He was doing this as he was taping up the doors and windows due to the dangerous smoke levels. I really don't know what more anyone could ask for. They have my unconditional loyalty. I did everything to provide him with his needs to install the fireplace like producing a Pettibone crane to reach to the top of the chimney etc. With a lot of bad whining attitude he did install the fireplace and left. But the worse of it came when I turned on the fireplace next fall and realized that it did NOT heat up the area that it was supposed to warm up as it was promised by the manufacturer both in videos and the owners manual. I have called Steve more than 5 times and he will not answer his phone. One time, an employee felt bad and gave me the number of a local fireplace tech and his phone always goes to VM and states that the meassage bank is full and it cannot take any more messages. Regency will not deal directly with customers and I am stuck with a fireplace that won't work to its optimum level and have a dealer who rudely ignores the customer. Save yourself! Do not buy from this guy. I do not know how he is with his hardware store but in Fireplace business he is an absolute failure.
