Dr. Malia Rasa is a superb pediatrician to our precious daughter. Not all pediatricians will care for your child from the very beginning in the hospital nursery, but she does! From day 1, she has been an excellent pediatrician - she is a genuinely kind and patient physician. We are first time parents so everything is new to us. At every visit, she takes the time to listen and answer each one of our questions and concerns while providing us with her expert knowledge, guidance and reassurance. She is very thorough with her examination and monitoring our child's growth and development. My wife and I like that she gives us a handout of the information that is reviewed at each well child check just in case we forget the helpful tips that she verbalizes (the handout is even specialized with our daughter's growth parameters!) After every visit, we feel well prepared for the subsequent months since Dr. Rasa provides spot-on anticipatory guidance in terms of what to expect with our daughter's speech and motor development, as well as sleep and eating advancements.
Her staff is friendly and always on time. Because of a change in my wife's work schedule, we had to change one of our well child check appointment times and her staff was incredibly accommodating. Her office is well organized and has taken COVID precautions very seriously which has been very reassuring to us as newborn parents. We like the convenient location of her office. The parking can be a little tricky at times (but we quickly learned there's a whole row of parking in the back that is easier to get in and out... and also the parking is free which is nice). read more
