Been coming here for 45 years and let me tell you this place is like our second home . Great service real authentic Italian food . Pizza is the best I've ever had ! Give it a try you won't be disappointed

Great experience and pizza didn't disappoint. This is a place of memory and great pizza. Arrived on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty empty. Was quickly sat in the bar as I wanted to watch football. Quickly ordered a medium pep, sausage and meatball and a side salad. The salad was fresh and perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. The pizza was spot on and of course had that distinct Mama Cozza crust. I have had this pizza for years and it felt like something changed, not for the worse, but I think they made a change to their cheese. Service was awesome and the tv and stories that started to be shared in the bar were entertaining. Thanks for a great slice!

Ordered the mamas special 10" and some wings. They have 3 flavors to choose from and I chose Buffalo. The pizza was tasty and satisfying. The wings were really soggy and undercooked. I let my friend try some wings and he agreed that they indeed tasted undercooked. They were good size wings and sauced thoroughly. Service was great. The soggy wings were the only thing that kept my rating from reaching 5 stars.

Fried Mozzarella tasted more like mozzarella dog (corndog). The batter was a little airy and had a slight crunch with a soft inside. The sauce served with it is a little simple. The salad believe it or not was the highlight. Creamy ranch dressing but if you don't like peas and beans in your salad make sure to ask without. On my shrimp Alfredo I had the option between jumbo shrimp and mini shrimp. It looks like they tossed a hand full and a half of mini shrimp from a frozen bag. The noodles were slightly under cooked, still a little firm. Spinach cheese ravioli was slightly undercooked as well and the sauce was too simple Garlic bread was room temperature and stale. Ratings Fried mozzarella: 5/10 Salad: 8/10 Shrimp Alfredo: 4/10 Spinach cheese ravioli: 4/10 Garlic bread: 4/10 Service: 9/10 Overall: Rating: 3.7 Price for party of two = $60.35

This is an average Italian restaurant that offers dinning and banquet rooms. The service was attentive but the food was mediocre. I had the lasagna which was covered in sauce. The portion was fine but I don't understand all the sauce to hide it. My friend had the chicken parmigiana and spaghetti, which she said was tasty. Parking can be a challenge. This is a basic place for typical Italian food - nothing special or unique.

Quality of the food is not as I remember. The pizza used to be delicious. I moved and did not go back. But let me tell you, please remove the mama because mama would not approve. I'm trying to put into words what the pizza tasted like and all I could come up with was refrigerated boxed pizza. Quality, freshness is not where you should cut corners. I didn't not enjoy it at all. Why can't businesses stick to traditional recipes and practices. I'm saddened that mamma Cozza's is not what it used to be. The "mozzarella sticks" were spongy and the cheese not melted! Service was not warm and welcoming. Instead it felt like we were walking into a conversation and it felt awkward. If the pizza was this bad then everything else must be the same. Sad. For the sake of the business I'd go back to how it used to be.

I have lived down this street from this place for 20+ years and have never ventured in here. This is by far some of the best Italian food that I have had. I had the chicken Parm and it was great. Normal chicken Parm has a deep fried greasy taste. This was such a pure taste that you could taste the breading on top of the chicken with the sauce. It was great. Our server Kari was super attentive. She gave me all her recommendations of the different things that she liked with lots of details. The salad was colorful, flavorful, and enjoyable. The atmosphere was light and the lights were softly dimmed. It is a smaller place so the seating isn't as large as most places, but it was comfortable. The prices were reasonable & the portions were huge. Will definitely be back.

I took my mother to this establishment for our Evening Rations. This was our first visit. Business was slow enough that we were immediately taken to a table. I ordered the open face New York Steak Sandwich. My mother ordered Lasagna with Meat Sauce. I also ordered a small Caesar Salad. The salad was good. The Steak was cooked to order (medium) and was near perfect. The fries were quite good. I thought that my mother's lasagna had too much sauce. There were onion rings on top of the steak though I definitely did not ask for the onion rings. I am allergic to onions and I did not see any mention of onion rings coming with the Steak Sandwich on the menu. Deduct one point for that. My mother was happy with her lasagna and soup... good. I do have a bone to pick about the personal appearance of the guy who greeted us. I noticed that he wore his shirt untucked. I consider his personal appearance to be unprofessional due to his untucked shirt. This is something that I am OCD about. I deduct one point for the untucked shirt. There were two all gender washrooms. One was bigger than the other. Both washrooms had paper towels available... good. Finally, my mother asked one of the employees to please turn the overhead fan near her off since she felt a draft. The employee honoured that request even though she didn't have to. I believe in giving credit where credit is due so I am crediting this establishment one point for honouring my mother's request. If I was to assign a letter grade like is done in school this establishment would be in there solid with a B.

