He gave me an hour window on the following Monday afternoon that he would show up to do the estimate. On Monday that hour came and went so I decided to call him up to see if he was still going to show, more mumbling and some excuse about a windshield wiper being the cause of his tardiness and then he said he would be there in 5 or 10 minutes. After waiting another 30 minutes I decided just to go back to work and if he ever showed up the wife was there to take care of it. She called me 20 minutes later saying that besides being a complete dick he also threw a kick towards our dog (who stands a very tall 14 inches from the ground and has never been unpleasant to anyone in his life). We easily came to the decision not to hire Howard for this simple job, but can you imagine the horror story I would be telling if we did.

This last time, we had three Junipers go down in the backyard because of the late Spring snow. I got a hold of Howard, and he told me he would be out the next day for an estimate. They are quite a busy crew, and I was glad to just get an estimate early. He came out and saw how bad they were and said he would do them as soon as possible, but couldn't promise anything soon. One thing with them, is they will give you and estimate, but you may have to wait a week or so for the crew. He got out here a few days later, and called the night before. I wasn't expecting it so soon, but was grateful. They did and outstanding job removing them, grinding the stumps and removing all the debris. It was exactly as they have done two other times. Their service is worth the wait, and we have never been disappointed.

Didn't experience anything even close to rude or disrespectful, but everyone interacts differently I suppose. We recommended Rope N Saddle to our neighbor and it seems they will have more business as a result.

He showed up as scheduled and gave us a quote on the work. He said that we would have to wait quite a while to have the work done. That was understandable because everyone else was too and not a big deal. So we waiting about a month an a half. Here is why we are so upset; The "day before" the work was to be done, Raymond had his office manager call me (late in the afternoon the day before) and say that Raymond wouldn't be able to come as scheduled and contracted. She said that one of the workers hurt himself and they could not do the job. I was very disappointed but said I understood. I ask "when" the reschedule would be. She ask if I still wanted the work to be done.....I said yes of course. She acted surprised but she said she would get with Raymond on a new date and would call me back in a week or so. Well, 2 weeks pass and nothing. So I call....and left a voice mail. Raymond emails me and says that he is still trying to figure out "how" he can do my job and he says he is leaving for vacation the next day for a month! I let him know that I need to be rescheduled before he leaves and that this is putting me in a tough spot. He then emails back and says he is cancelling the contract and left us with no service! He called later that day implying he was done (my error I did not explicitly ask if he had completed everything!), I paid by CC the remaining $1250. When I got home from work my yard was destroyed and he was not done.
