Across the way, another vendor had a super long line which looked like toture... LOL! I like Avocado Toast in general... and I like corn! So - when I saw Avocado Toast with Sweet Corn Salsa on the menu, I had to try it! I was hoping the salsa wouldn't be too spicy - and it was not! It added a small kick in the flavor! The grilled bread was thick enough to not sag, and it had a slightly smokey crunch! I also got the Iced Green Tea with lemon, honey, mint, ginger, and lime. When we went at 7 pm they still had about 6 options in the case, with the majority being cake rolls. The double cream cookie puff was hands down my favorite and absolutely delicious. Coco puff who? Just kidding, but both are delicious in their own way but I do prefer Malu, especially the dough on the cream puff. The cake rolls were not too sweet and very soft. We tried the strawberry and Okinawa sweet potato, the sweet potato had actual chunks of potato in it. The strawberry had one fresh strawberry and some bits in the piece. The prices were very reasonable, I think we got all 3 for under $14. The worker/owner? was sweet and got everything packed quickly. It's small but there are a couple of tables if you want to eat in, I chose to take home. I want to go back earlier in the day to try some of their other specialties. All were delicious, but the guava jam on the Romeo and Juliet slider stuck out to us as particularly tasty and complementary to the savory Brazilian cheese bread. I would definitely return and look to try more pao de queijo in the future.

Momi Dolce's owner and confectioner is Michelle Serota who is from Brazil and she brings her tradition to Hawai'i. She sells her brigadeiros (pronounced "Bree-gah-day-ro") by 4-pack or 6-pack. Her featured flavors are: -Dark chocolate -Crunchy chocolate with cacao nibs -Coconut (white chocolate) -Passion fruit or lilikoi (white chocolate) -Kauai coffee -Almond All of the flavors are intense but balanced by the premium chocolate and condensed milk used in making them. I suppose one could compare them to ganache that is used in making chocolate truffles. These brigadeiros are creamy and fudge-like though it melts smoothly as you might pop them in your mouth. While looking into the display case, I noticed gold and silver-colored sweets, which turned out to be freshly made Dubai chocolates prepared in-store. The owner kindly explained the production process and ingredients, even offering samples to demonstrate. He mentioned that the pistachio paste is a high-end product imported directly from France. Although the sample was small, it was very sweet with a rich, intense flavor. Listening to him was fascinating, and I could sense his strong confidence and dedication to his business. He also came across as very sincere. That said, Tanghulu is an extremely sticky and sugary candy, so those with sensitive teeth should be cautious. The shop also has a soft-serve machine and dine-in space, making it a great spot for dessert lovers. So Banan is a like a little hut squeezed between a couple of businesses. No seating at all here, so this is strictly takeout. Menu has set combo items, but you can build your own and put toppings on them. I got the vanilla protein and banana flavors with a few toppings (mochi, granola and I think it was some kind of peanut butter choco cookie dough). Both were creamy and tasted just fine. Not bad at all. Price point is a little on the higher side. But not bad for what you're getting. Would recommend.
