Extremely disappointed with my experience using Bellhop in Atlanta. My move on May 31, 2025 was quoted at $837. But after the job, I was blindsided with a final bill nearly double that -- over $1,800 -- without any real-time communication or approval from me during the move. There was no transparency. I was never informed as the charges climbed. On top of that, the movers showed up completely unprepared, with nothing but a single Allen wrench and no tools or proper equipment. I had to hire outside help just to finish the job. Their disorganization directly caused the delay, not me. Several of my belongings were damaged during the move, including irreplaceable furniture. I submitted a claim and was promised a $449 settlement. But instead of issuing a refund, Bellhop applied it as a credit toward the inflated bill -- and only if I agreed to lift my credit card dispute. That's not a resolution -- that's coercion. I offered in good faith to pay the original quoted amount, which I believe was generous considering I had to finish the move myself and cover the damages. Bellhop refused to compromise or take accountability. If you're looking for a company that values professionalism, preparation, and fairness -- I strongly recommend you look elsewhere. I want to start by making it very clear that my issue is with Bellhop Moving as a company and not with any of the loading, driver, or unloading teams who supported my move. Bellhop's communication is atrocious. They are extremely responsive when you are working to schedule a move and then it falls apart. I schedule a cross-country move with Bellhop, and at 5:30am on the morning that my 2800 mile move was set to begin, I received a text message saying that the move was being rescheduled to the next day. We had a flight booked that night and rescheduling (especially with 3 hours notice) was not an option. After an hour of trying to get a hold of customer service, I managed to talk to someone about pushing the move to early afternoon as long as we would still make our 10pm flight. The move was reconfirmed for 4pm. I followed up several times throughout the day, eventually learning the truck was now delayed and would be arriving at 5pm. This delay was not communicated to the assigned loading team who showed up to my home at 3pm. At 5pm, the truck was nowhere to be found, I had no contact information, and Bellhop's customer service was now Closed for the night despite my move not being completed for the day. After tears and an hour of panicked calls, emails, texts, etc., the truck showed up at 6pm. It just so happened that I received a call from a Bellhop team member within 2 minutes of the trucks final arrival to tell me they had arrived. I did not hear any updates from Bellhop over the 4 days that the moving truck made its way across the country, nor confirmation that the unloading team was assigned and on schedule to meet the truck. In the end, Bellhop blamed our truck driver for being uncommunicative instead of taking any responsibility for the terrible coordination. For over $11,000, I expected much better service and to avoid a total moving panic for once... guess that was a lofty dream. read more

