Super helpful and super friendly! I was afraid I'd hit a line like others have encountered but seemed to pick the best time (mid-afternoon) and was the only one there. Just remember to bring cash to avoid credit card fees. read more

Great place! great people great service! Always helpful and easy to get things notarized there.

I felt nervous to call any auto tag place because I'm a woman and I don't really understand the process and anticipated being spoken down to. I needed a title transfer on a car that I was inheriting. I loved that the two times I called I spoke to two different women who were very patient, kind, and knowledgeable. They told me exactly what I needed to bring. The process itself went smoothly, and I felt taken care of. It was handled in an extremely professional manner from start to finish. The only thing I didn't like was the set up of having to talk through plastic and feeling a little claustrophobic when the tiny waiting area/front porch started to fill up. read more

Used this faculty many times. Never had a problem. They take the time to explain if you need that.

Every time you visit there are different rules. Entirely inconsistent. Use elsewhere. read more

Having just moved back to the area from California we needed to transfer the title and get new plates for the car. As is usual with DMV-related processes we expected a long wait and hassle. Not so here! We were in and out in less than 45 minutes. We did have to run to Wawa as they only accepted cash for the specific title service we were getting. All in all a great experience and highly recommended read more

Havertown Auto Tags is the BEST! Maureen Smyth knows what she is doing and offers helpful information. We got there first thing in the AM and there two customers in front of us. Didn't take long at all and even the customers are friendly. Maureen treats her customers great. I needed to switch over my car registration and had a very tight deadline (2 weeks!) I called to explain the situation and Emily helped simplify the process by going over step by step what I needed to do. She (and Maureen) made the process hassle-free and within a week and a half, I was able to procure my PA car registration. What sets them apart from other auto service vendors (and I went to another one prior to them) is their customer service. Guys, Havertown Auto Tags is really as good as it gets. Friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and quick. I highly recommend anyone to go to them! read more

Buying out my leased Corolla has been a bigger P.I.T.A. than I ever imagined. Seeking out a decent loan, getting together the paperwork needed by the credit union to finalize the loan, trying not to crack under the pressure of the time crunch (this all needs to be done by next Saturday, and I work 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. every day)...I'm going more than a little crazy. So it was a relief to walk into Havertown Auto Tags, explain what I needed, and be told, "Not a problem, I'll have that done right away." I could feel the load dropping from my shoulders. Props to Margie for filling out the invoice quickly; she even faxed it to my CU when she was done. What an excellent business. Now I can enjoy the rest of my Saturday. read more

Easy to work with and certainly one of the cheaper tags places around. Have used multiple times.

I sold a motorcycle and 3 cars over the years. H.A.T. took car of all the paperwork for me. Very fast and easy.

These folks are great... kept me in the loop as they progressed on a tag transfer, pleasant to deal with and reasonably priced for their services. I highly recommend them. read more

this place knows their stuff! they are very fast and efficient and will know all the answers to your questions regarding your paperwork

I literally joined yelp just to write this review. I can't recommend this place enough, I needed to transfer a title and pick up new tags. They were helpful, answered every stupid question I had like it was the greatest question they had ever heard. Maybe they down a lot of 5-Hour energy, because I have no idea how anyone can be that pleasant and friendly at 7:30 p.m. after working all day! You ladies were great. read more

I just want to sincerely thank Maureen who works here. I was robbed over the weekend and the lovely person stole everything I had. It has been a complete hassle since. I had to start by getting a new license (seems simple enough). Every other auto tag place, 2 different DMV's, and multiple phone calls, I was being told I couldn't be helped for reasons such as, "that department is only open this day through this day", or, you have to bring charlene a pumpkin pie in order to speak to this person, or that's not our issue, or maybe if you didn't keep your ID in your wallet. All of these people treated me like I was the criminal in this situation. However, when I walked into Havertown Auto Tags, Maureen said she wasn't able to print me out a license (which I knew), but that she could have one mailed in 2 days. She also gave me a notarized slip of paper saying I had my license stolen and that one was on its way. Fast forward the next day, I get a phone call saying it was here! She must have over nighted the request! I could not believe it! Not only did her simple gesture of the slip of paper (in case I got pulled over) but the incredibly fast service was more meaningful to me than she can ever imagine. This was the only place that has helped me in this whole experience. Thank you for being human and most likely just doing your job, but you have no idea how much that means to me! Thank you again! read more
