I've had three body shop repairs done by Badell's over the last several eyars. Scheduling has been simple. Coordination with my insurance company flawless, replacement rental vehicle provided perfectly, and repair work done on or ahead of schedule. One quick note: The true demonstration of perfect service is if there is an issue. Several days after I got my car back on my most recent visit I noticed that the fender and bumper were no longer flush at the seam. I called Badell's. They said bring it in. I did. They took a look. I was asked if I had a few minutes. I said yes. Less than 10 minutes later it was fixed perfectly. Apparently a small spot weld failed and they immediately re-welded it. Perfect customer service. I took my car here through my insurance after getting hit by someone who then drove off. The repair was $1100 out of pocket and I was so upset because it was a little dent and I didn't expect that price. They fixed my car in just a couple of days and when I went to pick up, the lady at the front suggested I reach out to my insurance because as a DE driver I can be reimbursed due to an uninsured driver. I didn't even know this was a possibility so I'd like to thank that lady for giving customers good info that the insurance companies won't. I was able to be refunded about 60%. Took my car here two weeks ago for a front bumper replacement. They rushed the work and my front bumper lining came off and it looked like my bumper is still not properly on. Do not take your care here, they are friendly at first but when you want them to fix what they rushed through , they are not friendly and act like your inconveniencing them. read more

My dad took his car there because of the recent hail storm. His insurance company (nationwide insurance) told him that it is an approved body shop. This ended up being a huge mistake because they reported on the claim that the hood was going to be replaced but instead they tried to repair it. Still has imperfections. In short this place sucks! My car is currently still at the shop and I took it there because my insurance company said it was recommended. They told me that my car would be done within 2 to 3 weeks (which is a ridiculous amount of time to fix the car considering my first car that was in an accident only took three days to fix). They told me they would keep me updated and I even signed a form and agreeing for them to contact me and update me. They claim they have been giving me a step-by-step update on the car and I never got a single call or email from them. Until I initiated calling them. And every time I call them asking the status of my car they just keep giving me the runaround saying all these different excuses. This place is awful!!! I hopefully will get my car back soon we never know but I will say that this place has been an awful experience and I will never ever ever take my car to the shop ever again!!!! If I had a choice between totaling my car or going to the shop I would total my car. If I could give this a zero star rating I would! Update: I finally got my car back and the owner told me all the things that they fixed straight to my face and then I turn on my turn signal and it wasn't working! I am sorry I do not recommend this place, if my insurance company uses this collision place and they wanted them to fix my car no way very bad experience after a year later my car is at a different body shop fixing their mistake and other things they missed. I love these guys! I've had to use them 3 times in the past 7 years (unfortunately) and each time they have been great. They are an approved appraiser and repair facility for each of the insurance companies I have had over the years, which is excellent, and they are always fast and fair. They give honest estimates and realistic repair times, which in my experience is not always guaranteed with body shops. The staff is courteous, quick, and always available during their business hours. The customer service here is as exemplary as the quality of their work, top notch. I'll be bringing my cars here as long as I live in the Philly area and always recommend them to friends and acquaintances. read more

Dropped my husbands car off 3 weeks ago at the recommendation of Geico after a hit and run left his bumper and rear quarter panel damaged. Everyone was very friendly and helpful when we dropped it off, assured us all the parts were readily available and it would be worked on right away and was given an estimated completion date of two weeks. On the day it was set for completion we received an email saying it was nearly finished then at the end of business the same day received a follow up email stating it would take another week. Called to find out why and was given the run around. The extra week is up and we had to call to get an update, they said it would take another few days because the painting still wasn't done and they wouldn't be starting that process till the following day. They gave absurd time estimates, generic excuses of waiting on parts when we were previously told all the parts were in, and that our car wasn't even looked at the first week it was there because they were busy with other vehicles. If you're in no hurry to have work done and are ok with no communication or ridiculous excuses, than these people are right for you. Currently, we are still waiting on his car to be done. read more

My boyfriend took his car to Badell's after he was in a car accident, as the shop is approved by his insurance. However the shop never contacted him when they said they would, forcing him to call to get any information about the status of his car over the course of over two weeks. When he called the latest time man doing the repairs was put on the phone. He was rude, snappy and not at all helpful. Additionally, the shop informed him that because the car appeared to be totaled, a representative from the insurance company would come out to verify the status of the car on a certain date. Once again, the shop did not call, so my boyfriend called the insurance company, who informed him that they did not know why the shop had told him that as all of their agents were busy the dates that he was told they'd be coming. This has been an extremely frustrating process with terrible customer service. read more

Before these two times, I was never in a car accident of any kind. They answered all of my questions and help to calm all of my concerns. I did not have service done from this business. However, I am here to write a review on their driving. I was taking my children to school in the morning. I was driving on Naamans Rd. Badell's Collision Employee got into the left turning lane to hop onto I95 South (to head into Pa) He then decided he did not want to go that way, failed to use a turn signal and almost caused an accident. I beeped my horn to alert him. He lets me pass and goes into the far right lane only to speed up,mouth something at me and flip me the finger. This behavior is inappropriate, especially when children are present and he was in the wrong.This man was in the company's truck. His rage and driving skills do not speak highly of the company. read more