If you want to get screwed over and have an awful moving experience then go with Bellhop. They handled my last move and the movers just didn't unload part of my sectional couch. So now I have a sectional I can't use. If you try to contact the company you can't ever speak to a real person. It's all a machine. It's been over a month since I moved and I still have yet to talk to a real person. They sent a crap email stating that the movers checked with me before leaving and nothing was missing. Which is COMPLETELY FALSE. They haven't tried to help at all. So I guess they just threw away the part of my couch I needed. I didn't get reimbursed for it or have anyone care at all. I had to go buy a new couch and still had to find a way to get rid of my unusable sectional. I would strongly discourage anyone from using Bellhop as a moving service. I contracted with Bellhop last November for a February 15, 2024 local move in Richmond, Virginia. Up until the time of service, I was inundated with marketing emails, texts, and phone calls with to-do lists and 'concierge services.' On the day of the move they sent a 21-year old college senior and an 18-year old football player (both great, and hardworking young men). The third guy, Steve, was a no show. The truck showed up 90 minutes late. The kids clocked in at 8:37 am and started carrying things out to the driveway. Around 9:40 the football player, Dante, asked if his wife, who was sitting in his car in front of my home, could help. She was also lovely but her assistance was marginal at best. Fast forward, and a 6 hour move became a 9-1/2 hour move, for which I was initially charged another 45-50%. Nearly every piece of furniture was scratched up, and Bellhop agreed to pay me $303 for literally thousands of dollars of damages. Suddenly, Bellhop acknowledged they were merely a portal and not a moving company, and it was all about the contract, not the experience and certainly not the brand promise. Hi, my name is Andrea and I'm a single woman who booked Bellhop movers as I had no one local who was able to help me. I was hoping that by paying over $700 for a move that I would have all the help I needed. That was not my experience. I was moving a bedroom (including bed and dresser), kitchen table and bench, wicker patio furniture, a few bookshelves and boxes. It was not a full home move - no living room furniture, no washer/dryer, only one bedroom, etc. My Bellhop movers joked as they packed my items in the truck that the 26-foot truck was definitely overkill, that it would be a super easy and quick move, and we would be done very quickly. My belongings were going into a storage unit as I'm in a temporary living situation. The movers would not have to navigate moving my items into a new home so again, they joked it would be quite easy. My storage unit was about half full so I told my Bellhop movers before we left the house I was moving out of that I would need some help stacking items in the storage unit so we could ensure all of my belongings would fit. When we arrived at the storage unit the team lead, Dwayne Miller, changed his attitude immediately. He looked at me with anger and disgust and said, "What are you doing? This isn't going to work! We have a 26-foot truck out there, we can't fit all this in! What are we doing here?" I reminded Mr. Miller that I had informed the team that my storage unit was about half full and had asked them to help me stack items properly so we could fit everything in. I also reminded him of his own statement that the truck was not anywhere close to half full. Mr. Miller continued to speak to me with irritation and indignation, saying "This is not going to work. I don't know what you're thinking. You're going to have to figure something else out. We can try to consolidate, but it won't be enough." He's the moving professional, so I began to panic. The storage place was closed, so I reached out to a friend to ask if he had any space in his storage unit and he kindly responded that he did. Luckily, the unit was only 8 minutes away. I informed Mr. Miller of this and he said, "Text me the address" dismissively and angrily. I asked for his cell phone number. He said, "What is wrong with you? I sent you a confirmation text this morning." I had forgotten, but I found it in my texts. Mr. Miller then demanded I text him the access code to the storage unit, which I was uncomfortable with, but his anger had me really quite frightened. I was a woman alone, and this man had become very angry with me. Mr. Miller and his cohort had stacked a few boxes but they did a terrible job, so I decided that I would try to consolidate my storage unit on my own. I began moving bookshelves, dressers, boxes, lifting heavy items over my head on my own and by the time Mr. Miller arrived back at the unit with some of my items I had properly consolidated everything. Mr. Miller and his cohort continued to bring items in but they were not stacking properly according to weight and so everything would fit, so I had to direct them where to put items. As it became clear that everything would indeed fit in my storage unit, Mr. Miller approached me and said that he had been wrong. I appreciated the sentiment, but it didn't do me much good as I had already done the work myself. I told him that he had really frightened me and he replied that he didn't feel he had done anything wrong and that's not who he is. I'm sure that's not who he is, but I have no other information to go on other than how he treated a single 41-year-old woman who had hired professional moving help and received anger, dismissal and a refusal to do the job properly in return. I cannot express how stressful and scary this experience was for me. I cannot in good faith ever book Bellhop again because I cannot be sure that I will receive the help I paid for and more importantly, that I will be safe. I would give them a million stars if I could! Josiah, Jesse, Michael, and Evan are a move day dream team. Candidly, I've never had a positive experience with other moving companies I've used in the past, and I was a basket case of stress in the weeks leading up to move day. This crew was phenomenal and made the whole experience easy and FUN. They were super efficient yet took so much care in protecting all my belongings, I felt like a genuinely valued customer. They were clearly experienced pros and they were so personable! The whole process from beginning to end was next level: I'm a bit neurotic, and Clint from the booking team included every single detail I wanted in the notes and made sure my move was set up for success. Anthony on their customer support team was super proactive about keeping me updated, and Anna is a truck driver HERO. The mountains around Chattanooga are a fiasco.... Trucks get stuck and tip over on a regular basis but she navigated the mountain like a BOSS. And the platform..... Getting my own dashboard with all my important move day information in ONE PLACE is literally revolutionary - Who knew moving companies are evolving with technological advancements?! It was so great and timesaving to not have to search through emails to find info. I particularly enjoyed "meeting my team" ahead of time and getting to review + tip afterwards via my customer dash. Very clever concept and whoever developed the platform is a straight up genius. Love seeing a moving company care about their customers so much they work to revolutionize an industry that is not traditionally known for providing a great customer experience. Booked Bellhop in Chattanooga area for 9am on Sept 11th for unloading help. Joshua called the afternoon before to confirm, stating he was a small guy who couldn't lift things very heavy, some things may have to be disassembled. After we drove all night from out of state, we received a message at 9:11, 11 mins after they were to be there, "that one of the moving pros called in." While we understand things happen, and we were offered the next day as an option, moving usually involves a time crunch, which we had. To make it "up to us", we were offered 25% off our next reservation. While we appreciate a discount, being offered a small discount for this trouble is really disappointing. And did nothing for the fact we couldn't wait for another time. read more

