What a great little coffee shop. The coffee was great and the service was very good as well. I don't speak Spanish very well but the barista was willing to use Google translate and we were able to have a perfectly good conversation. They do have Internet and outlets so it's a great spot to sit and study or use the computer. It's definitely on a very busy corner so I wouldn't say it's quiet but it's definitely a great way to experience Juan A from the inside of your well-designed coffee shop with fantastic ambience My coffee was delightful as well so I appreciate that their product is as great as the place they have provided it in. Definitely a good spot to get your day going if you're spending the day in the city.

An outstanding coffee shop! Impressive scale and design with roasting facilities on site. Definitely felt like an elevated experience. Service was prompt and friendly - loved that they brought the drinks to your table. Coffee was clearly high quality and prepared with thoughtful ingredients. Not too sweet. My iced latte and their version of a Vietnamese iced coffee using a cold brew base was fabulous. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Super glad I stopped here. Great coffee (I had Americanos), great staff and plenty of room to sit solo and work or join a bunch of friends or colleagues and meet. If you're driving, there's an affordable parking lot across the street. Parking in the area is not easy.

A thing they've give me at this place

It's supposed to be a white Russian but they put on the received Vietnamese coffee but it's not either of those things it was just a bad tasting espresso with milk on top of it plus you have to pay for parking to get into this place

Awesome ambiance and the staff here can make the best coffee in Tijuana. Locally recommended and a great spot for an afternoon pick me up.

I stopped by here on the recommendation of a friend who lives locally and said this was the best coffee in Tijuana. Being somewhat skeptical but still needing an afternoon pick me up I decided to come here with friends. Before even stepping through the door the smell of rich coffee greeted me. I ordered an espresso cortado and it was delivered in a timely manner. The crema on top was artfully presented with an apple. Despite the milk in the drink you could still taste the espresso. The first sip was rich with chocolate flavored roasted notes and a smooth mouth feel. I had to stop myself from downing the whole cup in one go because it was that good and I wanted to savor the experience. Overall this place is a step above the popular corporate coffee chain and deserves a try if you're in the area.

We encountered this place while walking to CECUT down the street. It reminded me a bit of a Starbucks (I believe it's a chain) but less saturated by merchandise. The barista was friendly and accepted US dollars, there was free wifi, and we could cool down in the breezy outdoor seating area. The menu is extensive enough to please most people - they have lots of standard hot or iced drinks, and a selection of fancier brewing methods - chemex, aero, etc. Next time I would like to try a smaller independant coffee shop in TJ, but our experience here was definitely positive.

This place had so many reviews on google so we stopped by, but it wasn't great. It had wifi, great seating, but the coffee was okay.

One glance at top coffee spots in the area and we were sold on Malvia! We called an Uber to take us over. Once dropped off on Avenida Revolución we read in other reviews that the shop can be a challenge to find - but we are a persistent bunch and figured it out. Here are simple directions to locate it: find the gastropub La Justina on Revolucion and walk down the stairs to the left of it. Then proceed forward until you see the unmistakably unique and cute decor of Malvia on the left. There are several tables outside then the coffee bar space at the store front. All the drinks looked delightful and it was a tough decision to select just one drink. A friend opted for an iced drink with coconut and espresso, I chose the "Dorado" which featured turmeric. It was sumptuous and refreshing - with a gold appearance from the turmeric. The espresso was tasty and there was just the right amount of sweetness. Super refreshing and highly recommended. Service was kind and prices are super reasonable. The sitting area was unique too - there's other neat stores in the area and the temperature was nice since we were underground. Overall, Malvia was excellent and definitely worth checking out. Thanks for the memorable experience!

The first few times I had come to grab a coffee, Malvia was either closed or I was just unable to find them. If you are using Google Maps my best advice is to get to the corner of Madero and Third and enter one of several doors which will lead you into a large market style space. Malvia is about a shoe-boxed sized cafe in Zona Centro. There are several tables in the front with seating for probably around twenty. On the afternoon of a June day I visited and ordered an iced latte. It was 45 pesos and probably around twenty ounces. It was very delicious and I was happy to sip on it while I walked to Gastro Telefonica. Malvia definitely fits into to the Tijuana craft coffee scene and I highly recommend you stop by to try out a caffeinated drink.
