    Cornice Chardonnay and wheat beer
    Jill S.

We had a Cornice Chardonnay and my husband had a kolsh. It was so nice sitting outside and used the QR menu ordered pretzel. The pretzel was delicious as well as the drinks! Highly recommend

Although I regret trying the beer myself, those in my party seemed to enjoy it. We came as a large party so we waited well over an hr and 1/2 for a table that we frankly made ourselves in the bar. We never made it to the main dining area. For a Tuesday night at 6pm in mid Jan, we were surprised by how busy the restaurant was. We ordered a variety of items (not all pictured) and everyone seemed to like their meal. The cheesesteak sandwich was delicious and the fish had a nice outside crunch with the flaky inside. The sweet potato tater tots were also good. My fellow diners, (even the one who ordered the double), commented on how much they enjoyed the burger. If you wanted to take some Mammoth Brew home with you, the restaurant also features a store with clothing and beer but apparently they ran out of root beer which was disappointing as it was one of the reasons we visited. As it was cold outside we appreciated the waiting area/bar in the basement where they had a few extra tables, a shuffleboard and a pool table to help past the time. Although it was small and limited in seating on this unusually busy night, we found a spot to seat ourselves without much help from the staff.

I would rate the ambiance a 5, the food a 4, and the service a 3. The employees themselves were nice, but you wait an hour for a table to not have a server. Also, my friend and i ordered at the same table but separately 2 minutes apart and our flatbreads came 15 minutes apart. Came here 2 nights. The first night we made the mistake of ordering appetizers and entres together and it all came at once. The food was solid, and so was the beer, the pretzels with the cheese were my favorite. The lawn area is nice but you can't order from there.

Damn Good Veggie Burger is the menu item name and it sure is!

We walked into the restaurant for a party of 9 While waiting we ordered a beer and appetizers at the bar. The onion rings, sweet potato tots and pretzels were amazing. Once our table was ready upstairs we had to scan the QR code to order and pay. The good part is if you come with different families each family can order and pay for their own food. The bad is it eliminates hosts. Food was quick to arrive by friendly servers. The veggie burger was one of the best I've had. Great atmosphere with scenic views.

This was a nice brewery to go to while in Mammoth Lake area. My husband and I took a last minute day road trip to Mammoth Lake. I know, really random but we saw this reel about Juniper Loop. We checked it out and it was quick then ended up at Mammoth Lake for a few nice trails. Afterwards, we were a little hungry. The service was quick. We walked in and sat right away. We ordered from this code and ordered drinks at the bar. My husband ordered the food through the code. We shared the queso dip and their bánh mi (Vietnamese sandwich). Prior, we had some meat pies in Juniper Lake which was delicious. The drinks at the bar - my husband got a flight of beer. Worth the price versus a glass of beer in our opinion. I got a root beer float. The ice cream was packaged. Different but still a good float. Overall, a good brewery and the outside seating seemed nice from a far. We sat inside.

Love Mammoth Brewing! Love their beers, love their restaurant location in Mammoth Lakes, and their food is next level! I've been a craft beer nut for many years, and Mammoth's offerings are incredible. I've been curating a "Top 10" list for years, and Mammoth's 395 IPA is always at the top. Haven't found another even close! Wild hops and juniper berries??? Who would've thought? The restaurant definitely embraces the ski lodge feel, with bare timber, exposed beams, and rustic woodwork. But of course, all are welcome. They have a great gift shop, with many of their beers available in 4-packs, and will even fill growlers or crowlers for you on the spot. Excellent for camping trips. PRO TIP: Try their root beer! They make it themselves, and it is incredible. Unfortunately they don't can it, but they will fill your growler/crowler. Try Mammoth Brewing! The food is great, the beers are epic, and you'll be coming back.

YUMMMMM! First off, love a spot that has ample parking. Especially for being right by The Village, this is super convenient. They have two stories. We were a little hesitant because we showed up to get a good drink + bite while watching the game and saw NO TVs when we entered. But rest assured, multiple TVs upstairs :) amazing you can order drinks and food at your table using a QR code or you can walk up to the bar and order your beverage (they have one upstairs and another on the ground floor). We noticed staff constantly walking around to keep things tidy and ensure the customers are enjoying their visit. Items ordered: Double nut brown - my bf ordered this and I had a taste. Soooo good!!! It has notes of chocolate and coffee but wasn't sweet or overpowering at all! Smooth. Succulent sipper - easy go down seltzer. Doesn't even taste like alcohol. Similar to cactus cooler. And only six bucks! Damn good burger (with added egg and side of waffle fries) - cooked perfectly, generous portion considering he didn't get a double patty. Plenty of fries for the side. Brioche bun for the win. Really makes a difference! Pickles on the side. Nashville hot tenders - again, portion was very generous! As I kept eating, there were more and more buried underneath lol. Not as spicy as I imagined but still enjoyable. You can ask for the Nashville rub on the side. It's good to add on the fries or onion rings for extra seasoning! Onion rings - the batter was so crispy but light and onions were not cut too thin or thick. They really perfected this. Definitely shareable but I ate half with my tenders and took the rest back home. It's served with various sauces and they're all so good!! We love variety. Overall, a chill and reliable spot. We came at night but during the day you'd have a killer view of the mountains in the background. Outdoor seating is available but I didn't notice any heaters so be prepared!

The food was good, but I've had better. I ordered the Damn Good Burger, but it honestly wasn't that goodThe burger was very salty and not juicy enough, and it was also strange to find a piece of macaroni in my burger. On the positive side, the greens were juicy and fresh. The fries were alright -- not overly salty or oily -- and the sauce was good. The service was okay, and the ambiance was nice.

