I've been here visiting a little over a week and have eaten Mama Wing Kitchen three times. I ordered the Mama Chop twice and the Mongolian Beef once. Not only is the food tasty, the two ladies running the place are as nice as can be. I highly recommend that if your in the mood for some good Chinese food, this is the place. Very yummy wing lollipops. I love whatever the batter is that they use, that's what makes them different from regular fried wings. I think they remove the skin, so maybe a bit healthier than if they had the skin. Both dipping sauces were delicious. I also ordered the spicy version of the crazy noodles. It was very good, but I wouldn't really consider them asian noodles, it was much more like a spicy spaghetti with meat sauce. Still very yummy. Very good service. If my family were with me, I wouldn't have been able to get them to eat here because my family doesn't like food with bones (wings or ribs), so I recommend adding some sort of battered chicken tenders. This is legit. It is real. Fast. And delicious. If you get the lollipop wings be sure to ask Mama for the sauce that is not on the menu. It is the best!! This little "hole in the wall" was amazing! Fast service with a huge smile. We tried 4 different things on the menu and they were all so good we couldn't decide what was best. Broccoli Beef stir fry was perfect. Veggies just right with yummy sauce. Sesame Shrimp was so fresh, sweet, tender...perfect! Then the Chicken Salad: sounds boring but don't be fooled! A wonderful place to enjoy delicious Chinese food. The Mom and Daughter duo do a great job with fresh ingredients, tasty sauces and fast service. We had chicken pops, general tso's chicken, mongolian beef and a taste of crazy noodles with peanut sauce which we cannot wait to try again on our next visit. Placed an order 30 minutes before they closed and sometimes restaurants can get irritated about that as they want to close and get in with their lives! The girl on the phone was super nice and our order was ready within 20 minutes. When I couldn't find parking near the restaurant for pick-up, I called the restaurant and the girl without hesitation offered to run the food out to me. Food was pretty good, the chicken lollipops were awesome and we got Mongolian beef and sesame pork which were good. I don't normally order Mongolian beef or sesame pork, I was trying something new so I probably won't order those specific dishes again but we will definitely order again! read more

The ladies working were friendly and helpful with information concerning the different menu items. I had the egg rolls and noodles. Since the noodles had peanut ingredients, she even asked about allergies. Everything was packed efficiently and separated in the needed type of containers to go with appropriate utensils provided. The noodles had awesome flavor and texture. The egg rolls remained crisp and warm on the walk back from the restaurant to my hotel room. Delicious food, reasonable prices, and warm hospitable service, a winning combo! My wife and I tried this restaurant out for the first time on a beautiful Saturday in Anacortes. We ordered the chicken lollipop appetizers, chicken salad, and mama chop rice dish. It was all delicious. The batter on the wings has an excellent light crunchy texture. My wife's chicken salad looked simple in composition but had complex flavor with the chicken being well seasoned and the salad was not laden in dressing. The pork chop was tender. The food came quickly. Their outdoor seating pavilion is nice and is dog friendly. The best part of our experience was getting to meet Weng the owner. She was very friendly and interested in meeting our friendly dogs, even giving them doggie treats. Needless to say she made new friends. I hope as Covid resolves people will come back to dining out and support businesses like this, which deserve to thrive. read more

Disappointing isn't a strong enough word, it was terrible. Certainly some of the worst food I've ever paid for. I truly hate to leave negative reviews for any business and rarely do so, however I felt the other reviews for this restaurant were so far off base that it's misleading to customers. We ordered takeout from here tonight and had to throw away the food as it was inedible, which was frustrating as it wasn't particularly cheap and surprising since up until this point I was confident my boyfriend would happily eat anything set in front of him. The egg rolls were greasy and didn't taste fresh at all, in fact they tasted like shrimp and it seemed as if they were cooked in oil that hadn't been changed in far too long. The chicken lollipops were also greasy, tough, bland and mostly just fried batter. The crazy noodles were literally soggy overcooked noodles with ground meat spooned on top reminiscent of bad school cafeteria food, unfortunately whatever meat that was supposed to be was also spooned over the fried rice. As I said I hate leaving bad reviews but someone needed to be honest here, what a waste of money. read more
