I wanted to send my friend birthday peonies, I called all around Mammoth Lakes and no one had any. Patricia at Red Lily offered to source peonies for me and work within my friend's style and delivery time. My friend loved the peonies and I'm so appreciative that Patricia made her day so special! read more

Patricia is amazing! The flowers she made were better than I could even imagine! Truly a dream! Everyone at our wedding was complimenting the flowers and noticed them. Not only are the florals breathtaking but Patricia is very helpful and responsive. I wanted to change something last minute and she accommodated my requests and helped me figure it out! The whole process from start to finish was stress free and enjoyable! I would highly recommend Patricia and red Lilly flower design to anyone read more

Patricia was so great to work with, and she put together some of the most stunning floral displays that I have seen! She also worked seamlessly with our venue and coordinator to make our vision come to life. We came in from another state and had booked the venue sight unseen... and Patricia was so instrumental in helping us figure out what would work best for our event. She also put together a beautiful floral dog collar, and at the last minute helped decorate a utility cart that was used to bring our injured dog (ring bearer) down the aisle... it was just so sweet and adorable! She even brought us flowers at our hotel room the day after the wedding. I cannot recommend her enough! read more

DO NOT HIRE THIS VENDOR FOR YOUR WEDDING. Patricia at Red Lily overbooks herself. She will not give you the attention you deserve on one of the most important details of your wedding. She is the most awful person to deal with leading up to your wedding. I could not get in contact with her hardly at all, so little to the point where I had no idea what flowers I was getting until I saw them setup in the venue spaces. I tried texting, calling, and emailing multiple times on each platform and did not get a response. She also hasn't updated her website to display her current email address. She clearly can't handle running a business. She overcharged us - even after I gave her final details on our event order which resulted in the wrong flowers being assembled. THE BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY AND HASSEL - except maybe for working with the wedding coordinators at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area. This whole town needs to get a clue. DO NOT EXPECT ANYTHING RESEMBLING CUSTOMER SERVICE.  Would recommend to an enemy - because Patricia is that terrible to interract with. read more

I was finding it difficult getting flowers for my mammoth elopement and our elopement planner, Sarah, got ahold of Patricia for me. Not only was Patricia easy to communicate with, her eye for floral design blew me away! It was the most beautiful bouquet I had ever seen! It was exactly what I wanted without knowing that this was what I wanted! A lot of fun pops of textures and colors that were unexpected at such a late hour. Not only was it gorgeous but it was prepared THE DAY BEFORE I needed it completely saving the day. Patricia from Red Lily Design made sure that on a day where you have a million things to worry about, having the perfect flowers was not one of them. read more

Patricia is wonderful! I am an executive assistant in Los Angeles, and my boss asked me to find someone who could deliver a bouquet of flowers, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries for his girlfriend's birthday weekend trip to Mammoth! Thank goodness I found Patricia, she does it ALL! She was great at communication, and my boss was VERY happy with everything! One day I will take a vacation to Mammoth and will definitely pop by the shop to say hello and thanks again to Patricia! :) read more

Our wedding this last weekend would never have been so beautiful without Patricia. The flowers she put together were the most beautiful flowers we've ever seen! She is insanely talented, kind and easy to work with. I gave her a couple of ideas and colors and had her run with it she blew our minds! If I could carry my wedding bouquet around with me everywhere I go I would. Everything from the table centerpieces to the boutineers to the ceremony setup was perfect. Not only that, we had to ship my bouquet to a preservation company on Monday when we would be traveling. Patricia selflessly kept my bouquet in her store after the wedding for two days, took care of the flowers to ensure they survived, and shipped our box out on Monday. Thank you, Patricia! You're the only florist anyone should go to in Mammoth. For those comments complaining about response time - Patricia had 28 weddings in the month of August alone this year. Of course she can't be at your beck and call. To think otherwise is absolutely ridiculous and self centered. There are very few florists in Mammoth and there are hundreds of weddings happening. It's not hard to realize patience is a virtue here. read more

Patricia from Red Lily is my hero. My best friend was in Mammoth for her 40th birthday and I couldn't find anyone to deliver in Mammoth because of Covid. Plus, I wanted to get a bouquet in all-white, since that's my friend's favorite floral "look." It didn't look good. Then, I found Patricia, and she really came through for me. She was able to order white flowers in time to create a gorgeous bouquet and get them to my friend on her birthday! She was super helpful and very creative. Thank you, Patricia! read more

We chose Red Lily Design for our 130 person wedding this year. Obviously, the 130 person wedding didn't go off exactly, but the 4 person elopement did! Having beautiful flowers at our small ceremony in the mountains made it feel & look more organized than it actually was. Patricia worked with us to find flowers that evoked the High Sierra wildflowers that we love to admire on backpacking trips. She made recommendations that helped guide our decision about what kind of bouquets to get for our original event and our...newly modified event. Price points were always up front and there were no surprises, only pretty flowers! All the nice photos are by Brandon at Minaret Photography BTW. Check him out, he was a lifesaver https://www.minaretphoto.com/ read more

