Zubin P.

They Started off the move by driving their moving truck into the neighbors ditch and possibly damaging their property. Had to be towed out of the ditch. After arriving an hour after the time they said they would be their (due to driving into the ditch) that's when it really was not a good move. Mattresses were not protected and were place into the dirty truck and got dirty (new mattresses) Multiple items broken due to not securing boxes correctly on truck. Items were packed in boxes carefully. Lamp shades busted. Washer and dryer not connect at new place. Boxes mostly left on first level and not carried upstairs where they belong. Kitchen boxes clearly labeled placed in master for example. Hardwoods scratched at home while one man dragging furniture across floor without a helper. Took over an hour to disassemble crib. Lots of time wasted standing around. Move took 5.5 hours (previous move took under 3 hours with same amount of items) Owner offered $200 refund to silence my bad review, yet I decided to place it anyways. FYI, it is non-bindable for them to say I can't leave a bad review based on services I was rendered. Way more than $200 damages. Owner proceeded to tell me that I was "holding his head over a barrel" because I was a cheap person to extort him for a refund. Well, I have pictures to back it. Some posted here. Not all inclusive of moving issue. Owner talked to me very unprofessionally. I was extremely courteous to the moving crew and should've not left them a tip, but my wife insisted. I moved with Southeast Moving & Storage last time and had zero issues, which the owner trash talked the other company. Edit: As you can see, the owner stoops to name calling. We had all our items packed. But a mattress needs wrapped with a plastic cover, and it was requested! I never mentioned anything about packing, that was done to a T. And it was a two bedroom and an office with a lightweight desk. So yeah, I have the receipt to prove Southeast job was on par. Also, see where Paul Ridgeway went and left a bad review on my brothers Facebook page (pice for proof) Providing this retaliatory info to my attorney.

Leaky truck

If you like using movers that was 4 hours late the 1st day and 4 hours late the 2nd day, a truck with a leaky roof, if you like some unknown white crap left on your furniture, Paul said don't worry about emptying your dresser drawers then the movers stood them on end and your shit goes everywhere, scratched a refrigerator, tried to charge a extra $300 fee, first night they backed the truck up my drive way at a angle no problems, second night came straight back and gouged the concrete even with a spotter. If you like all of these use these guys

Bed slay laid against wall with no protections. Note the scuff mark where the metal corner meets the wall.

Don't let the nice pictures and descriptions on their website fool you. Also, I believe any of the five star reviews to be false on this website. If you look at the names of the people who have left reviews, you will see that many of these appear to be fake profiles. I'm confident that most of these five star reviews have been made by employees of this company. If you want broken Items, holes in your wall, and charges three times the amount originally quoted, hire these guys. These guys took no care or concern for any of our furniture. Had I not taped up and patted some of our furniture myself, all of the items in our house would have been destroyed. The original quoted time was four hours. The actual time that it took was more than 10 hours. I believe these guys showed up hoping that it was a two bedroom apartment with everything pre-boxed everything prepared and everything in such a way that all that they would have to do is just barely lift a finger to get the job done. They were unfriendly and not helpful. We are currently in the middle of a pandemic called Coronavirus. One of the workers showed up to our house to help my senior citizen mother move with a constant sneeze and cough. However, he did not have a mask nor did he have gloves nor did he take any care with covering his mouth as he sprayed his germs all over our belongings. Making moves needs to make moves to better train their employees, better secure items and take seriously the health of the people around them. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. We regret inviting them into our lives.

They refuse to replace items that were damaged in the move or return phone calls. Very poor business!

COOKEVILLE/ CROSSVILLE is where they came from; this was not a crew from Chattanooga…read more I have never left a negative review due to believing ppl generally do the best they can & we all have bad days; however this is a warning if you care at all about your things. When I called for my estimate I repeated several times how heavy my things are; even mentioned that everyone who has ever moved me says it's the heaviest they've ever moved. So when my 2 men show up my size my heart sank, but I thought some of the strongest men I've known weren't very big; however these guys were also very young & clearly inexperienced. I decided I would just have to help & maybe this will prevent mishaps. For the 2 largest items I suggest they take out the drawers to decrease the weight; they told me they didn't need to; I mentioned everyone else has taken the drawers out; he said they didn't need to. They barely got the dresser out (wall is pictured) drawers are easily close to half the weight of this dresser. Eventually they became concerned about the weight of my buffet & called 2 more men changing my rate from $165 to $265, but ok if that's what we need to get there. Again I suggest removing the drawers on the buffets; but nope they know what they're doing. In the end a 6 foot Christmas Nutcracker was broken (no pics because they offered to dump it) my antique vanity, I'll say came apart because they told me how I can glue it back (smh) & broke the slab of TN marble that went on the vanity (pictured). While making the damage report they kept asking for the make & date..clearly no knowledge of how valuable antiques are & why they are valuable (impossible to replace) but according to them they're going to find me another piece of TN marble & the pulled apart bottom half was on me to repair (smh). In the end my buffet did not make up to my new place and they're solution to this was delivering it to anyone I could find OR they will SALE it for me and give me the $. Imagine something dear to you just pretty much being taken away, but what could I do. The buffet is what I used for my largest TV so I ask if we can get 1 of the tables we'd already put in my storage unit to set the TV on & they said yes. I didn't go to my storage unit to watch what they were doing, but when I went to put something in there later I see they have now put a very heavy chair partially on the only part of this antique vanity they haven't broken (top half) and the leg of this chair is running through my box spring (pics). I put the heavy chair in the storage unit myself due to wanting to make sure it didn't damage other items & damn if they didn't do it after all. So in the end I have all these damaged items & the bed they kept saying they we're going to put together for me to sleep on did not get put together; maybe this was due to my time running out, but overhearing the team lead telling them to slow down & quit being so fast made me think I was good on time. I was told I'd be compensated for the damage & the price over all was reduced a little. The guys were super nice until everything really went left; I'm not angry at them personally; in fact they would have to admit I was a very good sport saying repeatedly "I don't love anything that can't love me back". This crew were just clearly not the 4 men & a truck for this job.

