I received an email response to my inquiry through Yelp in less than 12 hours. Megan arrived when she said she would and sent an email estimate the next day. While my neighbors were waiting 6 - 8 weeks for the work to be done, TangleWood scheduled ours for 2 weeks out. Megan and another crew member efficiently took care of removing the old tree, grinding the stump, and planting the new tree. They left the location of the old tree ready for reseeding and the yard in pristine condition. Definitely would use them again.

It is sick and splitting, so they trimmed the sick branches and are going to cable the trunk to keep it together. Mike is truly an expert and was able to easily diagnose our tree problems and recommend and carry out what needed to be done. They were efficient, took extreme care with protecting our power lines and property from branches, and after all of that work, they cleaned up beautifully. We were amazed! Root Tree Service completely screwed me over. The city informed me that I needed to have my 3 large…read moreSiberian Elms trimmed. I had the option to use the city's contractors, which at the time was Root Tree Service, or I could get quotes and hire any company I wanted. After a little hunting around I decided to go with Root Tree Service because they were cheaper and because they were contracted through the city which allowed me to pay in installments. It all sounds good, right? Wrong. The day they trimmed my trees I was at work. When I got home they had already left and here's the kicker, they only trimmed the half of each tree! They didn't touch anything over my yard or house and only trimmed branches over the street. When I called to ask what was going on they inform me that they were only doing a "Safety Prune". That was the first time anyone ever said anything to me about a safety prune or even used that term at all. Root Tree Service refused to come back and finish the job, they took zero responsibility. Who in their right mind would only trim half a tree?! I have huge dead branches over my home, over my powerline, over my garage and they completely ignored all of it. Now I have to hire a different company to come out, close the street and do it all over again. Quotes form other tree companies were only a little more and they were going to do the trees in their entirety. These guys charged almost as much and only did half the damn trees! Here's a quote directly from their website.... "At Root Tree Service, the customer comes first. We want you to have the best experience when dealing with us from first contact, to completion of the job. Too often, customers are left feeling taken advantage of, cheated and disappointed. We have set out to change that! If you aren't happy, the job isn't complete. But don't take our word for it, check out a few testimonials from our loyal customers" Well guess what guys? I'm really super unhappy, I feel cheated and disappointed, all of it. You didn't make it right and the job is incomplete. The above statement is a lie. Enjoy you negative review. I'll be happy to remove it when you come finish the job.

Talking with Rich Fowler for scheduling an appointment to take a look at what we needed worked great. Fast and reliable out of the gate. First Rich took a look at all of our trees, plus fallen logs and old dry broken branches to be removed, he provided photos of what trees were dead or a problem for clearing. He sent the quote the next day with the pictures. Very reasonable cost consideration plus offering great discounts for Yelp users. Yes reasonable discounts for Yelp People!. OK! Rich worked three days straight! RESULTS: our house and property look excellent. He took the extra steps to inspect each tree and determine what needed to be done. He delivered exactly what was promised, arrived on-time and the cost was on budget. Great reliable precision tree service. My highest recommendation. You will not be disappointed at all. Give Rich a call and get those older tress cut and cleared out. The fire department guys will thank you for it.
