Wow! Yum! We got the breakfast burrito with bacon and no cheese. The bacon (x2 pieces) was still crispy and the eggs (x2) light and fluffy. The size was perfect for 8" tortilla, some are so large you have leftovers. No pictures to show as we inhaled them. read more

I've only eaten here once, I had a bacon and egg burrito I guess you have to ask for cheese. It was very bland, there was really no flavor other than the bacon. The hash browns were too mushy for my taste. I really want to give them a chance with their other food but kinda reluctan. Please don't be scared to season your food, this is your life's work. Very delicious!!! Ordered the breakfast burrito special of the day. It consisted of hash browns, egg, cheese and green chili. The burrito was large enough to satisfy, but wasn't overwhelming. We went inside and ordered, the nice man asked us what car we were in, told him, and a pleasant lady brought the food out after a while. It was very busy, so we waited a bit but it was worth every minute! I was astonished that such a hearty burrito was only 6 dollars.... It was a fun experience too. Heard roosters crowing from out back and this place was in the city!! I would definitely return and sample more off the menu, but was only in Pueblo for a short time. read more

I was hesitant to go across town to try this place, but I'm so glad I did! It's a hole in the wall, but those are the best places. The service is quick, although both times I've been there, it's been only me or just one other person. Staff is friendly. The bacon breakfast burrito is scrumptious. The potatoes are not overwhelming, the bacon is crispy which is an absolute plus! The eggs are fluffy, and the chili is so flavorful. Not too hot, not too mild. The burrito itself has a ton of food so it will definitely fill you. For $8, and amazing flavor, you can't beat it!!! Best value for breakfast burritos I have found in Pueblo. I get the daily special every time I come here. $3 and it differs from day to day. Haven't had a bad experience here once and I have come here 5-6 times a month for the last 7 months. I also ordered a dozen tamales for Christmas and they were amazing. Just like grandma used to make. Only complaint I have is sometimes it's hard to reach them when calling in ahead of time. They get extremely busy around brunch/lunch time. Food is amazing though. I love their breakfast burritos, however their customer service is horrible. It's not a place to go sit down and eat. It's a pick up which is fine. However, they NEVER answer their phone. Many times I have called 10 times with no answer just get their voicemail and because of that I drive to Betty's Burritos instead and pick up my order. I'm from out of town so when I come to visit my parents we always try to order from here because we love their food and they are down the street from my parents, but they never answer. So I guess they don't want our business and we typically like to order 10-15 items at a time because we are a big family. But it's now Bettys from here on out. read more

What a treasure in the middle of Pueblo. I was passing through and Yelp pointed me here for the best breakfast burrito in town. Well worth the detour from the interstate. The burrito was big and flavorful. No skimping on the eggs, cheese, potato, and super crispy bacon. This little shack right off of prairie ave is seriously a hidden house of deliciousness! I went there on a Sunday morning after a night out, and the jumbo bacon breakfast burrito with hash browns and green chile was amazing! Seriously hit the spot and some! I was here for breakfast one morning before a day at the state fair. When compared to the inflated prices in the gates for the fried food, this place was truly a paradise. I had a breakfast burrito with pork. It took a little longer than I would have expected to prepare but I suppose I can take some comfort in the fact that it was not pre-made. I was not a huge fan of the potatoes in the burrito. On first taste, they seemed more like rice than potatoes and the cheese could have been a little more plentiful, but for just under $3, this was a treat. I was a bit bothered by the condition of the building. There were some flies around, it was hot, and I suppose I should have been bothered by the fact that the drink cooler looked a bit dangerous. So... Casa de Burritos has good Mexican fare; but, their business hours are limited to breakfast and lunch. If they kept business hours open after 5 pm, they'd be a VERY SUCCESSFUL eatery. Yet, their consistency needs improvement, as they run out of condiments - like chicarones - quite frequently. Some reviews written here are garbage (like the comparison to Del Taco in CA - Del Taco is just a step above Taco Bell - and, don't trust reviews written by millennials who grew up on processed foods). Another observation about Casa de Burritos is their beef-to-refried bean ratio. You need to BE SPECIFIC about wanting BEEF, like it's written on their chalk board menu. A lot less refried beans in a burrito would be quite welcome. Since the business is primarily 'take out,' it is a small (less than 500 sq.ft.) restaurant that needs CONSTANT cleaning attention. Fly strips hanging from the low ceilings (yes, there are many flies) is a very unappetizing way to be greeting customers. The Chicago-style customer service is not good, either. If these complaints were worked upon by Casa de Burritos, they'd get a five-star rating from me. Though, if there were an El Santiago in Pueblo, we'd be eating there. read more

I have been trying breakfast burritos from everywhere in Pueblo lately. CDB does some legit breakfast. I love the green chile and the fact it is vegetarian friendly makes me very happy. I asked for my burrito spicy and he threw in some extra jualapenos which was cool. Great prices for the breakfast burritos but I am never full from one. They do not offer as much as a Bettys, Hanging tree, or a Habeneross. They burrito itself though, is better than most places they compete against and if you can catch them open they do offer tasty food! read more
