Awful! Utterly awful. No one wants to work here or do their job properly. If you want something DMV related done, they will lie up and down that the DMV has them on their website wrong and they can't do this and they can't do that and honestly I just think they're being lazy. I've had to use Hunters a few times out of necessity and received nothing but bad service, lies and attitude. And then they turn around and point the blame on me, the clueless customer. What am I to do in this situation? You need ANYTHING DMV related, go to the AAA in Clifton Heights, they're fast and friendly. Stay far away from Hunters. read more

I was wildly confused on the process for titling and registering my car in PA (I recently moved here) and the staff at Hunter's couldn't have been more helpful. They are incredibly knowledgeable, efficient and kind! I asked a bunch of questions and they were able to confidently answer each one. They flew through the process and I couldn't believe how simple they made such a complicated task. They have also implemented great procedures to promote safety during COVID-19 including limiting the number of people inside and using plexiglass shields as a barrier. I don't think I'll need to go back here anytime soon but I will be recommending it to anyone who does! read more

Absolutely friendly staff member, who made me feel really at home here. I highly recommend Hunters Auto Tags, I had a very complicated situation involving a title to my Mothers Vehicle, not only was my Mother very recently deceased but her title was no where to be found, the executor of my Mothers estate resided in California . I began calling Lisa from Hunters literally 6 months ago, I was already very stressed had no idea how to handle the situation to get the title , then transfer into my name, Lisa took everyone of my calls, never made me feel like I was pestering her, the Notaryy in California made a huge mistake with the title!!!! Ugh Lisa calmly found a resolution to the mistake, called and spoke to the notary in California. Today I walked out with title transferred and an up to date registration, what a professional, patient employee!!!! read more

I went in to order vanity plates, one of the two were wrong! When I called her she was rude and unprofessional to say the least. She REFUSED, absolutely REFUSED to correct the mistake. Kathy Hunter told me that I paid for a service and I received a service. Also, the DMV requires these companies to hold onto their paperwork for three years, it's been only 21/2 months since I've ordered my plates but yet she told me the paperwork is gone!! I am currently filing a complaint against her. She also called me an "asshole" while I was walking out of the office!! Which i did record this entire conversation!!!! read more

Swore not to do that again for auto tags.searched online and found this place a few miles from home. Friendly and helpful on the phone. Drove there as soon as I could.Unassuming storefront. Impeccable friendly and clean interior. Dana did a whizbang job getting me my new plates and explaining the process for inspection within the next 10 days. The difference between this and Pennsylvania DOT is night and day. But beyond that, these folks were just downright outrageously professional, efficient, and pleasant. It is a shame that I only have to register my car in Pennsylvania once! Otherwise I would become a "regular" here - the service is that good. If you are in Pennsylvania I need auto tags or insurance new or renewed definitely come to J and L hunters Incorporated.
