1 Star - Extremely Disappointing Customer Service…read more Our experience with Norristown Glass Co. has been very frustrating. We had a bathroom glass door installed on July 28, and less than a month later, the door is misaligned and difficult to open. My husband reached out on August 15 and August 17, but there has been very little communication and no meaningful follow-up from the owner. We were also told that the owner wanted to charge $350 to repair the door without even coming out to inspect it first. Because Norristown Glass Co. was recommended by our contractor, we expected a much higher level of professionalism and customer service. Instead, we ultimately had to ask our contractor to go with us to the company's storefront just to get someone to acknowledge the problem and tell us that a worker would come out to inspect the bathroom door and determine the next steps. Even after doing that, there has still been no communication from the owner. The issue isn't simply that the door needs attention. Problems can happen with any installation. The bigger issue is how the company has handled it. A customer should not have to chase a business, physically visit the storefront, and involve the contractor who made the recommendation just to get someone to look at a door that was installed less than a month ago. This has been a poor reflection of Norristown Glass Co. and, unfortunately, a poor reflection on the contractor's recommendation as well. We are still hoping the company will step up, inspect the door, and resolve the issue appropriately. But based on our experience so far, the communication and customer service have been extremely disappointing.

When he brought the large pieces of glass in on his shoulder he knocked into our chandelier and then our walls upstairs which took a chunk out of our door woodwork. I did not complain at that time. My problem with Mike is the door moves, rattles and shakes when you open it, mike said I'll order you a bracket to go across the top to secure it in place. Ok great, that was acceptable to us. However when we have texted or called to find out when he is coming to finish the job he is non responsive. Mike has not returned my texts, phone calls or emails and I now realize he has blocked both my number and my husbands. He has completely disappeared ! Unprofessional and rude beyond. Do not use Norristown Glass for any projects you have. I wish I had read the reviews on here b/c I am not the first to complain about non responsiveness from Mike.
