Our waitress, Victoria, seated us, got us chips and salsa and coffee and asked for patience as she was obviously getting slammed. She also kept seating and waiting on further arriving patrons and kept the big table happy. Kudos to Victoria-and the cook, whose name I unfortunately don't know. Refried beans need salt and fat badly. Rice is ok but also dry. Now, the star of the show the supposed "chicken" enchilads. Wow in the worst possible way. First, there is not a shred of chicken amongst the unmelted pre shredded "Mexican cheese blend". Not only that but I found a single piece of meat that is not chicken and most likely is pork. Luckily I do not have any dietary restrictions but if you do beware. I may try reheating these terrible excuse for enchiladas later so I can at least melt the cheese and pretend I ordered cheese enchiladas without chicken, which I would never. The enchiladas alone deserve a zero star review. Disappointing. Giving two stars for the fish tacos okness and lady gaga. Will not be back. Do not recommend.

Aside from the friendly staff, and the GREAT food. I only gas up at Maks! Being a driver, I am ALL over the city, but I go out of my way to gas up there because.... The ALWAYS have receipt paper in their gas pumps. The reason that it's a big deal for me is that I have special needs people in my van. I'm so tired of going to all these gas stations that don't take time to put receipt paper in the pumps. If I go anywhere else, I have to make everyone get down, and for some of them it's a chore, to go inside and get my gas receipt. THANK YOU, Maks. I won't gas up anywhere but your location. read more
