Every single individual I worked with throughout my pregnancy all the way to labor and delivery were simply excellent. The doctors, nurses, and staff were as compassionate as can be and seemed to truly care about my well-being. Also, they were very supportive of all decisions and non-judgmental. I knew I was in good hands for 9 months. My L&D experience was amazing because of the team. They are the kindest humans ever and made a nerve-wracking experience surprisingly easy.

HOWEVER- lately, they have decided to change their policy regarding signing up for your annual appointment. My last annual was in November. I was asked to call them August 1st to schedule my next annual appointment. That seemed unusual to me (to say the least) but okay, fine. So I called them August first. "Well he's not here the day that would be one year from your last visit, so you'll have to call back in two weeks." I was like "excuse me?? You had me wait 9+ months and have to remember to call you and now I have to call you, AGAIN?...ok. So I called them today, for the SECOND TIME. And guess what she said? THE SAME THING. So now I have to call back in the middle of September. I'm sorry but this is absolutely ridiculous. Why can't we just make an annual appointment AT THE TIME WE HAD OUR LAST APPOINTMENT like normal doctors? Like it used to be? I'm very much normally NOT one of those "like the good old days" kind of people but this is an EPIC waste of my time. Even *if* (and that's a STRONG if) I'm able to make the appointment when I call on September 15th, that'll be 1.5 months of calling trying to make this appointment. I'm honestly just going to look elsewhere. I'm not planning on having any more babies, so I don't need the obstetrics side of it. STEER CLEAR.

Since I've been going to her for the last 4/5 years or so I have seen a decline in this office's help & care. I was out of state and had an issue that I needed a script for to be seen by a different care facility and they couldn't have handled it any worse, with slow responses & completely wrong fax information. I've since moved and decided to switch doctors thankfully, and all I need now is for them to fax over my records. Well- that's been as painful of a process as any with them lately as they literally won't answer the phone. During completely open office hours. But I would like to complement Dr. Kristine Klein (who had been recommended by my wonderful primary physician Dr. Holly Cleney). Dr. Klein listened to all my concerns and anxieties, counseled me with great patience, and when time was right performed an elective hysterectomy with great results. Her "bedside manner", patience, and woman-to-woman understanding have been very beneficial to me. This has been a very positive experience (after I had fired 2 other GYNs in a different practice). However, the waiting room was awful - I dreaded the long waits, screaming babies, disorder every time I came there.

The nurse practitioner I saw told me during the first visit that I needed to lose weight in order to get pregnant. I was 140 pounds because the medication I been taking made me gain a little weight. Definitely not a great thing to say to somebody who has suffered from eating disorders in the past. At my second appointment, I was told that since my periods were irregular that if I hadn't gotten it by the next month to call and schedule an ultrasound appointment. The next month I called to schedule the ultrasound appointment. When I got to the appointment a nurse took me in the office and asked what my appointment was for . I explained that my boyfriend and I had fertility issues and that my period was irregular and I was supposed to get an ultrasound. It was almost an hour later that I finally got called into a room. The nurse practitioner walked in with another practitioner and never asked my permission for that person to be in the room. The first thing she says to me is that she noticed my periods were irregular and wondered if I wanted to get on birth control. I asked her why I would get on birth control when I'm trying to get pregnant.. she then decided to schedule me for an ultrasound and sent me back out into the waiting room. By that time, I was just so fed up I walked out. If you're an hour late to the appointment and you don't even know why I'm there for the appointment, I'm not gonna bother with you.
