Ay Dios! Mi café favorito en TJ! Wow, the coffee here is so good. My favorite part is the little cookie bite they give you with every cup. Such a cute touch, & the cookie.... A crunchy little cinnamon bite is sooooo good! I recently introduced my coworker to this place and he is obsessed! Will be back!

My cappuccino was just so delicious and perfect! I may have been desperate for a coffee when I finally made it here, but it tasted like heaven! Planning another trip to Tijuana within the next year and absolutely can't wait to come back here!

The coffee was delicious and the pastries were to die for. The cream filling was so addicting.

Small but state of the art!

This is another excellent example of the thriving coffee industry in Tijuana Baja California, they lead by Their high standards on their service, they also have a bakery were they do their own breads and pastry, truly excellent! The espresso I had, was with berries and honey notes, accompanied by a home made bake sandwich and than a little sweet treat to close the deal! This is very an innovative modern industrial design with a rustic feel to it, it makes it very alluring, comfortable and zen, of course that the water mill there helps a lot with the zen thing. It even has a perfectly designed drive-through, state of the art La Marzocco and an incredible set up. One of the baristas there was telling me that they will have a roaster next to the Baloyan Winery.

Oreo frap

Well, this wasn't my drink (see picture); however, my sister really liked it! She ordered the large Oreo frap drink, and drank every sip of it. (She normally drinks a sip or two of a drink.) A large cost us $2.77 USD. It was a refreshing sweet treat in both the taste and wallet! Better than Sbux.

Sometimes simple taste notes are always the best! The place is sort of tucked in, it's by the I-5 North exists and has ample parking. We didn't experience much service since we just wanted to purchase coffee beans. The shop has some cool merchandise that we will be checking out soon. Best coffee beans in the South Bay!!

The whole place has this rustic, barn-style charm that makes it really stand out--super cozy and unique compared to your typical café. The latte was excellent. You can really taste the freshness of the beans, and that flavor stayed consistent all the way to the last sip of my cup--which is something you don't always get. It's clear they care about quality and roasting their coffee right. What made the visit even better was the experience. I had a great conversation with the shop manager, who was incredibly welcoming and genuine. We ended up talking about coffee and realized we share the same appreciation for it, which made the whole visit feel more personal. You can tell he's passionate and truly cares about customers. The location is also super convenient, right near Interstate 5, making it an easy stop whether you're passing through or heading somewhere nearby. If you're looking for freshly roasted beans for your home setup or even for your own coffee shop, this is definitely a place I'd recommend checking out.

Instead of crawling back for another bag (god espresso beans I the way) , I figured I'd keep the mission alive: find the best espresso beans in San Diego. Acento is right outside the Liberty Station area in a little plaza that also has a Barnes & Noble. Translation: easy parking, zero circling the block like a vulture waiting for someone to leave. The shop itself is pretty big inside but minimal. A few tables, a few chairs, nothing crazy. It feels more like a place that takes coffee seriously rather than a place designed for people to sit for hours. The menu is simple: hot drinks, cold drinks, and a few flavor add-ons if you're feeling fancy. No 47-step latte recipes, no drinks that sound like they belong in a dessert menu. I ordered a Freddo -- basically espresso with a little honey and a splash of water. That's it. And honestly... respect. It was strong, you could actually taste the espresso, and it didn't come buried under half a gallon of milk and a mountain of ice like most coffee shops try to pull. None of that "coffee-flavored milkshake" nonsense. This was real espresso. The kind that reminds you coffee used to be a wake-up drink, not a personality trait. Bottom line: don't come here expecting foo-foo unicorn frappes or drinks that require a paragraph to order. Come here if you actually like coffee... and if you don't need it disguised with caramel drizzle and whipped cream to get it down. I'll definitely be back for a drink again but for now I will continue the ongoing, highly scientific research project known as "finding the best espresso in San Diego."