I'm new to the area and I am always sceptical of flowershops. (A few experiences in the past). However, I was blown away by the level of professionalism and the quality of product at Red Lily Design. Many people are just "talented" and let that carry them through their careers. Patricia doesn't coast by on her skills alone, she worked tirelessly for me and communicated clearly and passionately in a way that other businesses should take note of! The best experience I have ever had with a florist. My wife only wishes we had found her sooner! read more

I used Red Lily for my wedding last month and all I can say is that Patricia is a true artist. I didn't give her very much direction to go off of other than a color family and she completely exceeded my expectations of what was possible. Her displays were very eye catching and weren't lost in the beauty of our venue but instead stood on their own to add to the ambiance. She was very easy to work with and made the process enjoyable. I recommend her services to any brides that want beautiful florals and a seamless planning process. read more

Red Lily Design is so masterful and the creations by Patricia, whom, it must be said is a sole proprieter! You would never know by the amount of magic she is able to create. She still delivers beautiful arrangements designed with each individual's requests. She is a true artist! She continues to deliver magnificent arrangements throughout COVID. Getting live flowers, here in the mountains is already a feat of its own, let alone in such dark times to find beauty at my literal doorstep, I have been so grateful. My husband has no idea what to do about flowers, I turned 40 in quarantine, I was so sad, and the flowers were so amazing they brightened my soul immediately! He just says "well, I just called Red Lily". read more

I'm a little surprised by the reviews here. We paid $4200 to Red Lily for my daughter's wedding in Mammoth. She charged $500 just for setup at ceremony site and reception site. Maybe 2 hours work. The flowers themselves were ok but when I opened the bag with the boutonnieres I was very underwhelmed. During our rehearsal a florist was setting up for another wedding and I was thrilled with their work, I assumed for what we just paid the results would be similar... not even close. When my daughter tried to pay her with a credit card she explained she'd have to jack the price even higher so I received a tearful phone call from my daughter the day before the wedding asking me to write a check. I'm glad I brought a checkbook but it blew the budget. To top it off the florist called the day after the wedding, which was wonderful except for Red Lily, and wanted even more than the $4200 already paid her! I hope this helps someone else looking for a florist for their Mammoth wedding. read more

Patricia was great! I just got married at Forest Chapel in Mammoth and reception at Parallax. Our sweetheart table with stunning! I loved every bit of it! I was very pleasantly surprised by all she did. Because our wedding was a destination wedding for us, there was limited communication and visualization of all we were getting but Patricia worked off my Pinterest page and nailed it. My flower crown was also perfect! Thank you! We loved everything! read more

I live out of the area and was searching for a place that delivers to Mammoth Lakes. I contacted this shop via email on Sunday afternoon regarding getting a bouquet sent over to the hospital the next day. She was great to work with and recipient of the gift stated, "the flowers look beautiful and smell wonderful!" Highly recommend Red Lily Design. Thank you so much Patricia! read more

When my husband and I first met Patricia to talk about what we wanted for our Mammoth wedding, we were excited. She seemed to know exactly what we wanted, and even put together a bouquet right in front of us while talking. The day of the wedding however, I wasn't as happy. My bouquet that I wanted to be white was more yellow. All of the flowers were beautiful, but not quite what I was expecting. The biggest problem we had was the miscommunication, so be sure to put in writing exactly what is expected. My husband I and wanted, and thought we paid, for her to take the flowers from the ceremony to the reception. We remember having a conversation about it. Unfortunately, my in-laws had to worry about trucking huge buckets of baby's breath to the reception. The big floral arrangement at the top of the alter stayed at Forest Chapel all night instead of being brought to The Mill. When my mother-in-law addressed the problems, she was told that WE were responsible for taking the flowers to and from. Was I supposed to climb up a latter in a wedding dress to transfer the expensive floral piece? Patricia agreed to refund $125, but that doesn't erase the fact that my in-laws spent a good portion of their evening dealing with flowers. My mother-in-law is still waiting for the refund. Patricia will do a great job at making your wedding beautiful, but be sure to get all of the expectations in writing prior to your big day. read more

Patricia, the owner of Red Lily Design, was the key to my perfect wedding in Mammoth! She's fantastic. Approachable, thoughtful, incredibly down-to-earth, realistic, flexible, and generous. (Really everything you want when planning a wedding) She can do anything you'd like with flowers and only carries the best, freshest flowers. Planning a destination wedding is difficult, but with her recommendations for local service providers and familiarity with working with the mountain, our wedding went off without a hitch. Since shipping to Mammoth can be prohibitively expensive, she even allowed me to purchase some of my materials in downtown LA, bring them up to her, and she was kind enough to store the boxes, take everything up the gondola, and do all the setup. That was definitely above and beyond what I could have hoped for. Here is my bouquet. I should start by saying that I planned my June Lake, California wedding... from the East Coast. I was referred to Red Lily, by a friend that lives in the area. Patricia was GREAT from the start. I didn't have a clue what I was doing.... when to order flowers, what kind of flowers I wanted, how many centerpieces I needed... etc. Patricia totally made me feel at ease... I never had to worry or stress because I knew she understood what my ideas were and was going to make it happen! We picked up our centerpieces the day before the wedding, as they could be stored at the venue... The day of the wedding, I was able to pick up my bouquet and I was in AWWW.... All I told Patricia, was that I wanted it to be round, no draping flowers, no fillers and wrapped in ribbon. Very descriptive right? I did send her a picture of my dress, as if that may help with design. She made it happen! My bouquet was bigger than my waist and exactly what I wanted!!!! I had the idea for my arch that included HUGE flower balls on each side, once I figured out the price of each side, it was out of our budget... However, Patricia was able to come up with the most beautiful flower pieces for the arch!!! Oh and we were able to move them in to decorate our cake table after the ceremony! We took a large amount of our flowers back to our suite and I decorated every room with flowers, which was a bonus because I got to enjoy them for the days following the wedding!!! I could never thank Patricia enough! She helped make my day STUNNING!!!! read more