We made a reservation a week before we moved. Everything was set up and ready for a Saturday move. We had to be out by Monday. The Bellhops were supposed to be at my house at 9am. On Saturday at 10am, I called the 1-800 number to find out what was going on. The said they have a 30 minute window to be there. I said it has been an hour. She put me on hold. When she came back on the phone, she said there was an incident. They would not be coming and I had to reschedule. The soonest would be Monday. Well people work during the week and I had it scheduled for the weekend. So now I have to find something in less than a day. No call and no show from them. They also charged my card. I wouldn't use them because they will not guarantee your reservation. read more

Disastrous move by unmanaged and untrained children. They caused far more damage than even the outrageous price they tried to skewer me with after their movers took excessively long, half of them left the job site mid-way through, and they broke or damaged more than 10 different items and parts of our homes. They arrived in an unmarked, crappy truck, and clearly had no idea what they were doing. When one of them broke my glass desk and cut himself, they didn't even have a med kit on that truck! HIRE THIS COMPANY!!  I used Yelp to get a bid on a local moving job for the Knoxville area. We wanted it done ASAP. It went out to about five moving companies (this was on Saturday)  Within 10 minutes Ky from Bellhop at the Chattanooga office called me. Bellhop was the first to respond. Ky was so nice and extremely courteous. He helped us figure out what we needed. The price he quoted was a good fair price. Because of Ky we immediately felt confident and agreed to hire Bellhop. We received a confirmation for the job on the same day. Next day (Sunday) we got a notification with the pictures of our movers who were Alec and Austin. Alec also texted us to confirm the time etc. Alec and Austin arrived on Monday at our storage unit ON TIME and ready to work. They loaded the truck and we drove to our apartment. Let me tell you Alec and Austin were incredible. They worked their butts off NON STOP. We are on the third floor with TWO SETS OF STAIRS. They brought everything up with a smile and always asked us where we wanted things placed. We saw Alec carrying two very heavy large boxes at a time (like they were empty!) Me and my husband were shocked and impressed with the strength and stamina Alec and Austin had. And they did it in such an upbeat courteous friendly manner. They were fast too.  Nothing was damaged either no walls touched, no floors scratched. PERFECT! They were able to get heavy items up the stairs we thought we were going to have to leave behind and they were so nice about doing it! They made an incredibly stressful move stressless for us!  We are 100% happy with Bellhop and will definitely use them again. Ask for the team Alec and Austin. INCONSISTENT QUALITY OF SERVICE. Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience with Bellhop moving on Friday December 18, 2020. I had heard positive things from a good friend but the team we were assigned to did not provide the level of service anyone would expect from a moving company. When the team was breaking down furniture and moving to the truck I noticed they were not wrapping each piece, especially very expensive furniture pieces you'd expect to be wrapped. They also were mainly using plastic wrap for pieces and did not wrap anything in moving blankets. I tried to call that out to the lead but unfortunately I continued to see furniture unwrapped and all I could do was take pictures and hoped my furniture would get there in the same condition it left in. As they were moving furniture out of the townhome we were renting, they made holes in a bedroom door and large pieces were chipped away in the door frame and we are now in the process of having it all replaced in a time crunch given our lease ends 12/31/20. The team was not able to fit all my furniture in 2 trucks even though I had given a pretty accurate item list twice. They did have to make another trip back to the townhouse which led to added time to the move and loss of one mover to help move furniture into the new house. We also had ZERO boxes to move and ONLY furniture so we were expecting things to go much smoother and quicker than they did. The second part of the move was more stressful than the first part of