    matcha latte

Literally the worst matcha latte I've ever had in my life lol. I usually get the lavender latte with almond milk or oat milk and that's bomb but I decided to switch it up today and this tasted like sweetened milk in a bad way. Got home and threw it away. Worker got rude when I told her my matcha tasted like honey and not stevia. Lol

Not quite a place I would expect to come across in Tijuana. Tijuana surprises me with every visit. Before heading to the border, we stopped by for a coffee and to check this place off my long list of places to visit while in Baja. I wanted something different so they recommended the Latte Olla. It was their espresso take on cafe de olla, a traditional style of preparing coffee in Mexico. This latte contained brown sugar, cinnamon, and orange rind. The place is small and has an industrial look that would fit perfectly in the Arts District in Los Angeles. The employees were very friendly. I preferred this place to Das Cortez.

The coffee here is great, definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in Tijuana. The service in excellent and the place is really cool and modern.

My husband and I had a Vietnamese iced coffee and dirty chai and they were both delicious. The service was friendly, courteous and fast. Seems to be a popular and trendy spot. Highly recommended.

Beautiful gem in Tijuana that sets the standards high for coffee! Ordered some Oaxaca cortado made with local Mexican crop and milk, extremely delicious and pulled from a simonella. Loved every sip of my beautiful drink and wish this was a place I could visit more often! Beware. They do not accept credit card.

Excellent coffee. I highly recommend it. Best coffee shop in TJ. I recommend you try the the Vietnamita or cafe de Olla Latte.

One glance at top coffee spots in the area and we were sold on Malvia! We called an Uber to take us over. Once dropped off on Avenida Revolución we read in other reviews that the shop can be a challenge to find - but we are a persistent bunch and figured it out. Here are simple directions to locate it: find the gastropub La Justina on Revolucion and walk down the stairs to the left of it. Then proceed forward until you see the unmistakably unique and cute decor of Malvia on the left. There are several tables outside then the coffee bar space at the store front. All the drinks looked delightful and it was a tough decision to select just one drink. A friend opted for an iced drink with coconut and espresso, I chose the "Dorado" which featured turmeric. It was sumptuous and refreshing - with a gold appearance from the turmeric. The espresso was tasty and there was just the right amount of sweetness. Super refreshing and highly recommended. Service was kind and prices are super reasonable. The sitting area was unique too - there's other neat stores in the area and the temperature was nice since we were underground. Overall, Malvia was excellent and definitely worth checking out. Thanks for the memorable experience!

The first few times I had come to grab a coffee, Malvia was either closed or I was just unable to find them. If you are using Google Maps my best advice is to get to the corner of Madero and Third and enter one of several doors which will lead you into a large market style space. Malvia is about a shoe-boxed sized cafe in Zona Centro. There are several tables in the front with seating for probably around twenty. On the afternoon of a June day I visited and ordered an iced latte. It was 45 pesos and probably around twenty ounces. It was very delicious and I was happy to sip on it while I walked to Gastro Telefonica. Malvia definitely fits into to the Tijuana craft coffee scene and I highly recommend you stop by to try out a caffeinated drink.