Let me tell you...At first I did not know what to think about Patricia's work style-but oh boy did she get it right! Red Lily did not let me down. I was so happy on my wedding day with all the flower arrangements, and the peonies were my favorite, along with the succulents. Patricia did a great job and kuddos to her for being the only floral shop in Mammoth. It's not easy to maintain gorgeous flowers throughout the seasons there. Her pricing was very reasonable and saved a lot with the selection of baby's breathe for the braidsmaid's bouquets. Thank you Red Lily Design for listening, following through, and for your expertise! read more

Took the time to help me with an arrangement last minute. Was really helpfully and it looked great.

Patricia got all of our flowers WRONG. I put my trust in her and even sent her pictures of exactly I wanted and the flowers came out awful!! Mostly dying and slanted over and she put PINK in not just mine, but everyone's bouquet!! I HATE pink and you do not see pink in any of the pictures I chose. Pink also did not match any of the bridesmaid dresses so this was very upsetting to find out a few minutes before I walked down the aisle. She also made ME (the bride) pick up all of the bouquets through a blizzard and she was nowhere to be found!! Why couldn't she just drop off the flowers at our venue to make my life easier?! She also SUCKED at communicating and overcharged for everything. I do NOT recommend Red Lily. read more

Not only does my company, Doorstep Deliveries and Concierge work with Red Lily on many weddings and events, I used her for my own wedding. My flowers were SPECTACULAR! Patricia from Red Lily Design did the flowers for my wedding. They were beautiful and spectacular! My theme was sunflowers and complimentary white/ivory and yellow flowers. My bridesmaids dresses were a teal color and the sunflowers looked beautiful with them. I will attach a few photos but I don't have most of my wedding photos yet. The arch was beautifully decorated and it was a dream to be married underneath such a beautiful arch. The reception table center prices were also beautiful. If we ever need flowers again in June Lake or Mammoth, I know who we will come see. I highly recommend Patricia for wedding flowers. Thank you for making my special day more beautiful! read more

Patricia from Red Lily did our florals for our wedding, and she did a BEAUTIFUL job! With the pandemic, we have had many venue, schedule and other changes and she stuck by our side the whole time. When you walk into Red Lily, you know that whoever the owner/florist is, is a true artist. Then you meet Patricia. What I expected from Patricia for our wedding, I already knew it was going to be beautiful, but when I saw the floral arrangements for our ceremony and our reception, I was blown away. Patricia took it to another level, 10 fold. Patricia is not only a great artist, but she is so easy to work with and has a great attitude towards any design that you may have in mind for any event. All you need to do is walk in and say you want flowers for your event and she can do the rest. We trusted her and she delivered with something so unique and beautiful that it will always be remembered. I say that because she then helped us package, store in her fridge and ship the bouquet to get preserved. She went beyond what we asked and we cannot thank you enough Patricia for making our wedding custom to fit our personalities. This is the florist you need to choose for any event in Mammoth. Stop here. You don't need to look any further. read more

Patricia is amazing. I planned my wedding from LA and was a little stressed about booking a flower vendor a bit late in my planning. Patricia had more than several weddings on the day of my wedding and at first was not able to accommodate me. However when she heard I wasn't having any luck with the other vendors in the area she offered to fit me in much to my delight. I was MORE than happy with what she provided. The ceremony and reception decorations were amazing and the wedding bouquets were gorgeous. I gave her my color scheme and she was great at suggesting types of flowers, pricing, and ideas. She even bought some tall vases (which I had wanted for the reception) in Reno so that they could be used at the reception. She takes a lot of pride in her work and it definitely shows in her detail. Definitely what I wanted for my wedding. Highly recommend her! read more

Red Lily is above and beyond the most creative and artistic florist I've ever worked with. Patricia is a visionary with a strong eye and sense for what works and what doesn't. Her response time is absolutely appropriate and she has had an incredible work ethic. I'm sure people that work at a computer all day can respond to emails immediately, and expect something similar from others, but I know first hand, you have to be patient and she will deliver. Mammoth Lakes and the surrounding areas host roughly 400 weddings per year and there are very few vendors that have as much heart and talent as Patricia and Red Lily offer.
