Our family is blessed to have our children cared for by Dr. Waipa and her staff. Dr. Waipa goes above and beyond to write summaries of everything we talked about (it is a lot) when it comes to toddler care. She made me less nervous about my toddler's behavior and explain that some of her behaviors are normal. With my infant, we had issues with eating and although I didn't push to see a specialist she made a referral right away. Her staff is also caring. Whether they are in the room taking vitals or if I am just passing through the hallway to get parking validation - they are always always so kind to my children. Dr. Waipa is caring, practical, and also truthful when it comes to any matters concerning my children. I appreciate how she communicates her honestly with integrity and care. Every visit, they're patient, caring, and genuinely warm with our son, which matters more than people realize when you're dealing with a kolohe toddler. What really impressed us was how accommodating they were. We had a telehealth appointment scheduled, but after noticing a new concern beforehand, the office was able to switch us to an in-person visit the same day without any hassle. No runaround, no stress, just excellent care. They also took care of his ears while we were there, and the whole process was quick, gentle, and stress-free. I wanted to love them. But this office has dismissed all of my concerns for my children and I've repeatedly had to seek other/specialized care and backtrack for referrals. I have multiple examples. They completely missed a severe lip and tongue tie for my infant, all the way through the first year of his life. Even though I directly asked to check for a tongue tie they noted there wasn't one. Just had a dentist confirm and correct a severe lip and tongue tie for the baby I was telling these doctors wouldn't breastfeed or latch well and was struggling with solids but was clearly hungry. They dismissed my concerns for a year until I found the lip tie myself. They also disregarded my concerns with my 3 year olds sleep & never followed through with an ENT referral after multiple requests. I also sought out our own treatment for PT & OT care and had to backtrack to ask for a referral because they didn't do it initially. My oldest had a severe body rash reaction to varicella that lasted over a month and this office tried telling me it was roseola.. also misdiagnosed a mole as a highly contagious rash. It's a water wart or whatever they're called, and not contagious. Additionally, they've switched our primary provider so many times that we've finally decided to find ourselves a new pediatrician all together. Within one year we have seen I think 5 different doctors. Every visit was with someone new. Now in hindsight I read through all of our clinical notes on mychart just to see that our most recent visit was just to collect a paycheck bc the doctor didn't even note ANY of the concerns I brought up. Not one. He didn't even look in my child's mouth when I said he's not swallowing solids at 12 months old. No double check for lip or tongue tie. The documentation was the standard copy&paste. Nothing personalized yet I brought up a number of my concerns. They don't actually care for your child they just want to make sure your kids are vaccinated and nothing else apparently matters. I hope this office chooses better providers going forward. From what I know, Dr. Waipa is great. We liked seeing Mackenzie before she randomly quit and Kaylee was super sweet as well. But overall the quality of care is just not there. I love the ladies at the desk though, theyre 100/10. read more

From the day my daughter was born up until now I really trust Dr. Jasmine Waipa. She's so very caring and fast to respond back to any of our questions. She has not only helped my daughter but she has also help guide us as first time parents. I really trust her knowledge that she gives us with my daughter's growth and every time she gets sick. During each visit, Rosie greets me with a smile and talks to me like I'm family, not just a mom. The MAs are wonderful and do their job with compassion & love. My child's pediatrician is Dr. Rorer & she's amazing. As a first time mom, I'm very anxious and I ask many questions. She's never judged me and reassures me. From doctor, nurses to receptionists, everyone is very friendly and kind, and I love their positive and calm energy in the office. We been through few doctor & NP within last 5 years, and this time we met with nurse Mahie and Kaylee N FNP, they were both great as other nurses/doctors all had been in the past, while they kept the visit positive and fun for both me and my daughter. A great visit to a pediatric office should be filled with smiles and laughters, which we always have with them. I also love the Spruce system they use, which makes it so easy to just quickly text them with a question or problem you have, and they get back to you pretty quick, even any forms you have to fill out for schools. They raved about her so I knew I had to put her at the top of my pediatrician list. During our appointments, I never feel rushed. She would address all my concerns patiently and with a smile. She gave me referrals when I requested - private speech therapist, ENT, etc. Love the decor in the office - very colorful and clean. The office sends a questionaire thru the app, Spruce a couple days before your appointment. This helps speed up the check in process. The staff there are always so pleasant to work with! I also appreciate the messaging app that they have because it's more convenient and they always respond in a timely manner. I brought an issue up with my son's new doctor and she was very understanding and she explained it in a way where it made me less worried. Rexommended by our friends and we cannot be happier with their team. Dr Honda is our pediatrician and she's super nice and approachable. Excellent bedside manner and always answer our questions with patience. What I love the most about their practice is that we can just send them a text message anytime we have any questions (and gosh we do have many as new parents!) and one of the doctors would get back to us pretty quickly. That takes a lot of stress and worry away when we know their team is always there to help us when needed. The office is very clean. They usually have us wait in the car until a room is available so the waiting room is not very crowded. The staff at the front is very friendly and helpful. The only complaint is parking because you have to take the stairs to the lobby to catch the elevators so it can be inconvenient but it's not their fault! read more
