We sat out on the patio, had the james bond tea which was amazing and had a lot of fun hanging out here! A couple sitting next to our table were amazing and hilarious and made it even more fun! Def recommend this place!

There are a few things I just have to get: some fresh made scones, sausage rolls, clotted cream, tea and maybe a candy bar or two, or three. They have the violet crumbles which one one of my favorites! However, their homemade items are where it is at! I love their scones. They are lovely. They usually have a few different kinds that have been baked but there are also mixes you can take home to make yourself. They have plenty of different tea mixes and it's nice to try a new one out each time. They also have plenty of imported candies, treacle, tea towels, fun gift ideas and many other things. The store also hosts English teas and I would love to do one at some point. There are many different ones and they make it in house. They also make sausage rolls, meat pies and many other savory items. Great to stop in and see what they have. The ladies who work inside have always been lovely, welcome a conversation or questions and although the store is small, it is packed with great merchandise! You will not be sorry you stopped in!

Located in a pleasant sidewalk-lined row of shops, Aubrey Rose is a hidden gem of a quaint, distinctively feminine and vintage-style tea parlour that offers a charming and cozy British afternoon tea experience. As guests enter the venue, they can feel like they are stepping back in time, being transported by elegant, traditional and vintage English charm. The ornate space is romantic floral themed and antiques-filled with tea-related gifts and Victorian décor that fill up the shelves which create intimate table spaces set with delicate fine bone china. At Aubrey Rose, the cherished ritual of afternoon tea is elevated to an upscale affair. I like to opt for the Queen Victoria Tea which includes a Seasonal Soup Course with Accompanying Savoury, a three-tiered tray, organized by savoury and sweet (Bottom Tier: Assorted Finger Sandwiches and Savouries, Middle Tier: fresh Seasonal Fruit, and Top Tier: an assortment of Petite Treats and Sweets), Dessert Scone and accompaniments served as the last course, and Unlimited Premium Loose Leaf Tea. I highly recommend the chilled cantaloupe soup which is beautifully presented and deliciously refreshing. The house made tidbits and sweets are also delightful. Service is welcomely warm, friendly and attentive. The Aubrey Rose Tea Room experience heightens a simple pause for a beverage, blending comfort with a touch of elegance, into a moment to slow down and appreciate the finer things in life...with your pinky up.

Dearest Gentle Reader,…read more It is with utmost delight (and a well steeped cup of Royal Wedding tea in hand) that I report on an afternoon most Devine. What a truly magical experience this was! A friend of mine, who shares the love of Afternoon Teas, treated me to a glorious birthday gift of a Bridgerton Themed Afternoon tea. Service was nothing short of exemplary. Attentive without being overbearing..much like a certain duke we all know. One might even say they anticipated our needs before we ourselves could whisper them behind a fan. As for the ambiance...reader, ''twas a dream. From the florals, fine china, and just enough regency charm to make one consider adopting a new title and staying indefinitely! If there is any gossip to be shared, it is this: securing a reservation may require strategy, patience, and perhaps a touch of cunning. But I assure you..it is well worth the effort. Should you find yourself longing for a touch of refinement, indulgence, and escapism, do not hesitate. Make haste. Yours truly, A most satisfied guest (who may or may not be returning for another round of scones) XOXO

First visit to The Britainnia Tearooms. It's the first of what we hope becomes several visits here…read more Now, that we've experienced it- we think the themed teas are definitely the way we want to enjoy this wonderful Tearoom, but I'm sure regular teas are great as well. We attended the final Bridgerton Themed Tea. It was delightful. The decor, gift shop, bakery items, our Tea service and the fun games (with prizes), and take home treats were all very elegant and enjoyable. Loved the delicious sandwich, dessert and scone offerings in our tea service and the wide selection of teas. We had to stop at the gift shop after our Tea for goodies to take to friends. We got the lemon curd, the orange curd, and gooseberry jams to take with us, but they had a number of other flavors.

I can't say I had the interest in going, however that changed and my curiosity about what a High Tea was, and the crowds here at "Tea Time" left me wanting to try it out. This was not just Tea, this was a bounty of tea, they had so many different types and flavors of tea (40+) that you sort of want to try them all, while technically you can as the tea is unlimited, but trust me you won't as the two pots of tea you start with, is a lot of tea for two! Sure, in a larger group you can try a lot more, but it's still a lot of tea. The Grand Tea, High Tea option was what we went with, and you started with a soup, followed by a tiered selection of sandwiches, desserts and scones. I assumed that I would have a snack here and then get something else to actually eat but I was filled to the brim when I left here. This place was full to capacity when we went, but you did not feel encroached on, the owner Louisa, the servers, all amazing, welcoming and nice. I feel like I was a bit unprepared as everyone else was dressed up with little hats, and my wife and I had no little hats! Next time, I will 100% at least sport that little hat, and there will be a next time, absolutely great experience!

The outside of the structure was cute as well and I would like to experience that soon. When you walk inside, it's a store with cute tea related things. As you pass through that room, it opens up to the actual tea room and it's so delightful. There are European things on the wall and the walls are painted nicely. The tables are decorated nicely as well. You get a choice of which 2 teas and food you want. We tried a lunch like tea, a black tea, and I believe some type of raspberry tea. We had a Turkey cranberry sandwiches, cucumber sandwiches, soup, delicious bread, and desserts. The food was tasty, but hard to eat all of it due to all the tea drinking. The tea pots are wonderful and the tiered serving trays are great. Even the utensils are fantastic that I want some at my house. They do offer events so you should check those out! I'll definitely come here again!!