the move. I saw my nice and treasured furniture coming into the house wet, dirty and damaged. The plastic wrap they sparingly used didn't service much of a purpose at all. When I approached the team members and the lead, I was given unacceptable responses including: - If they wrapped every piece, they would be here until 9 pm and they only had until 4 pm as scheduled and if they went over I would pay more but they would get penalized. - They ran out of plastic wrap but it wasn't their fault, it was headquarters fault and I should complain to them. Throughout the move in process, I stood for hours to communicate to team members to make sure they were moving the furniture to the right rooms and set up properly but unfortunately the team members didn't communicate with each other and I had to request they move things around multiple times. At around 4 pm, when they were supposed to be done, the lead and team was about to head out even though my master bedroom still had furniture wrapped and out of place. I had to request them to unwrap and properly place the furniture before they left. I found the basement also had furniture scattered and still partially wrapped. One of the team members understood how upset and frustrated I was and he did apologize and asked his team members to help get everything set up in the basement. The cherry on top to this unforgettable moving experience was that my husband went back to the townhome where our furniture was moved from and found 2 unfinished rolls of plastic wrap (clearly they didn't run out) and also found a moving blanket with a shattered mirror that was not even ours to begin with. I am also still looking for parts to furniture that are missing because they were not properly reassembled (ex. cords to couch for auto recliner) and I have pieces of furniture (legs, cords, etc.) that I now have to figure out where they came from since they were not used to reassemble as they should have been. Based on my experience, I can attest the "move forward, leave anxiety behind" motto is NOT TRUE. I also do not believe the team provided "exceptional customer service" as noted in Bellhop advertisements. As a professional myself, I understand errors and issues happen and it is all about how you resolve it and prevent it from occurring again next time. I am sending a letter to the CEO of the company so he is aware of the type of service his customers are receiving. I truly hope no other family has to go through this experience especially during the holidays when it should be a happy and stress/anxiety free time. read more

Recently moved within the city and needed help with my furniture. In the midst of a pandemic, felt better about pros than family or friends. This is just the second time I've used a moving company. Bellhops was on time. There wasn't a window, it was 2 pm and the guys, William and Jacob, showed up at 1:57. My move was just furniture for the most part. Since it was in the city and there was no rush to get out of my old place, I took care of the little things. My bed was a pain to break down and set back up, but they did not get frustrated. Fought through it and we're very professional. They completed the move early and I was only billed for total time elapsed. I liked that a lot obviously. Nothing got lost and they put everything exactly where I wanted it without a hint of issue. Fantastic customer service. Everything from schedule to completion was easy to use and at excellent value. Long distance move from NJ to Ooltewah, TN. I requested two 26' trucks and labor to load. There was no boxing to be done, and the furniture was disassembled. Two 26' trucks arrived but by the end of the day one was never loaded due to insufficient manpower. The first truck was about 2/3rds packed before the manpower left for the day, and the truck departed for TN. I was left with a house full of furniture. One item so befuddled the three Bellhop loaders they simply left it blocking a bedroom doorway.... The second day another truck arrived, some furniture was loaded, and then left for TN. The furniture which was loaded was unprotected and literally every item of furniture was damaged, scratched, gouged, scraped, etc. I have pictures. (I was offered $700 in restitution) This experience rivals the horror stories one reads about. I am numb with anger. To be fair, the truck drivers and unloaders in Ooltewah were great.... But loading was a fiasco. read more

