I have tried OTC and Lush henna in the past, but neither were as rich in high quality natural ingredients nor as rich in color as Ruby's henna. I am very lucky to have found Ruby. She did an exceptional job for my wedding makeup. I couldn't go to India for the ceremony and decided to have it in the US. Her hair oil has made my hair less brittle and i have very fine hair that loves to get knotted even though i have bob cut. I have noticed less hair fall during shampoos. Ruby was my hair and makeup artist for my June wedding weekend at the Dolce Hayes Mansion last year in San Jose. Her work is incredible, I'll let the photos speak for themselves. I found out about her through my wedding planner, and after a conversation over the phone discussing my looks and outfits for each day, I knew I wanted her for all of my events. She did my sangeet, wedding (2 outfits and makeup touchups), and reception looks - every single one was perfectly crafted, unique, natural, and highlighted my features instead of caking me up. She did all of my outfit and jewelry/dupatta pinning, and had me ready on time for each ceremony. I have to say out of all of the hair and makeup artists I had interviewed and talked to, I felt the most comfortable and myself with her. She is worth the money (very reasonable) and travels to different venues, making it easier for people with early morning weddings too. She brought her team of two other makeup artists to do my mom, mother-in-law, and sister-in-laws looks and sari pinnings too for all 3 events (they all did a phenomenal job). There are so many great things I could say about Ruby, but here are a few more: she is prompt, dedicated, very talented, artistic, flexible, and can make any changes on spot. I have been going to Ruby's for the last 4 years and get threading, waxing, facials regularly. Ruby is extremely professional with a very warm touch and the result is outstanding quality of her services and her ever loyal customer base. I was suggested to use henna as natural hair dye and hair condition that nourishing, preventing hair loss . I checked out Ruby customized henna since I saw her gorgeous, dark, thick long hair. Just after one use I could feel the difference. My hair feels soft and smooth. It also gives my hair darker brown with tint of red from my grey. I have been a client at Ruby's beauty studio for the last ten years. I think it suffices to say that Ruby is one of the best beauticians in the Bay Area. Her services are simply par excellence! She has an edge in the business since she has always ensured that she uses organic, home-made, natural ingredients in all of the facials that she has on offer. With my sensitive facial skin, I can seldom be talked into bleaching during a facial.