A very unique experience. First of all, if you sit outside, you place your order online through your phone -- very modern, and honestly I think it's a smart way to lighten the load for the staff. That said, the prices feel a bit high for a place where you seat yourself, place your own order without staff interaction, and pay upfront (I'll never understand how I'm supposed to leave a tip for service that hasn't even been provided yet). As for the food: the pizza was on the small side -- definitely not enough to fill up a hungry guy on its own. But to be fair, it was delicious, no doubt about that. Now, the beer? Absolutely amazing -- truly some of the best I've had in the state. That alone makes this spot worth checking out. I'd recommend this place for the great outdoor vibe, excellent beer, and tasty pizza. Just keep in mind it's more of a place for a light bite rather than a full meal.

I've passed by this place plenty of times and finally stopped by. Glad I did. The beer was solid and the food was hella good too. The burger feels like the go-to order here, especially after a day of snowboarding. It does get busy, but the space is large and they seat people fairly quickly. Overall, a dependable spot that I'd come back to. Service: Efficient even when it's busy Food/Drinks: Solid beers, burger is the safe bet Ambiance: Big brewery space with a lively crowd, but probably cause there was a game going on 8/10 A reliable brewery with good food and beer

Mammoth Brew Co has a limited menu for gluten free but they do have a cheat sheet behind the bar with GF options and note what works for an allergy rather than preference. I had the burger with the GF bun, and when you ask for GF they also remove the bacon beer jam. I asked about cross contamination when grilling the bun and the server said he'd make a note on the order. I was a little nervous but felt fine after so I think they did a good job. It was quite a delicious burger!

I came here during Mammoth Trailfest absolutely starving after a full day on the mountain, and let me tell you... this place DELIVERED. The first thing I ordered was the large pretzel and I'm not exaggerating when I say I devoured it. Perfectly warm, salty, chewy, with that golden exterior that snaps just slightly before giving way to soft doughy goodness. And the mustard? Tangy, bold, exactly what you want after hours of running around Mammoth! Then came the burger which was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. What really won me over was the little extras: they gave me a side of pickles, plus extra sauces and ranch for my waffle fries. And these weren't just any waffle fries. They were perfectly seasoned, super crispy, basically the fries you picture when you think "ideal bar food." Beer selection was on point, too. Tons of options, super cold pours. Theres plenty of seating. It was raining the day we went but they have a full dining area downstairs and upstairs. When the sun is shining, there's patio seating and picnic tables.

A must stop at when visiting Mammoth Lakes! Loved the food and the large selection of beers. Incredible view of the snowy mountains in the distance and they have a cute backdrop for photos in the patio.

We typically like sitting at the bar but bar seats were full so we opted for a table rather than wait. There are both high top and low top seating available as well as bar seating against the windows and fermentation silos. There is also seating outdoors if weather permits. The tables use a bar code scanning system to order food and drinks, then a person will deliver the food. I'm okay with this but I can see why some people would be frustrated with this process. For the appetizer we ordered the POBLANO ARTICHOKE DIP - $16 Artichoke, Poblano Chile, Corn, Cheddar, Colby Jack, Parmesan, Garlic, Mayonnaise, Sour Cream, Cream Cheese. Warmed and served with Pita bread or chips. We elected for the tortilla chips. This is a tasty appetizer and the perfect size for two people. For drinks we ordered two different hot cocktails served almost like a hot tea. Mulling it over - $17 Glass Creek Vodka, Mulled Spice Juice, Lemon. This was quite good and had a little bit of sweetness. The second was The Hot Toddy. $17. American Single Malt Whiskey, Lemon, Honey, Ginger. This tasted a little stronger and no sweetness. Do I think the drinks are a little expensive , yes. But sadly that is what you come across in a ski village. Personally I was a little shocked at how many families with young children were at the distillery but I've noticed that in almost every bar or brewery in Mammoth. Another good but different experience at Shelter Distilling.

I highly recommend waiting in their waiting area or downstairs for your table as they will come to find to if something opens up quicker. Everything we ordered was tasty. We were very hesitant to try the Asian sticky ribs but it actually ended up being really good. I can't remember what the vegetable dish (4th pic) was called but it was also very good if you got a bite with everything in it. It had sweet potato, beet, candied walnuts and pomegranate seeds! We also ordered some drinks. The curry drink (forgot the name) was surprisingly good despite the odd list of ingredients that went in. Their local black cherry soda was also very nice. This was particularly true of the 25/26 season, and I found myself there in what was likely one of the last powder days of the season. I stayed in the Mammoth Creek Inn, a short walk away from Mammoth Bowl, but this is not the first time I've been there. Mammoth Rock Brasserie is somewhat hidden as it exists above a bowling alley, but it is undeniably one of the rare gems in Mammoth Lakes. I walked in at about 5:30pm without a reservation on a Saturday, and everything was great. I got seated quickly near the window with a great view, and was given the rundown of the specials of the day, which I'll be grading individually. - Hamachi Special "Hamachi Crudo" (5/5) - done to absolute perfection, the choice of sauces and a small amount of ginger and seaweed salad made for a perfect tasing experience. The sashimi is fresh of course, but what sauces you pair with it matters - and Brasserie did it perfectly - Seabass special "Loup de Mer au Beurre Blanc" (5/5) - done to perfection! The skin was perfectly crispy, and the fillet done amazingly well and combined with the Beurre Blanc made for an incredible pairing. The mashed potato side and asparagus was also great, although I wasn't really a fan of the root vegetables. There was also the complementary bread and salted butter which were a great way to start. The bread I believe comes from Shea Schat's bakery in the same town. Overall everything was amazing, and you're overlooking some of the best views of Mammoth Lake's mountain range. It's difficult to not recommend the experience, except maybe it being a somewhat pricey fine dining experience, but I think everyone should try it at least once!