If I could I would take out a television ad to warn people not to use this company. The most unprofessional moving company I have ever used in my career. They damaged every piece of furniture I own. The movers did not wrap any of my furniture and did not let me know they were packing my furniture that way. When I contacted them about the damage they offered me less than $300 for my damages. They cut the back of a $6,000 leather couch. That is just one of the items they damaged. Their response was a insulting and their customer service was horrible. Bellhops was awesome! The guys were nice and worked very quickly. We had a pretty small box truck to move into and we weren't sure we could get everything in, but the Bellhops guys have done more moves than us and have been trained on how to pack things into a truck, and they put it together perfectly like a puzzle and got all of our stuff in the truck. I'm not sure we could have done it without them! The only snag in the whole thing was that one of the original two movers didn't show up on time at 8 AM, the other guy called HQ and Bellhops had another guy on the scene by 8:20 AM. It was amazing how on top of that situation they were and how quickly they resolved it. We also got a discount on the move even though it didn't cost us any real time. I will definitely use Bellhops for future moves and would recommend them to anybody. read more

KEEP LOOKING! Honestly, the movers were very nice but they had to be reckless and careless. OMG-The number of things they BROKE is unbelievable. Dragging my Restoration Hardware kitchen table and headboard ACROSS the bare wood floors, WTH! Sadly, it took a few hours to even realize the flat screens TVs the movers assured us they would 'take good care of with extra padding' ended up broken. From my perspective, I think I could've hired laborers from the front of Home Depot who would've moved my stuff with more care. What I learned in the end was the worst part Bellhops is nothing but a mega third-party corporation that makes you pay a professional moving fee just to send you random laborers off the street, later refusing to standby any of their work. Sorry Bellhops, I don't think you can offer additional help. The order is under my legal name, Dean. On packing day, the packing crew was late. My schedule said 8 - 9 a.m. At 9:05 a.m., I contacted BellHop, who said that the packers should be at my house shortly. Then I heard that the packers (from FastTrack Moving) were "delayed by traffic" on their trip up from Chattanooga, TN (180 miles away - Were there no packers available closer?) and they would be at my house at 10:30 a.m. At 10:20 a.m., the packers called and said that they would be at my house in 45 minutes. They arrived at 12:15 p.m. We had ordered special large boxes (through BellHop) for our large television and 2 large oil paintings. Two of those boxes showed up the day after the packers were there. The packers cannibalized other boxes to cover the paintings, which left them short of boxes. Instead of telling me that they were short of boxes so that I could buy more, they asked me if I wanted them to "use all of the cardboard". The packers also ran out of tape. They did not let me know that they were running out until they were out. They used a roll of my wife's art tape that they found somewhere that does not stick well to cardboard. Bottoms fell out of wardrobe boxes, so the movers turned them upside down. They packed things that I did not want packed. They wrapped a fully loaded wine rack in shrink wrap, which would have broken inside the truck if it had even made it that far. They broke stuff as they packed it or packed stuff so that it would break during moving. read more

I scheduled Bellhops to move several items to my new home in St Louis. I only moved a bedroom suite, a recliner, and some boxes. I coordinated with my rep a specific list of items that were to go. The movers brought an item that was not on the list and then left my recliner. They did not bring the hardware for my bed although it was packaged together. And then the debited the wrong credit card for me and now after 7 days when I was promised my refund- I still don't have it. Totally disappointed with this company. read more

I called Bellhop to disassemble doing room furniture, and transport to our garage and lower den. I taped the glass doors shut on the curio, and my husband provided the proper wrench for them to take apart the dining room table. They also moved a smaller table, a sideboard, and 6 dining room chairs. Cergio and Emil arrived right on time at 8:00. Very nice young gentlemen. The transported my dining room furniture with great care, and all went without a hitch! I will certainly call Bellhop in the future! read more

