Actually, I texted and they responded right away. Lucky for me, their newest stylist Emily was available at the date and time I needed. I arrived about ten minutes early. The salon is so stinkin cute, even from the outside. Plenty of parking on the side and the back of the salon. I was greeted as soon as I entered, and my stylist, Emily was ready and waiting for me. Although all the stylists wore masks, they did not require customers to. Since I was in a time crunch, I decided to wash my hair prior to the appointment and just had Emily do a dry style. I briefly explained to Emily what I wanted, loose curls with a little bounce and she gave me exactly that. My hair normally takes forever to curl, but we were done in under 45 minutes! Based on that, I trusted what she was telling me and went through with the service. Unfortunately, I got nothing close to what I asked for. My hair actually looks darker than it did before, and there is barely any noticeable red. What frustrated me even more was the stylist acting like there was so much red showing and pointing it out to me. I understand that I wasn't going to get the exact bright cherry red without bleach, but I was specifically told they could get me close, and this is nowhere near close. I'm not someone who expects an impossible result, especially after choosing not to bleach my hair. They draw from their experience, along with their continuous learning of modern trends, to create a masterpiece every time (they are artists, after all).
