly dying because they refuse to make time to see their Patient for a simple sign off for surgery. They do not care about their patients they simply care of getting a paycheck and clocking out. Shame on them. read more

I had to give 1 star because they don't have the option for 0 stars here. First time in the location by Manatee Memorial hospital, they scheduled my mother's mammogram for 2:30pm and when we got there they said it was scheduled for 3:30 instead. I had a voicemail from the day before, confirming the 2:30pm time. Second time (today) I decided to come to the Parish location, hoping that they would be more organized. Well, my mother's appointment was at 2:00pm and it's 4:45pm and my mother is still waiting in their inside waiting room since 2:45. Management should be ashamed of the way they over work their employees with more patients that they can really handle. Patients shouldn't have to wait 2+ hours to get a sonomamogram. I should have known better. I had a bad experience with a mammogram a few years ago, but decided to try again and go there for a hand x-ray. I still hadn't been seen an HOUR after my scheduled appointment. I STILL do not have the results 2 days later!! I am waiting to go back to work! I told them this. They told me they were having issues with their computers... really?? NEVER AGAIN. PS The mammogram issue was BAD. I was prepped and in the 'vice-grip' when the tech said "take a deep breath terry" I asked "who' terry? my name is cora!" So I had an ultrasound scheduled for 10am and it's now 10:40! This wouldn't be a big deal if I didn't have to use the bathroom but I can't. You are supped to drink 28oz of water and hold it. So I sit here waiting patiently. There is a young man in here waiting for a blood test and his appointment was 9:30!!!! What a disappointment this place has turned out to be. read more

The frontline staff are decent. The wait was extremely long even when I was the only one in the waiting room. It seemed as if insurance authorization was more important than anything else (I obtained it on their behalf). What is quite disconcerting to me is the inaccuracy of the radiological interpretation. Were the scans of another patient transcribed to my record? I am now paying additional out of pocket costs to obtain another scan that will support current diagnoses that were provided both by my PCP and a specialist in order to obtain necessary care. I have lost a sense of trust in their abilities. read more

Second experience with this facility and radiology team. Second time the report was incorrect/inaccurate. I wish i could say it was something simple like a hand fracture but we are dealing with an aortic aneurysm that has been misread 2 times now. Thank goodness for cardiologist and surgeons having their own on staff radiology team that can review and give accurate results. We will NEVER use this provider again. I cannot begin to express the frustration and emotions that a misread CT can give you. read more