This company is one of the worst operating here in the world! 1. They misquoted our move by $1,000.00 approximately. 2. Lead guy seemed totally blindsided by contents of the items to be moved. Therefore, sales has a disconnect with the moving team. 3. Sent un-trained moving staff: * 4 out of 5 men arrived half to one half hours late * Didn't wear gloves on lightly colored upholstery * Pushed and dragged furniture across brand new wooden floors * Didnt wrap all upholstered furniture * Didn't wrap mattresses, placed them in street and transported in dirty truck * Damaged walls, both houses * Damaged entry door * Damaged by gouging (4) wooden steps on staircase. Overheard immediately afterwards wow not too much damage on this move... * Didn't wear shoe protection covers inside of home with white carpeting and tracked and stained carpeting * Didn't work diligently as a team. Where one or two would be working and the other three were standing around * Damaged a very expensive dining room table over $5,000.00 just for the table. Informed the moving team to be very careful with and still they damaged the edge of the table top. * In a sentence - they don't even know what they don't know. They're not trained. I called two times with my concerns that morning at 9:15 am to Bellhop to cancel the move when only one mover showed up on time. The lead man wasn't there yet until a 1/2 hour after the start time at 9:00 am. Sales team that morning lied to me and said I would receive a call from their customer service department. No one called all day, the following day, or for that matter even ever. I should have just told the lead guy that it's cancelled when he arrived, we would have been further ahead by not dealing with the grief and over $10,000.00 expense on damages! However, what is one to do when you're vacating a house so that the buyers can move in the next day? Afterwards dealing with the Customer Service Team finally post move was even a greater hassle and annoyance. They're polite, and appear caring, honest, sincere, professional and sympathetic about your financial damages, yet their hands are tied by all of the ineffective policies and lack of procedures that they don't have in place. This next comment is going to appear pompous but take it for what it's worth. If I lived in public housing this company is unqualified and not fit to move a bag of groceries to my new residence. We are a hardworking, professional and very financially blessed couple. We moved from a $750,000.00 townhouse to a home over $1,000,000.00. I illustrate this point because, I guarantee that you will have the worst experience imaginable with this unqualified moving debacle of an entity that doesn't even deserve to be labeled a company or business. Definition of the word - company: a commercial business Quality is important to businesses but can be quite hard to define. A good definition of quality is: "Quality is about meeting the needs and expectations of customers" Customers want quality that is appropriate to the price that they are prepared to pay and the level of competition in the market. We have gone 4 rounds with customer service back and forth trying to resolve our damages. $200.00 just doesnt seem to cover over the $10,000.00 of damages that we had incurred plus their bill on so called moving services. As well as, phone calls to our credit card company for disputing unauthorized charges by Bellhop. We're done! With wasting anymore if our time on this fiasco. However, if we can spare any other person, couple or family from the emotional and financial stress of this experience. Then we have helped them. They were fast, and very accommodating! Even cleaned out some cabinets I was not able to get to before they showed up - On Time!!

This was my first move with Bellhops, and I've moved 20 times with various companies, some good, some great, some terrible. Bellhops wasn't a great experience. The billing was not explained and was very confusing. You aren't told there is a separate driver for the truck until the email comes the day before the move introducing your bellhops. None of the furniture is wrapped in your house, it's all wrapped on the truck, so you never see how well it's actually protected and I had a couple of pieces with damage. I asked for my dining table to be loaded first and they took it out and left it sitting unwrapped on the wheel well of the truck, where it had a gouge taken out of it. I also had a wood bookcase with damage. We haven't unpacked yet so don't know if I'll find anything else. The company also put an almost $800 hold on my checking account, tying up all my money, which didn't make me happy. I was told by the lead bellhop, Alex, I'd get an email soon after they left to finalize payment so expected it within 30 minutes. Two hours later I hadn't received it so called was sent a screen shot of what my charges were supposed to be, which was $200 less than the bill I got almost 24 hours later. I called again and was given an adjustment on my bill for all the issues. The only reason I gave the company 2 stars was because of the speed and hard work of the guys (even though they did damage a couple of pieces of furniture it was fairly minor in the grand scheme), the friendliness of the driver, and the final customer service agent. Bellhops was recommended by one of my clients, but I would not recommend them myself. read more

