After seeing so many positive reviews on TikTok, we decided to bring our family here for breakfast…read moreduring our vacation in Rosarito. Overall, it was a very good experience, but not quite a 5-star visit. The food was fresh and delicious, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. While we waited for our meal, they brought out a complimentary dessert and fresh fruit plate, which was a thoughtful touch and a nice surprise. One thing to keep in mind is that they don't allow outside drinks. Our server politely informed us that my daughter couldn't have her Gatorade inside the restaurant. It wasn't a huge deal, but I wish there was a little more flexibility for families with young kids. The other reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the seasoning. While the food was good, I felt it needed a little more flavor. Maybe our taste buds in the U.S. are just used to stronger seasoning, but I found myself wishing for a bit more salt and seasoning to really make the dishes pop. Overall, the food quality is excellent, the complimentary fruit and dessert were a nice touch, and I can definitely see why this place is so popular. I'd still recommend giving it a try and would come back the next time I'm in Rosarito.

The staff were very friendly, and a few of them spoke English, which made us feel even more comfortable. I ordered the Sunny Combo, which came with chilaquiles, potatoes, beans, bacon, eggs, and steak. It was a big breakfast, and everything was flavorful and delicious! Unfortunately, my wife recently had dental implants, so she could only eat softer foods. She ordered pancakes, eggs, and avocado. The pancakes were good--soft, fluffy, and delicious, exactly what she needed. The best review came from my wife when she said, "Let's come back." Definitely a breakfast spot worth checking out if you're in Playas de Tijuana. We'll be back!

Bad: * Very small café not good for large group parties. * A bit more pricey for the quality of food and drinks. * They prefer USD dollars or card. There's parking around the corner, but if it's busy, it'll be hard to grab a spot. Worth looking around for parking though! We went on a busy Sunday morning where we waited about 25 minutes, which was not a problem because there was plenty of wait seating and the store to keep you busy! Every seat is met with exquisite natural lighting, and we were seated next to a window, so it was even more bright! The restaurant itself is very home-like, bringing bright colors with dark wood details all around. There's also a cute fountain outside, and a shop cat to keep you company (el gatito!!). The menu is large with many options, and as you can see, it's a little bit on the pricer side for the area. However, I'll argue that it's well worth the money! When we were seated, we got the complimentary toast with butter and pumpkin jam, which is always a treat! We ordered a few mains for our family: chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, enchiladas and French toast (see photos). All were made with love and tasted homemade! The best part - and the reason why I begged to come back was for the fruit salad with frozen yogurt ice cream! DO NOT SKIP THIS!!! It is the BEST thing on the menu! I'll always bring them my business when I come to TJ!
