I don't think I could have trusted anyone else to ensure that I was looking my best. A couple of months before the wedding, during a trial, we talked about color, natural looks, and what I'd feel comfortable with. She cleaned up my brows and made suggestions for what would look best for my big day, including what kind of lashes would work best for me. Her consultation was really professional and made me feel comfortable. With her guidance, I ordered what she recommended and, of course, for my actual wedding day, I left everything at home instead of bringing them to the hotel!! Omg... thankfully, Linh had extras of everything I'd need. She made it work, including back up lashes, and told me not to panic. The customer service, preparedness, kindness, and care really helped to make my day go smoothly. I can't believe I blanked out on such important stuff, but she had me covered. She even helped one of my bridesmaids when that wasn't part of the original plan. I had a truly great day, and it helped to have Linh start my morning off right. Her comforting smile and calm demeanor was such a welcome. Thanks Linh!!

I've tried and gone to endless brow places (in the East Bay, SF and along the Peninsula) over the last ten years - tried everything from just tweezing, waxing and threading - some have been great, some have been not so great. But none have understood me and my brows like Lyn does. She has a knack and eye for natural beauty and seriously brings out the best in your features. My most recent brow experience before going to Lyn left my brows in a disastrous state. Too thin and uneven. As someone with thick and dark brows, it was truly an insecure and vulnerable place to be in. So, again, I was in search of my next brow person. I've always admired Lyn's work on Instagram, so was so excited to see that she was offering appointments again. I signed up for a 'Full Brow Transformation'. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves, but I could not be happier with Lyn, the entire experience or how my brows turned out. The second picture is with my brows filled in, but even without them filled in, they look fantastic. I intend on seeing Lyn every couple weeks to maintain and update the shapes of brows - not just through my wedding in September - but for....like...

Thy did a really great job on the eyes, and again she catered the makeup to our face. Our skin looked flawless. (However in my opinion we looked older than we did without makeup :(. This might not be Thy's fault. My daughter with make up on finally looked like her age :). But I don't need to look like my age :) ). Thy is very friendly and nice. She taught us how to apply makeup. In addition, they're always responsive and communicative and I am always at ease knowing that this team will be taking care of my hair and make up. Both Amy and Emily are so easy to talk to, they're personable but professional. Eternally grateful to have found them, they're my go to make up artists!

This business deserves 0 stars…read more My experience with Emily & Michelle (the studio manager) was similar to the other 1 star reviews you will see on this page. They were by far the most unprofessional and disrespectful vendor I encountered during all of my wedding research. The biggest pain point was unresponsiveness which was consistently bad from day 1. It was silence for days despite multiple follow ups, even when we got to the month of the wedding. Whenever I did receive an overdue response, they were unapologetic and I might even say rude. Because of the concerns with communication, my planner kept trying to dissuade me from hiring Emily and I held out until the very last moment hoping to find another HMU artist. However, we were close to my wedding date and even with my planner's help, I wasn't able to find an alternative. So I reluctantly signed the contract a few days before the wedding and transferred a $1600 deposit. That's when I came across the reviews on this page about the no shows. That was the (much delayed) final straw, and coincidentally a HMU artist I had reached out to months prior reached out to say she was available for my wedding. So I notified Emily that evening asking if she would consider refunding any part of my deposit. Granted, she has no legal obligation to do so but it had been less than 24 hrs since I had sent her the deposit (in other words, less than 24 hrs that she held my wedding date which means no lost business for her). No response from her. She kept my $1600. Even with forfeiting the deposit, I decided to switch my HMU artist and 1000% believe I made the right decision. If I hadn't, I would have continued to stress about whether she would show up on my wedding day, and even if she had, I'm not sure how the experience would have gone. For example, if I wanted an adjustment to my hair or make up, would she have been accommodating? Shame on me for ever signing with Emily against my better judgement! I never write reviews but felt compelled to share this experience. I don't recommend her for any future brides.
