The detailed story: My son bought a motorcycle, and Jackie at Ennis performed the state-to-state title transfer (DE to PA), completed form MV-1 (Application for Certificate of Title), notarized the bill-of-sale, submitted PA registration, issued a new PA tag, and even applied for my son's current address to be updated on his license. And here's the part for which I will be forever grateful to Jackie: Tuesday, May 5th, we had traveled 2 hours from Harrisburg, and had originally planned to complete the purchase and transfer the vehicle at Wiggins Auto Tags (954 E Baltimore Pike Kennett Square), which was closer to the seller, and supposed to be open until 8. I called Wiggins the day before to confirm they would be open until 8. At 6:50, we pulled into the parking lot at Wiggins, and they were closed! A sign on the door stated they were closed, and would resume normal hours the next day. Very grateful to the seller as well, who discovered the closure before we arrived and had contacted Jackie at Ennis. Ennis normally closed at 7, but Jackie graciously agreed to stay open. It took us 15 minutes to redirect to the Ennis location, and we arrived about 7:15. Jackie was finishing up with another customer, and then helped us, and we finished up our transactions around 8:15. Jackie gave up an hour of her night to save us having to reschedule and travel another 4 hours round-trip. Jackie's is performance is outstanding. She is profusely knowledgeable and efficient, and all with a pleasant and wonderfully friendly nature. Thank you, Jackie!!

When the young woman at the desk heard his tags rattle, she asked if I had a dog there. I said I did - he's in a crate. She told me they don't allow dogs there. That is absolutely their right but they might want to mention that on the website. I read it to see what I needed. I said, "Thanks - I'll take this somewhere else as it's 85 degrees out and I can't leave him in the car." She said nothing. I took the dog and went to Wiggins Auto Tags two minutes down the street. No problem with crated dog. They notarized the letter for $5 and offered me a free copy for my files. I'm not someone who takes a dog into restaurants or libraries or anywhere else that might be problematic but why wouldn't you mention the "no dog" policy somewhere as a courtesy.

First, they are so smart being open until 7:30pm on weekdays. HUGE plus when I was trying to find a tags and titles place enroute from work to home. Popped in on a weekday evening after work and was politely greeted by Kevin who was so kind and patient as I stated off my initial convo with I have no idea what I'm doing, sorry if i don't have the right things, but here is the information I have. One would typically receive an annoyed look, but Kevin was so cool and was like what do you got. Ease overcame me immediately. Turned out, I had all the right info needed from my car company to get the title so I could move forward registering in PA from NJ. Kevin took all my data, even taking the time to fill out my form that I could of so easily done, made the copies he needed, and said we'll call you once we receive what we need. Quote time was 1-2 weeks typically depending on your cars company. Received a call less than a week later saying all was ready. Came in, signed my papers, settled up, new PA plate in hand and next step inspection instructions. Cost for my needs was $209 which I felt was reasonable even though I had no clue what the going price range is for these types of services. She folded the pink slip and handed it to him. He trusted her and put the paper in his pocket and she said we were done! He drove 1 hour and 10 minutes back home, and come to find out, when he took the paper out of his pocket and read it, his bill was only $192, she charged him $402.00! I would not recommend this notary shop, but if you do go here, keep your receipts and verify that amount you paid is the same as the one on your receipt!
