Delicious Breakfast Burritos and Great Customer Service! Burritos are large and full of deliciousness!

I have driven past this place many times...glad I stopped in this place is amazing. Very clean inside they sell different style sodas and candy. I ordered a big bacon breakfast burrito it comes with eggs potatoes, green chile and cheese. The bacon is quality bacon not cheap and green chili was fire. Will be back again. This place is so good! Ordering is similar to Chipotle but WAYYYYY BETTER. Food is really good and tastes home-cooked. Service is quick. I wish many years of great business for them!! read more

Nice gals here. But not impressed with the meals at all. We were starving so we finished ours but totally regretted that! Enough said there. Cheapo cheese whizz for my nachos. Completely out of pickled jalapeños so no heat or flavor of any sort. The whole beans were a nice touch but there was no fixing this mess. My gals burrito seemed ok but nah. Overall it's pretty bad for a dinner option. Maybe they excel in breakfast burritos but I'll never know. read more

We came here for one reasonably only. We wanted to be able to eat porkless beans. Bingo! I'm thankful for my fellow Yelpers that once again provided accurate reviews. It's hard enough to satisfy 6 people but this place did it. The spices just make you go mmmmm . There are black beans and pinto beans cooked "in water only" for all of my vegetarian friends. The ordering was a little chaotic but friendly. The locals LOVE this place and that's always a good sign. I typically hate eating at gas stations but seriously, these burritos are worth it. And, there's a small clean, very informal dining area to enjoy your meal that is separate from the customers coming in and out. I would definitely come back here to eat if I needed a quick meal. read more

The BEST tacos and most delicious guacamole (packed with fresh herbs) I've ever had in CO and NM. The women working there were delightful and very friendly. Located in a gas station I have to say the PEOPLE who work here are the best thing this place has going for it. The food was tastey but not amazing. Pretty good burrito bowl. Good flavor and size, just watch for all the extras you get hit you with price wise when you add things such as onions, bell peppers and such. A $7 burrito bowl can quickly turn into a $11 bowl. read more

Dude... this place fuckin' rocks. First of all they lure you in with super modern, minimalist signage, and the whole organic vibe, which is refreshing to see in Pueblo. Then you go in, quick friendly service. The prices are SUPER reasonable. And the food is fucking delicious! Super flavorful breakfast burrito, and beer for $10?! SHEEEEEIT, count me in! Then as you're sitting there wolfing down your burrito you realize... it's also a gas station, which you somehow didn't notice on your way in . Basically somebody took a standard run of the mill gas station and turned into a little hip modern, restaurant/convenience store. The food is like farm-to-table so you'd think the prices would be high, but no. Cheaper than some just regular bust-down ass burrito places. I highly recommend this place for real. Fantastic place, and I highly recommend. Definitely better than chipotle, however my rating is solely on the food served *here*. First, things I loved: the workers there were fantastic. Excellent customer service and friendly. The store was clean. So much flavor in the food that they offer. I loved it. However, I do want to point some things out: While the selection was amazing, I'll admit I was disappointed they didn't have corn tortilla options for their tacos. I mean fresh ones, too. Not the pre-cooked crunchy corn taco shells. I'm talking fresh-off-the-burner or out of the fryer type of tortillas. They don't need to even make the tortillas there, but if they had them it would be amazing. The inside of the tacos I had was PERFECT and so flavorful! I think had the tortilla thing been my only complaint, if have given a higher rating. But I opted to get the chips and guacamole on the side. Wow, the chips were more than a disappointment. Not fresh and overly salty, obviously purchased in bulk. The quality of these chips really downgrades the overall meal. The guacamole was meh, definitely too much lime or lemon and resembles store-bought guacamole to me. It was fair priced for the quality, but I was disappointed. Had I only ordered the chips and guacamole I wouldn't be coming back. This place has so much potential and I hope they take my review to heart. Please, fresh corn tortillas and chips!! The rest of your amazing food deserves for it to be fresh and of just as good quality as everything else you fill your tacos and burritos with! I'll be returning, of course. And I will recommend this place to my friends. So happy we have this awesome place in Pueblo, and I hope my honest review doesn't discourage them. Just got MAKS as take out for dinner and I was really excited to try it. However, first they didn't include our green chili and were not helpful at all when we called about the issue. Second, over half the rice in our dish was either old or over cooked resulting in it being hard. The rest of the food was just flavorless. I love Mexican food, I worked in local restaurants for 5 years and hate to complain about anything but this was pretty much the most terrible restaurant experience I've ever had. I really hope this was just a one time thing. But I won't be back to find out. read more

Oh my god the breakfast burritos are the best anywhere!!! Seriously, there is no comparison to anything else!!! The combinations of whichever one you get, but especially the "Monster Burrito" are insanely good!!! I say those words to myself - LITERALLY - every time I get one!!! I wish they would open up another place in town. Hey MAKS, if you're reading this: "Arribas" on the corner of Thatcher and Pueblo Blvd. closed down about a month ago for an unknown reason. They had been there for years and were always busy. Decent food, but NOT MAKS! It's obviously set up for a restaurant in this location with seating inside, a restroom, freezers and fridges, a drive-up and so on. Go check it out! Great place for a MAKS II! read more

I love coming here. I don't know what it is about Shady areas of town that bring out the best in restaurants but this little spot knocks it out of the park with all the great food they make here. Don't let the neighborhood scare you away! They serve Everything from breakfast burritos to shredded beef tacos it's fantastic food in a convenience store setting. The food here is really good. Everything is made from fresh ingredients. The steak is made when it's ordered and the flavor is very good. The salsa, both hot and mild are really tasty. The tomatillo sauce is also very good. The chips are homemade. This store is a gas station, convenience, and restaurant. There are tables and chairs to eat there or you can take it home. The owner is very friendly. The set up is along the lines of chipolte but the food is way better. The prices are fabulous, making this one of our go to places for date night. read more

This place is great! We were driving through on I-25, and needed a quick stop for food, gas, dog walk, and bathroom. We checked off all four here. It's essentially an old gas station, and they renovated it and installed a chipotle-style burrito counter. There's even an espresso machine. Friendly service, too. To our delight, the burritos were REALLY good. The chicken and veggies were sautéed while we waited, so super fresh. Delicious seasoning on the chicken. And there were 4 salsas to choose from - mild, hot, tomatillo, and roasted corn. This will definitely be our go-to stop when driving through Pueblo. read more

Stopped here on my way through Colorado. The location is also a convenience store/gas station so it should be good if you just want a quick one place stop in Pueblo. Accidentally found this place on Facebook. We were driving home from Colorado Springs and looking for a fast breakfast. The neighborhood looks sketchy but the restaurant is clean and friendly. We had one bacon and one sausage burrito . They have potatoes, eggs and green chili. Not very spicy just really flavorful. Great find and we LOVED these burritos. We even called the order in 10 mins beforehand and the food was ready as we walked in. Perfect! read more