We had two previous buyers pull out of contract, so as a result we have had to cancel our move twice. I understand how this can be frustrating for a business. I myself was frustrated and very sad that our house did not sell and we were having to cancel our move. Much of my communication with these movers was via text; therefore, I canceled our move via text, which I will post below. As of this week, our house is selling--a huge blessing right at Christmas time! With this news, I reached back out to southeast movers to book. Unfortunately and to my surprise, whoever I was speaking with was very rude with me and accused me of never canceling our previous move, so he was aggressively refusing my business. Honestly, I have never been spoken to like this from anyone, especially not from someone who may be trying to run a business and gain customers. I can understand if a company cannot work with me because of previous cancellations; however, you do not need to be rude or ugly. There is a respectful manner to discuss things like this. I am posting proof of my cancelation with the 667-7569 number, which is still one of their active numbers. I would like to end by saying that I know this can be a stressful time of year and that everyone has bad days and is deserving of grace. When you are running a business, how you treat people is everything. And because of our encounter today, I was forced to take my business elsewhere. ETA: I am posting my review here from Google because the photos attached to my original review were deleted, leaving my feedback without photo evidence supporting my claims. Truly, my only intentions here are accountability and preventing others from having the experience I have had.

Factors that lead to the job being much longer than necessary. After two broken promises, David said he'd take an hour off the bill ($125.) Then he communicated with his team, and due to their poor management, they broke their word from start to finish, and then took back their offer to take an hour off the bill. Very shady. Unreliable, undependable, and poor business ethics. I wouldn't ever use them again, nor recommend them to my worst enemy.

Candidly, I've never had a positive experience with other moving companies I've used in the past, and I was a basket case of stress in the weeks leading up to move day. This crew was phenomenal and made the whole experience easy and FUN. They were super efficient yet took so much care in protecting all my belongings, I felt like a genuinely valued customer. They were clearly experienced pros and they were so personable! The whole process from beginning to end was next level: I'm a bit neurotic, and Clint from the booking team included every single detail I wanted in the notes and made sure my move was set up for success. Anthony on their customer support team was super proactive about keeping me updated, and Anna is a truck driver HERO. The mountains around Chattanooga are a fiasco.... Trucks get stuck and tip over on a regular basis but she navigated the mountain like a BOSS. And the platform..... Getting my own dashboard with all my important move day information in ONE PLACE is literally revolutionary - Who knew moving companies are evolving with technological advancements?! It was so great and timesaving to not have to search through emails to find info. I particularly enjoyed "meeting my team" ahead of time and getting to review + tip afterwards via my customer dash. Very clever concept and whoever developed the platform is a straight up genius. Love seeing a moving company care about their customers so much they work to revolutionize an industry that is not traditionally known for providing a great customer experience. I loved the whole process. I can't thank this team enough - You have definitely made me a lifelong Bellhop fan!

Extremely disappointed with my experience using Bellhop in Atlanta…read more My move on May 31, 2025 was quoted at $837. But after the job, I was blindsided with a final bill nearly double that -- over $1,800 -- without any real-time communication or approval from me during the move. There was no transparency. I was never informed as the charges climbed. On top of that, the movers showed up completely unprepared, with nothing but a single Allen wrench and no tools or proper equipment. I had to hire outside help just to finish the job. Their disorganization directly caused the delay, not me. Several of my belongings were damaged during the move, including irreplaceable furniture. I submitted a claim and was promised a $449 settlement. But instead of issuing a refund, Bellhop applied it as a credit toward the inflated bill -- and only if I agreed to lift my credit card dispute. That's not a resolution -- that's coercion. I offered in good faith to pay the original quoted amount, which I believe was generous considering I had to finish the move myself and cover the damages. Bellhop refused to compromise or take accountability. If you're looking for a company that values professionalism, preparation, and fairness -- I strongly recommend you look elsewhere. My experience was stressful, expensive, and completely mishandled from start to finish.
