Was in the area and enchiladas sounded good. First the two ladies working were very sweet and helpful. Walking in there was a smell of some sort, not horrid but not pleasant either. I almost walked out but I decided to not be afraid of a little diarrhea. This is a subway style mexican establishment with the meat and various toppings in a cafeteria style serving bins. The Pico and corn salsa looked as if it has seen better days. While the image of the chicken in its juices stuck with me as I ate the food was not horrible. Pretty on par with many of the Mexican restaurants I have had in Pueblo. They also filled my Togo dish up as I was only able to eat a third of it. Interested to see how it digest tonight and if I toss it or finish it for lunch tomorrow. Three stars might be generous for the food and atmosphere. read more

If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, this ain't it. I got the street tacos, which were a joke, didn't even have cilantro and onion the two main ingredients for street tacos. Tortilla falling apart, the refried beans look like they've been sitting in the same container for the past week. And the steak was so chewy, I've had taffy that was more tender. read more

Oh my goodness. This is our new favorite Mexican eatery. We stopped in and I ordered the special (flautas!) and my fiancé ordered the carne asada fries. They offered him a sample of their hottest chili sauce, which he loved. But it was very, very hot. Like super crazy hot. He loved it, but ordered the next level down on his fries. After ten minutes, when he could taste again, he enjoyed his fries. I loved the flautas and the mild (like the all-the-way-mild) green chili sauce. The employees were super friendly, made everything very fresh and hot, and did a great job overall. Ordered online with time frame of 10-15min. Arrived after 15min and they said they never got an order. So we told them what we ordered, Fajita plate, chicken quesadilla and chips...$37. She went and made a chicken quesadilla, gave no sour cream or pico, 2 shredded chicken tacos that were flavorless and what amounted to two handfuls of stale chips with two tiny containers of salsa. Happened to be in town for a day with my wife, and we by dumb luck decided to step in for some breakfast burritos. We were met with a friendly smile. And the smells in this place almost immediately made me aware that a great treat was up next. Chr took our order and promptly started to cook up a storm. Both my wife and I have to say that these breakfast burritos easily made our top 3 list. We had the 303 and the Colorado Burrito. I had heard some positive comments about this place over the past year and finally decided to try it. I had the enchilada plate and ate in. The food was hot and very fresh and everything tasted homemade. The food did not take long to fix and everything had a really good flavor, especially the green chili and the hot sauce for the chips. There were only two workers there but they were friendly and very efficient. The place was nice and clean. I will definitely eat here again. The only downside is that the prices were a bit high, but the food really is of the best quality. read more

I really wanted to like this place. My husband and I stopped in for lunch. It was noon and we were the only ones there. That should have been our first clue. I ordered a Barbacoa burrito. The meat was heated on the stove in a frying pan and I'm pretty sure the "spice" added was tapitio. My son loves the stuff but I'm not a fan. And that was it for the flavoring of the meat. Which I think they used pork. The burrito itself was ok. Nothing great, lacked flavor. I opted to,have it smothered in the extra hot green chili. The green chili was not very flavorful to begin with and with the addition of red pepper flakes to heat it up, it was more like a pepper sauce. I also couldn't taste the guacamole in my burrito. Not be of the chili, but because it didn't have much flavor. My husband ordered the "purple" breakfast burrito. He did have the med green chili added. He said all he could taste was the retried beans. He wasn't pleased with his burrito any more than I was with mine. The restaurant itself was fairly clean. We decided not to sit in a booth because the fabric was so dirty we were afraid our clothes would get stained. The employees were friendly and nice. With so many other choices in Pueblo, especially for,great green chili, we won't be going back to this place. Which is too bad, like I said, I really wanted to like this place and based in n some of the reviews here, thought we found a gem. Nope. Not here. :( read more

I wanted to really like my burrito but I all I could taste we're beans and jalapeño. I got the purple burrito and there was no discernible texture to it , it was all mush. Worst breakfast burrito I've had in Pueblo $5 each purchased 3 total was $16 and basically received a potato burrito with a smidgen of egg and bacon. The chile added was unnoticeable I could not taste it! Stopped at this spot driving through town. The owner and cook is a super sweet lady. She was very sensitive to the fact that I do not eat meat and made recommendations for me. The sauces were excellent and the beans too. Great Mexican food. Very affordable prices. I would give it five stars but the chairs were all put up, giving the impression that they were about to close. We arrived at 6:15pm. Also the decor is decidedly not Mexican. Would recommend shutting the tv off and playing some Latin music. Other than that, a positive experience overall. read more

Very gross. The food was Luke warm it look like it sat for hours. The carne asada burrito I ordered smothered was so over seasoned that my body body told me don't eat this. The chili was bland almost cold. The chili reallano was pan fried the egg was cracked and stirred with a spoon it was soggy like it was sitting for days no cheese inside. The green chili was so gross. When the girl rang me up for 13$ I was just comfortable I should of backed out. I feel sick now my anxiety is high just waiting for food poisoning. Should I go now and get my stomach pumped or wait? It is the worst food I've ever ate. I should of gone to Taco Bell and got food from the dollar menus. The pinto beans and cheese was good. Never been let down by this fine place. Everything I have eaten here has been good. A lot better burritos than Chipolte and less expensive.

This place is awful for a multitude of reasons. First off, the food attempts an unhealthy topping buffet similar to chipotle, except they are not busy enough to use these toppings quickly and they just appear to be sitting for god knows how long. Then, the staff appeared so indifferent to the fact there were people in the store it took 20 minutes to get our order (we were the only people in the restaurant). Lastly, Their credit card machine didn't work but they told me there must be an issue with my card, I kindly offered to use another card, when they realized it was actually the machine, there was no solution. I had the cash to pay for the meal, which was just dumb luck cause I never carry cash. Finally the food, which was barely palatable and I certainly regret wasting my cash. Pueblo doesn't have a whole lot to offer, but when it comes to convenient Mexican food, avoid this place! read more
