Want gifts and souvenirs for all your snowboarding, snow loving, friends and family? They got everything you need! I was in need of some cute souvenirs for myself and friends, so asked where would the best spot in Mammoth be. The consensus was Mammoth Memories. Located in the Mammoth lakes shopping center and town mid point it was easy to find this spot. Staff here are very nice, they leave you alone to shop but when you need anything they are very helpful and friendly. I loved this store because they had everything I could want and need. Shirts, sweaters, stickers, patches, baby clothes, home goods like cups and mugs, hats and jerseys. This shop is unmatched and I appreciated that they carried both mammoth gear and also represented June lake. All of the clothing items were soft and well made. Yes, the shop is a little pricey. I do get those complaints but it's the #1 tourist shop in town and at least the clothing is quality and soft. Just be mindful it's $$$ - for example I bought one t-shirt, a baby onesie and a handful of stickers and quickly ended up at $80+. Yikes. But I liked everything I got and it's nice to have memories of your trip so I'd still recommend this shop as it had a good variety, plenty of sizes, and staff were nice.

It's located at The Village of course very touristy but they have some cool shops here. As you Enter they have so many items you can pick from. They have from sweaters, t-shirts, socks, shot glasses you name it they have it. The store is very organized and I appreciated the help form one of the staff there i wasn't able to find my size in the clearance section and the shirt was pretty cool so she went to go look in the inventory they had and was able to find me my shirt in my size. Usually some stores will tell you that's all we have and dismiss you but she took 10 minutes exactly and found my size. Excellent customer service! The prices can be a bit higher of course but the quality of the t-shirt I got was great and it's not your typical off brand t-shirts that's shrunk after one use. The quality is there. I also scored some socks and paid regular price for first pair and got the other pair for 1 penny (win win) love me a bargain. Excellent shop!

I personally loved how new and clean it is, it really reminds me of some European villages. A nice bonus is the outdoor sofas and chairs for resting. There's also a shuttle bus stop right on the road, making it easy for skiers and snowboarders to stop by after finishing the slopes. Parking is available across the street, with a smaller lot behind the village. Overall, it's a great addition to Mammoth town! Side note: It's Dog-friendly!

BEWARE OF SHRINKAGE FROM MOST OF THE T-SHIRTS IN THE SHOP…read more Seems like a very nice shop with a nice selection. The girls working there were nice (even when I returned my T-Shirt). I called the main office and Julie was awesome, so helpful. I'll definitely check the shop out again, you should as well. They are located right in the Village. Why only 3 stars? Because most (possibly all) of the T-Shirts are 100% Cotton and NOT pre-shrunk. So be careful when you buy and but a size larger becuase it will shrink alot. I wear a XXL the largest they carry so not able to buy larger. Unfortunately I had to return it. It was a tad snug XXL, 100% cotton and not pre-shrunk. The label recommends wash in cold water. I'm not doin a separate wash for a T-Shirt.I live in an apartment and I'm not going to do a separate cold water load for one T-Shirt or hand wash it along with the nicer shirts I do hand wash, heck it's a t-shirt. Anyway, I just looked at the tags in my large T-Shirt collection, many that are ages old and all are washed in hot water. I learned something I didn't know but glad I do know now. They are all either a cotton poly blend (but feel great, I didn't know they weren't all cotton) or 100% cotton but pre-shrunk. They will say they have those type of shirts but on the mens side I didn't see them. Personally, I will not buy a T that isn't a blend or pre-shrunk. I bet alot of their customers get home, throw it in the hot wash with there other T's and have a shrunken shirt. So...why sell an expensive T that for sure will shrink unless washed separately with extra care6 State of the Art is cotton poly blend or pre-shrunk. If the majority of your inventory was like that I'd give 4 stars.

Walked into this store after visiting the mammoth…read moresports store and was very happy to find very reasonably priced jackets, sweaters,beanies, etc. The manager I believe it was helped me find everything I needed as well as made a suggestion for a different style jacket.( love that they're honest). Long story short this store is great, the people working it genuinely care about the customers satisfaction in buying their product.
