Sensing I was having a crisis , the owner Pedro asked if he could help me. I found out immediately how decent and honest he was when he said he could fix it for only $30. He did it right away, and I added a huge tip! When Pedro fixed my car he noticed the brake pad was worn out. How lucky I was to find this out! Poor brakes could result in a catastrophe! I came back a week later, and Pedro replaced my rotors and brake pads. He charged me an extremely fair price for doing this work. It was evident to me how great a mechanic Pedro is, when I arrived and found many cars ahead of me. I highly recommend this place as they are truly excellent. His wife also works there and was so welcoming as well!

I have to say they did a great job on fixing the damage and the car was pretty much done when they said it would be done. Where I am totally disappointment, grease all over my light colored visors, inside windshield and ceiling controls (interior lights, moonroof...). They lost the key to my wheels but they did find another that I could use. A large chunk of rubber was somehow ripped off the weatherstrip inside my driver side door. When I brought this to the attention of the owner, Tony, he told me that his people could not have done any of this and that I probably never noticed the missing chunk of rubber. I do not work with grease and it is impossible that it was brought to them like that, they received a clean car. Also I am the only person who washes my car by hand, that said, I always open the doors and wash the door jams and panels inside the door. If that chunk of rubber was missing prior to the layover in the body shop I would have noticed it. I get in the car and drive everyday, I would have noticed. Being told I probably didn't notice was totally absurd. I was not looking for anything from the body shop but I wanted this experience to be known. So, my chat with the owner was a big disappointment! Lastly, my car was hit again and I contacted them to do the repairs. I found out pretty quickly that the insurance company removed them from their list of preferred body shops. I called Silva's twice and I was told by Steven, both times, that he would straighten that out with the insurance company, because he knew somebody there, and would call me back. Well, its been over a month and have heard nothing from them. If this is the way customers are treated I couldn't in good conscience use their services again.

I was expecting either a big bill or them not being able to fix it and that I would have to take it to the BMW dealer. They not only fixed it, but Kristen at the front desk diagnosed the problem in 10 seconds by asking me if the child locks were on or off. I did not even know the car had child locks. LOL. I was in the middle of a trip from Pennsylvania to western Massachusetts when my 2012 CRV started…read morethunking hard. I thought I had a flat but none of my tire indicators were on, nor any of my engine lights. I pulled off the highway and parked on the side of the road in a residential area and started investigating, which for me means kicking the tires and checking the oil. I'd just had the brakes done, but I couldn't see anything loose. A neighbor walked up, asked if he could help, but the problem seemed bigger than either of us could fathom. That's when he recommended this service station. I pulled in at about 9 o'clock on a Saturday morning, and the place was hopping. The owner came out, listened to my story, and said he might or might not be able to get to it today because his guys were leaving at 1 PM. I didn't have a lot of options, driving to the service station made me very nervous because of the clunk and clatter, so I parked the car, called around, and started calculating the cost of having my car towed 160 miles to home. Joao, the owner, came out to check on me, and I told him I hadn't found any other service stations that could help. He said he'd squeeze me in. His mechanic drove it into the bay and figured out the problem in one minute. Loose tire. As in, one of the bolts was about to pop out and the rest were wriggling free. I shudder to think what would've happened if I had been on the Hutch when the driver side front tire decided to separate from the vehicle! All of us breathed a huge sigh of relief. The mechanic double checked my new back brakes, tightened all the Lugnuts, and then they sent me to the local bagel shop with a list of pastries and coffee for the team. This was the lucky, lucky day I got to buy everybody breakfast as compensation for the repairs. Otherwise, no charge. As a musician on the road, I've had my share of breakdowns and emergencies. All in all, I've been really lucky, and today was no exception. If you're in a pinch, I recommend Joao and his friendly, efficient team without reservation.

I went inside to wait and the office worker tells me that the $49.99 oil change is no longer available and my only choices are the $79.99 or the $89.99. I politely told her no thank you I'm going to take my car elsewhere and she said oh you can't do that they already drained your oil. She ran into the bay and came back out to say that this time they'll do a one time only for $49.99. I waited until my car was done and my bill was paid to tell her she'll never see me again. I've also told a few of my friends about my experience and they won't be going back there either. Greed... the root of all evil.
