What a great little coffee shop. The coffee was great and the service was very good as well. I don't speak Spanish very well but the barista was willing to use Google translate and we were able to have a perfectly good conversation. They do have Internet and outlets so it's a great spot to sit and study or use the computer. It's definitely on a very busy corner so I wouldn't say it's quiet but it's definitely a great way to experience Juan A from the inside of your well-designed coffee shop with fantastic ambience My coffee was delightful as well so I appreciate that their product is as great as the place they have provided it in. This place is really good! Ordered a cafe de olla late, it didn't disappoint! Not too sweet, and the froth steamed milk made it like silk! Had a jalapeño with cream cheese empanada. my wife ordered a turkey sandwich and the bread was soft and moist It took this sandwich to the stratosphere! The location is super cute, step up from the sidewalk, and guess what--this coffee shop includes Wine Options and it was convenient for us to grab both coffee and wine. The coffee options were really great. I had the Caramelia Macchaito and it was amazing! Definitiely recommended, I believe they have a lot of branches. read more

This is my first time here at this cafe in Mexico. I ordered a vanilla caramel coffee and it did not disappoint. I was not too sweet or over powering. My sister-in-law had a cajeta coffee and she had loved it. My wife had a egg now coffee and she was very disappointed. She was comparing it to a star bucks. Hehe. Stopped in here during a group tour and this place was great. Got a chance to taste some unique drinks from Josè and he did not disappoint. I'm not a coffee drinker at all but the drinks are so unique and flavorful that you don't need to be a coffee fan to enjoy them. Let me start by saying I visit this location about 4 times in a week and the service I received from one of the young ladies with glasses was the worst. The first visit here We asked her a question about one of the drinks and she rolled her eyes at us and gave us an attitude. The second time we visited this location the same lady attended us we asked her is she can wipe down our table because it was full of crumbs and she did not do it. There was another young lady working there and she asked her if she was going to clean the table for us and the lady with the glasses said no she was not going to clean our table. read more

I stopped by here on the recommendation of a friend who lives locally and said this was the best coffee in Tijuana. Being somewhat skeptical but still needing an afternoon pick me up I decided to come here with friends. Before even stepping through the door the smell of rich coffee greeted me. I ordered an espresso cortado and it was delivered in a timely manner. The crema on top was artfully presented with an apple. Despite the milk in the drink you could still taste the espresso. The first sip was rich with chocolate flavored roasted notes and a smooth mouth feel. I had to stop myself from downing the whole cup in one go because it was that good and I wanted to savor the experience. Overall this place is a step above the popular corporate coffee chain and deserves a try if you're in the area. read more

We encountered this place while walking to CECUT down the street. It reminded me a bit of a Starbucks (I believe it's a chain) but less saturated by merchandise. The barista was friendly and accepted US dollars, there was free wifi, and we could cool down in the breezy outdoor seating area. The menu is extensive enough to please most people - they have lots of standard hot or iced drinks, and a selection of fancier brewing methods - chemex, aero, etc. Next time I would like to try a smaller independant coffee shop in TJ, but our experience here was definitely positive. read more

Pedí un Chai Latte de Vainilla sin Canela y en lugar de prepararme uno nuevo, le quitaron las espuma y parte de la bebida, me di cuenta por el peso de mi té al estar casi lleno pasó a estar a 3/4 de su capacidad y al levantarlo con mi mano se sintió la diferencia. Y cuando les dije "No quiero ser descortés pero te pedí mi té sin canela" ni un "Oh disculpa" me dijeron simplemente la muchacha que atendía se llevo mi bebida e "hizo el cambio" Creo que no regresaré con un servicio así.
