I bought 5 - 2 chocolate chip, a cannoli filled, chocolate with raspberry, some kind of crumb cake square. OMG!!! When I got home, my mom inhaled the cannoli! The chocolate with the raspberry is excellent! They are big and a bit heavy, so I eat just half at a time. They are moist, not greasy, not dry. I will have to go back! I think they have brownies? I got the chocolate chocolate chip and banana chip with marshmallow sauce. Honestly wasn't impressed. I was expecting it to be fabulous! The chocolate was good but the mini chips in it were like plastic chocolate. Really hard and didn't have much taste. The banana ice cream had chocolate shavings that were definitely a better quality of chocolate but the banana was harsh and very artificial tasting. I was sad that it didn't live up to the hype. The marshmallow sauce was good! Ok lesson learned on to the next ice cream place!

Our main goal is always to find a fabulous cannoli- they failed- but Capri did not. Capri had delicious cannolis! We would definitely return. We didn't give 5 starts because the bakery itself lacks a little quaintness and magic. It's a bit generic and bland and could use some refreshing and imagination.

And they have a few vegan options! Don't expect macarons nor tarts, but that blueberry croissant I had was so delicious. It was more of a whole grain pastry than a traditional buttery croissant but because the blueberry filling was so sweet, I was happy for a less decadent pastry. I love that they have a nice array of coffee and matcha drinks too. I'm pretty sure the word has been out for some time now, but when that Starbucks line in the parking lot is just too much, The French Workshop is a better option (however, on a rainy Saturday in May, that line inside was considerable. People know what's good!) There's plenty of seating, too and if you are good at pretending, you almost feel you're in Europe (ignore the suburban strip mall that surrounds you).

We sat at the bar and got a drink while we waited. The bartender was friendly and one of the owners, Joe greeted as soon as we walked in. He knew my boyfriend from high school. Soon enough, we were sat at a cool picnic style table which could probably fit 6-8 people! I forgot our server's name but she was very sweet! I got a watermelon margarita and the drinks were definitely generous to us! The atmosphere is really unique and interesting. Spacious, and not too loud. For those who read my reviews you know I'm a salsa girl! Chips & Salsa: Nice kick in the flavor, not too chunky, not too loose. Delicious!! They also had bottled sauces on the table. The Mango Habanero was a favorite of the two, they also had Green Habanero which was good as well! Appetizer: I was excited to try the Mexi Mac N' Cheese. The ghost pepper cheddar sauce was NIIIICEEE and the chorizo and peppers gave it an awesome flavor. Meals: I ordered the Birria Quesadilla which came in the best plate I've ever seen. I'm definitely a "dipper" so it was great to get a side of pico, guacamole and sour cream. The consommé was superb! The quesadilla itself wasn't overpowered by either meat or cheese. Really nice balance - which is key to an amazing quesadilla, like this one. My boyfriend got Kandi's Chimichanga and when I say it's huge I mean it's HUGE! I tried and liked it a lot. He ate as much as he could and was more than satisfied. The boom boom sauce was insane also. I loved the outside area. I can't wait to visit again and try the coconut shrimp appetizer and much more! I've got to be honest, I absolutely loved the food and desserts, but the service was just okay. I'd like to think it was only because they were very busy, but our waitress didn't check on us a single time, even though she consistently checked on the tables right next to us ‍. I had to go out of my way to catch her attention just to get the extra sauce I needed, and I eventually had to ask a completely different staff member to get sprinkles for our dessert.
