Italian Egg Rolls
Andrew L.

We met some friends here for dinner on a Wednesday evening. We were able to get in right away as there were plenty of tables. This was all of our firsts times trying out Mama Louise's Italian Restaurant. All of the staff were very friendly and they came by often to serve and clear plates. We were very impressed with how quickly a lot of our food came out of the kitchen. The food is all very straight forward classic Italian, no-frills. Besides a salad, there was not a mention of any vegetable being served with all of the dishes. For starters we tried the fried zucchini, well breaded and cooked 6/10. The Italian egg rolls also caught our eye, small 2 egg rolls cut in half an order 6.5/10, a little under done. We also had an order of the deluxe garlic bread, flavorful and what you would expect 6/10. Each of the entrees came with soup and a salad. The salads were nice, lettuce splashed with a choice of Italian or Ranch. The salad was fine, 6/10. The soup I really did not care for, it was minestrone which I do not like and will not rate. For our entrees we had the chicken franchaise, with a lemon butter sauce 6/10. The fettuccine Alfredo that was served with it was delicious 8/10. We also had two different pizzas half meatball and cheese 5/10 and a mama's supreme half with no black olives 5/10. We were a little turned off that they use canned mushrooms instead of fresh, but lots of toppings. Th dessert course was the highlight of the meal. The limoncello cake was great, well balanced, not over powering 7/10. The tiramisu was the best thing I had 8.5/10. Our friends had the gelato which they said were very good and also the cannolis which I didn't try but also said they were "good, not too sweet." I appreciate locally owned restaurants and would love to come back here. In a world where lots of places our trying to distinguish themselves, mama Louise's is doing the exact opposite. They stand out as a place that reminds me of childhood and doing classic Italian dishes very well. We were very happy to come here, friendly staff and plenty of parking. It's worth your time if you are in the mood for some great pasta, chicken Parmesan or a homemade lasagna. There are two prices, one for cash and another for card. All of the prices were very reasonable.

The ultimate Mom & Pop restaurant! Amazing flavor and top notch service. The owner came by at the end of our meal and we had a great conversation. I had the Chicken Franchaise, yummmm!!! The lemon did not overpower the great flavors and seasoning. The chicken was lightly breaded. Topped with a glass of vino ! Mmm mmm

Their awesome ice cream sundae with homemade wine sauce! It's to die for!

Wow! I had been wanting to try this place for so long, tonight was the night and Mama Louise did not disappoint! Amir was our server and he was delightful and attentive. Kent, the owner was present and involved, very nice. I ordered the homemade spaghetti and sausage and I've never tasted sauce so delicious, seriously the best I've ever had. I don't know how they make it taste so fresh and delicious without being acidic or too sweet, I will be craving it! The noodles were so fresh and light, not gummy at all. The garlic knots were soft and delicious, perfect flavor and texture. I had the Chianti Classico with my dinner, it was great. The only thing I would change is the calamari, a lighter batter would serve it well. I will definitely be back! Thanks guys :)

Had a fantastic meal at Mama Louise two weeks ago when me and my brothers and sister went to Denver for the Rolling Stones concert. The food was just as fantastic as it's ever been. Me and my late husband used to go to Mama Louise years ago when we lived in Denver. We lived in Thornton and would drive 40 miles just to eat at Mama Louise. My brothers had the Shrimp Alfredo and me and my sister split the Lasagna. The lasagna was a bit l spicy flavor which made it really unique. The red sauce was good not too tomatoey, just the right flavor. My two brothers were very happy with their meal as well I tried it and it was delicious creamy Alfredo sauce and the shrimp wasn't rubbery perfectly cooked. We had the tiramisu for dessert and it was fantastic! I stopped and talked to the owner Ken. He was always very kind to us and I told him I was really happy to be able to eat at Mama Louise after all these years. The ambiance is a very quaint Italian theme. The next time I have to be in Denver I will definitely be eating at Mama Louise.

Incredible food and excellent service. I would say a close second to Cafe Jordonos. Amazing food and fresh sauces.

If I could give this restaurant a 10/10, I would! What phenomenal service…read more We booked through OpenTable and mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary. When we arrived, the hostess greeted us by saying she saw we were celebrating, making us feel special from the moment we walked in. Then Noah came over to welcome us. He wished us a happy anniversary and was just the sweetest, so attentive from the start. He brought us garlic knots on the house for our first visit. They were to die for, and such a lovely way to make us feel welcome! We ordered salted caramel espresso martinis, and they were delicious. My husband had the lobster ravioli, and I had the chicken piccata. The food was divine! I also love that they offer both full and half portions. I ordered the half portion, and it was plenty; my husband happily finished his full one. A gentleman whose name I didn't catch poured our wine. He was so kind, and we enjoyed chatting with him about California wines. Later, after our cannoli arrived, he came back, pulled up a chair, and asked us about our love story. Such a thoughtful, personal touch. We truly felt the family spirit of this restaurant. It says so much about the owners and their team, the care they show their guests shines through in the service. We'll definitely be back! I wish I had taken pictures, but take my word for it: check this place out! My husband even said that, in the nine years we've been together, this was one of our top three dates ever.

Always love coming here whenever possible!…read more Food is always fantastic and so is the service!!

Isaiah 100% got you the fifth star. Thank you for making our dinner better, Isaiah!…read more Noise Level: When we arrived, we couldn't hear each other from opposite sides of our square 4-top table. Woah. Crowded: With folks at both tables, there really wasn't a walkway for folks to get past, lots of chair bumping and scooting, so I moved, thus clearing the walkway and we could hear each other better. Food: I remember really loving Maggiano's, but perhaps something changed in the recipe for your alfredo, because it seemed thin and runny. It ran right off the noodles, but as it got colder, it started sticking to the noodles more. It was good, but not wonderful. Service: Isaiah was amazing and totally made our night! Thank you!

Came here for one last dinner with my friend before heading to the airport. I ordered my favorite,…read morethe Linguine alle Vingole... Linguine clams in a delectable garlic sauce. It is my go-to order at any Maggiano's I visit. My friend ordered the Branzino Crab Imperial. I noticed that the bread was a little different than other Maggiano's restaurants I've been to. Normally, I'm served a generous portion of Italian bread before the meal. However, here they serve some sort of buttered rolls with pinch of flaky salt on top. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, as the bread was delicious. It's just a little different than what I've encountered at other Maggiano's restaurants. This dinner might have been the only time the two of us were quiet during my entire trip to Colorado because the food was really good! My only complaint is that my dish was a little bit bland. It's always been seasoned a bit better at other Maggiano's locations that I've visited... But it wasn't enough to keep me from ever ordering it again. Our server was very good and really attentive to our needs. I also appreciate how sturdy the to-go box was because decided to take my leftovers with me to the airport. The bag and container got a little beat up during the security screening but because they container was so sturdy, there was minimal spillage.