I honestly had higher expectations for the food here. I ordered the 1/2 and 1/2 plate which has both the fettuccine Alfredo and the meat lasagna with it, the Alfredo sauce was bland and really just tasted like flour and garlic, I liked the lasagna better the lasagna noodles were perfectly cooked and I loved the cheese in it, but it had way too much sauce on top and it was too acidic, and the meat was super chunky. The minestrone soup was good. Boyfriend said the clam chowder was too thick and too fishy and that it was lukewarm / cold when it arrived. He got the build your own pasta dish with rigatoni, vodka sauce and jumbo shrimp and when it came out it looked like a bowl of soup , there was way too much sauce and it was too liquidy of a consistency , and the shrimp tasted too fishy . The cheese pizza was pretty good. Service was ok, although she was very nice, I couldn't find my waitress a couple times to get silverware, more water etc. Nothing was very memorable food wise, and I will not be returning here.

Located in the middle of downtown Fullerton, it's a charming and cozy space that's perfect for a date night or celebration. Come early, or plan to walk around a bit because they are walk up only, and your wait could be a while depending on where you want to be sat. Still, it's worth it for the great atmosphere and delicious pasta. Certain days of the week have different specials. For example, Thursdays they have discounted martinis (they have some GREAT drinks), and Wednesdays discounted wine bottles (and no corkage fees if your whole party orders an entree) so definitely make sure to check out if they're offering anything the day you come in. They have a pretty large menu of pasta dishes, and other entrees. Everything I've had off the menu has been delicious, including the special pasta of the day I ordered on my last visit. Plates range from $20 and up if you add proteins, but the portions are large and you definitely won't leave hungry. The service is very solid, but our last server Jessica really wowed us! She was personable, and had many great recommendations about the menu. Aside from checking in on us frequently and making sure our wine glasses were never empty, she really made our recent visit a standout one. Like they'd cracked a jar of Ragu, poured it over pasta, and expected us to be happy. Fun ambiance, but not enough to lure us back. Food was expensive and just meh. We don't recommend this place.

From the moment we walked in, I felt like I had time-traveled straight to 1972... almost like dining on the set of The Godfather. The atmosphere is classic, warm, and authentic, and the customer service was outstanding--attentive without being overbearing. We started with a Caesar salad to share, and it was the real deal. You could actually taste the anchovy--rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Easily enough for two. My wife ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce and said it was some of the best she's ever had. That's saying something. I had the chicken parmigiana, and it was spot on--perfectly cooked, tender, and absolutely mouthwatering. The side of spaghetti marinara paired with it couldn't have been better. The meal came with hot rolls served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar--simple and excellent. We also ordered the garlic cheese bread, and it was fantastic--fresh garlic, plenty of parmesan, perfectly done. Fair warning: it's a lot for two people, but it takes home beautifully. I'm not gonna lie though... it is kinda pricey for pasta but the recipes really remind me of grandma cooking -- super traditional, hearty, old-school Italian style. Nothing wrong with that at all, it's just personally I'm more of a pink sauce, creamy vodka sauce kinda guy these days Usually my go-to order is the Chef's Special rigatoni with sausage and mushrooms in that porcini sauce That dish never really misses for me. I also ALWAYS gotta get the breaded lamb chops with the peppercorn sauce because those are honestly one of the best things on the menu in my opinion. Crispy outside, juicy inside, sauce goes crazy This time though I decided to switch it up and tried the Linguine Sarno. It was good overall, seafood was solid, pasta cooked right, but I honestly wish it had more spice to it I kept waiting for a little kick that never fully came. Still decent though if you like lighter seafood pasta flavors. Also quick warning about the calamari because I learned the hard way last time make sure you finish it the SAME day. Once it sits overnight it turns super hard and chewy. Even tossing it in the air fryer the next day couldn't save it lol. One thing I will say is the service can be a little slower than expected sometimes. I usually call my order in like an hour ahead before getting off work, and this time when I got there it still wasn't ready yet But to be fair, the staff has always been really friendly, professional, and respectful every time I come through, so it kinda balances out. Ambiance is pretty much your standard quiet Italian restaurant vibes Nothing super modern or trendy, no loud music, just calm, chill, old-school dinner atmosphere where everybody's just there to eat good pasta and mind their business Overall still a solid comfort food spot when you're in the mood for classic Italian flavors
