This was a good find in playas de Tijuana. They have valet parking so it makes it easy. The spot is very nice! The staff is really sweet as well and the food was good! It's a mix of American breakfast with Mexican breakfast combined. We definitely enjoy this spot. They also have fresh squeezed juices which is cool! The fruit drinks are fresh and delicious, mouth watering. I drove from Oceanside CA to come have breakfast. My co-worker recommended it. Totally worth the 1+ hour drive. I've only ever come for breakfast and we have always loved it. Doesn't look like a big place from the front, but it opens up in the back to a nice patio. Love the breakfast food, the chilaquiles and bisteak ranchero have always been my favorite. Ive gone about 4x after the pandemic and its just not the same. The food quality isn't the best anymore. This place is an absolute gem in this neck of the woods. Depending on how slammed or slow they are... you will get your napkin placed on your lap. Thats probably the only thing that's hit or miss here. Other than that the eats are great. They start you off with a sweet bread basket. This restaurant was amazing! We are from San Diego and they were so patient and friendly to us even though we did not speak much Spanish. There was a lovely outdoor patio and the vibes were very classy! On top of the atmosphere and fantastic service the food was delicious and packed with flavor. We ordered the Malevt pancakes which were made with peanut butter, the breakfast burrito, and the "Awesome omelet" (and yes it looks stood up to its name). The prices are on point and so is the combination juice (orange, pineapple, and carrot juice). Saturday morning came and my parents and I are wondering the streets of beautiful Playas de Tijuana, trying to find a place to eat breakfast. We came across this colorful looking place. The signs on the windows caught our attention. If it says "Buen día para consentir" which translates to "A great day to indulge", well heck yeah I want to go inside. This place is small and I can see it easily becoming crowded. In my opinion the tables are a bit close to each other. Luckily it wasn't too full and the parking assistant directed us inside, and then taken to our table. Friendly service right away. Their specialty are the omelettes. I am not very fond of omelettes but believe me these looked amazing. Before we put in our order we were presented with a little fruit salad with yogurt and granola, then out came the coffee. Omg!! The coffee was great!! Mom and I ordered cafe de Olla and we both decided it was just like Grandma's. Dad ordered "jugo verde" ( green juice) it was very refreshing and healthy tasting. My omelette came and not only did it look pretty, it tasted delicious! The hash browns were crispy and perfectly seasoned and the omelettes which was stuffed inside the pocket of hash browns was very tasty as well. The tortillas were warm and made right there. This place only offers breakfast for now, but I can see great potential. Prices are average between $60-$80 pesos which is standard for all the good breakfast restaurants in this area. So if you are ever in the area for breakfast time come pay these guys a visit and you won't be disappointed. read more

When we first walked in, I was intimidated by how fancy the place looked, but despite the staff's outfits and the beautifully plated food, this place is affordable, tasty, and the staff are warm and patient. The food was flavorful and spicy, coffee wasn't great but their juices (especially their watermelon juice) were amazing. Almost didn't go in because I thought I was a bit underdressed but nobody seemed to mind (and as other diners showed up I realized I was dressed just fine). Good food, lousy service. Masks are supposedly required for entry, one young man came in for an interview into the restaurant while we were there, no mask. Three young women (seemed to be employees on their day off) also came in with no masks. The manager also did not have a mask, all other employees did. Food took a long time in spite of reduced capacity. No follow up on the food. I ordered a Cappuccino, with the host since the server was MIA, she eventually brought it, never asked if I wanted Sugar and left. I ended up grabbing the sugar from another table. Such a fantastic find thanks to yelp! My daughter and I came for breakfast a Sunday morning. Google maps failed us, no surprise there, but after a couple laps up and down the Main Street, we found the place. We pulled up to the front and a nice valet attendant politely greeted us and parked our car while we went in. The staff was all incredibly polite, opened the door for us, inviting us in. Once seated, we were promptly greeted and handed menus. They had a coloring page and crayons for my kiddo. My daughter went for the happy face pancakes which came with strawberries and whipped cream. I ordered the chilaquiles verde con pollo which came with some potatoes and refried beans. Both meals also came with a fruit skewer drizzled with yogurt and topped with granola. So darn tasty! Went for brunch, 2 stars for our waitress, she was the better part of this experience. Food was average, service was all around below average.