I have never been so disgusted with a business in my life. We were moving our office. Some items were going to a new office, some were coming to our house and some to goodwill. They quoted me $189 an hour. The two man crew showed up on time. That was the high point. They loaded the truck incorrectly. They told us after the truck was loaded that they had to leave but another crew would be be meeting us at the first stop, which was the goodwill drop off site. We waited an hour in 98 degree heat. No one ever showed up. The truck driver didn't know what the problem was because he was contracted by Bellhop, but was not their employee. It finally turned out after about a dozen phone calls, that no one could be located to come and complete the move. They had to store the loaded truck overnight and get a crew to finish the move the next day. Then, to top it all off, they charged me $2700 for a move that took 5 hours! After many communications with their quality assurance manager, they refunded approximately $1000. The manager said the total cost of the move was $911. She said they were going to give me a 25% discount, but she cannot show me on a statement where she did. At minimum, they owe me $700. She says the problem must be with my credit card company, even though I sent her a detailed email showing all of the charges they made and what they have refunded. Folks, it just doesn't add up. She has refused to give me the name of her supervisor. I have never had to deal with someone in a business who cannot add and subtract. They have lied to me and stolen several hundred dollars which they refuse to refund. I am now going to have to file a dispute with my credit card company and take them to small claims court, which won't be hard because I am an attorney. P.S. Terrible experience: I reserved a team to help us move, and then called and confirmed over the phone the day before, and also had confirmation in the system and email. Then, on the day of the move, they were a no-show. No email, no calls, nothing, just waiting. When I called to inquire, I was informed that "the system" canceled our order, without notice - leaving us in the lurch. read more

Where do I start? First of all had to search where to leave a review in this day and age on constant customer feedback. Interesting they don't want to hear any feedback. When I called customer service to file a complaint got a text message about the service, rated it a zero and got no response. The actual day of the movevwas a disaster. Showed up late (total of 5 guys with 4 of the 5 showing up late with the last one showing up 1.5 hours late). Damaged the walls in the house moving from because they did not remove the legs of the sofa as instructed. Didn't order a large enough truck so I had to order another truck and drive it myself. Damaged a glass top for a dining room table by rolling it up the front sidewalk. Damaged the wood floors of the new house by sliding furniture across the floor. Damaged walls in old house by banging the furniture into wall. Soiled white carpet in new house by not wearing footies on shoes. The worst of it was the glass table top which will cost over $1,000 to replace and they offered us $200 because workers "weren't professional". Unless you plan on damaged furnishings/house and going to small claims court I would never use them. read more

WOW! I needed last minute moving help, and Bellhops were so easy to book online! They have the friendliest customer service I have ever talked to. The two guys who moved me out were so cute and polite! I love that the company hires students from the local community. My favorite part was the confirmation email that sent pictures and information about my bellhops. It made me feel very comfortable. USE THESE GUYS THEY ARE INCREDIBLE! read more

Horrendous experience!! 45 minutes before the movers were to arrive I received a text advising they would need to Re-schedule. it took a couple of hours to get a hold of someone who could help me-there were no trucks - we rescheduled for the following Friday-i cut my vacation short and had to use points to rebook my flight to do this- again they were a no show(even after guaranteeing they would be there!) When I called it went from they are running late to they can come but can't stay long- rescheduled again to the next morning at 8 am- again a no show. Every time this happened I got a new case manager- Deshana was the first- I emailed her the morning of the scheduled move to confirm we were still good to go but she didnt reply. when nobody showed up the second time Kristen was assigned to my case and had no knowledge of the first incident. Bellhop is a FIRST CLASS company!! I used them to move my daughter from one apartment to another ( ground floor to 3rd floor unit). The communication, detailed information with photos of our movers was clear and professional in every way! I was VERY pleased From the moment I contacted them to our hand shakes after the completion of the job! The employees that helped us were very friendly, eager to please, STRONG , fast, great personalities! 5 STAR job done!!! Defiantly would hire them again!!!! read more
