The office is extremely clean and nicely decorated. There is a TV in the waiting room, as well as bottled water for patients. Ultrasound technicians were amazing. So friendly and personable, and kept me informed during their scans. Even provided me with a disk of all ultrasound photos to update at each appointment. Both Dr. Burstyn and Fickies were wonderful. I saw them both throughout my pregnancy, and Dr. Fickies ended up being on call the day my water broke and performed my C-section. She has a very calm demeanor, but also seemed genuinely excited for us before and after delivery. Dr. Burstyn was at Bellevue every day checking up on me, making sure my incision was healing properly, and also checking up on my babies in the NICU. I cannot say enough great things about this practice, and will continue to visit their office for my annual OBGYN visits.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE. Dr. Elina Burstyn is a…read moredismissive provider who is not client-centered, not empathetic, and doesn't appear to understand the impacts of mental health and its effects on her patients. I never had an issue with PA Haley Decker, but ever since I've seen Dr. Elina Burstyn, all I've had is problems. She considers 120/80 (and close to) as high blood pressure even though it's considered normal. I even talked to my primary care doctor about my blood pressure, and my primary has no concerns at all. Elina Burstyn changed my birth control with no plan in place, changing it only on her opinion that she thought my blood pressure was high, never asking for my opinion or creating a plan to monitor my health. She never explained how the birth control she put me on would affect me. She talked in circles, not being able to explain questions when asked, and acted very offended and rude when asked questions that challenged her opinion or sought out more clarification. Do not go here; you don't deserve to be treated like this. Find a practice that will treat you with kindness, respect, and not medically gaslight you.

For the most I love this office. I think everyone is so nice and welcoming! Any time I've ever had…read moreconcerns or questions they always take care of me or return calls fast. I gave them 3 stars because I'm not a fan at all of Dr. Laura Oswald. I went in for a scare at 32 weeks 4 days pregnant. I started preterm labor and as I'm crying my eyes out to her she's smiling and giggling (which I thought was kind of rude) then she tells me go to the hospital and I will stop by to see you. I was in the hospital for 5 days not once did she come in! All the others did but not her and she was the one who sent me there to begin with! I understand certain drs. Are on-call but the fact I was there for 5 days and she never came in upset me. Not to mention when I went into the office for a follow up which I've been there 3 times since not once has she poked in on me. I feel it's neglectful, rude, and terrible bedside manner. ***Update*** I'd also like to add NP Amy is snooty, always seems to be in a rush, and has no sense of humor whatsoever. If you do not use the correct medical terms or don't word your question properly she will be quick to give an attitude if she doesn't understand you. I went into preterm labor but didn't deliver prematurely I asked "since we got the baby to keep cooking for a little bit longer does that mean I'm at higher risk when I have a second to go into preterm labor?" Her response "well first of all cooking???what does that even mean I don't understand what you mean" with a very rude tone. No ones ever heard of a "bun in the oven"??? She's just not pleasant in my opinion. We want to feel comfortable and safe and maybe get a sigh of relief when we visit these places not feel like you're a bother to someone.

I've been going to this office for years. The doctors that helped me deliver my babies were…read morewonderful and helpful, so no complaints there. HOWEVER- lately, they have decided to change their policy regarding signing up for your annual appointment. My last annual was in November. I was asked to call them August 1st to schedule my next annual appointment. That seemed unusual to me (to say the least) but okay, fine. So I called them August first. "Well he's not here the day that would be one year from your last visit, so you'll have to call back in two weeks." I was like "excuse me?? You had me wait 9+ months and have to remember to call you and now I have to call you, AGAIN?...ok. So I called them today, for the SECOND TIME. And guess what she said? THE SAME THING. So now I have to call back in the middle of September. I'm sorry but this is absolutely ridiculous. Why can't we just make an annual appointment AT THE TIME WE HAD OUR LAST APPOINTMENT like normal doctors? Like it used to be? I'm very much normally NOT one of those "like the good old days" kind of people but this is an EPIC waste of my time. Even *if* (and that's a STRONG if) I'm able to make the appointment when I call on September 15th, that'll be 1.5 months of calling trying to make this appointment. I'm honestly just going to look elsewhere. I'm not planning on having any more babies, so I don't need the obstetrics side of it. STEER CLEAR.

The practice typically has you meet all four doctors who deliver- Dr. Clark, Kasali, Syeda and Clements. After meeting all four, my experiences were as follows: Dr. Kasali as mentioned was Amazing. I needed her positive and uplifting energy as a first time mother. I met Dr. Syeda next at the appt where my Baby's sex was to be revealed...Dr. Syeda callously and harshly informed me that my baby had an echocardiographic focus and that it's typically found in baby's with Down's syndrome. Her delivery of this news was completely unapologetic and lacked any kind of regard for my exciting day and compassion whatsoever, over a situation that after being cleared up with a level 2 scan at St. Peter's, was "nothing to Be concerned about" given my health age and background which was all information dr Syeda had to begin with. I spent two weeks panicked that my baby had Down's syndrome because of her contrite delivery of the news for nothing. dr Clements was an average doctor, made little eye contact and lacked an interest in me as a patient completely and dr Clark as mentioned was very professional and informative. The office manager has no care for your input so don't bother trying to give her any...all in all a very cold clinical arguably below average place to experience pregnancy for the first time, but gets the job done.

Dr. Mcginnis and her…read morestaff in particular Julia corentto NP are very clearly incompetent and I'd be surprised if she worked even a single day in labor/delivery. I have never been treated so poorly. After trying to get in touch with her for 2 weeks because her NP never called to give me ultrasound results, I needed blood work ordered and I had concerns that my nuchal translucency was not scheduled appropriately, I was told she was "out of the office" does no one cover your patients when you're out? What if there's an emergency? Then she proceeded to tell me nuchal translucency scan and blood work is not completed until 16-18 weeks. NUCHAL TRANSLUCENCY MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO 14 WEEKS. Do not let her or the staff tell you any different. Anytime I called very understandably upset with the care they would tell me "You're pregnant and shouldn't be getting yourself worked up like this" and HANG UP. I decided then I'd be transferring to another practice. To which they gave me trouble every step of the way. They called to tell me they attempted to fax my records another OB 3 times and I would need to come get a physical copy and do it myself. When I asked them to fax the records to myself they told me no as I'd need to PAY for my own medical records. By this point my care has been delayed nearly 3 weeks. I call to tell them I'll be coming to pick up a physical copy of my records and I'd need my lab slip so I could get the appropriate blood work done to which they told me it's UNETHICAL for them to order labs for a patient who's planning to leave the practice since they "can't monitor it" and then told me they CANCELED any and all appointments even though I had not yet gotten established with a new OB. It's unethical to order bloodwork, but it's NOT unethical to deny a pregnant woman prenatal care? If I could give this practice 0 stars I would. They should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. If you are seeking rental care go literally ANYWHERE ELSE.
