My hair color was a train wreck, and I really wanted to go out for my birthday that night feeling confident with a new, bold look. I am ABSOLUTELY THRILLED to say that Master Stylist Vivian, Lily, Anthony and Danielle all made my dream a reality. The photos show the absolutely CRAZY transformation of my hair under these skilled stylists. Instead of wanting to put a bag over my head, I am over the moon when I look in a mirror now. Vivian has been doing hair since the 1980s, and she is truly a GENIUS. She was careful, ensuring that the bleach did not fry my hair, and she had the best ideas. It was a long process, of course, but worth all of the hours in her chair. If you need a hair miracle or a color correction like I did, I HIGHLY recommend Vivian and her team at Salon Arcaro without any hesitation. She KNOWS her trade, and she's TRULY a Master of hair ‼

Actually, I texted and they responded right away. Lucky for me, their newest stylist Emily was available at the date and time I needed. I arrived about ten minutes early. The salon is so stinkin cute, even from the outside. Plenty of parking on the side and the back of the salon. I was greeted as soon as I entered, and my stylist, Emily was ready and waiting for me. Although all the stylists wore masks, they did not require customers to. Since I was in a time crunch, I decided to wash my hair prior to the appointment and just had Emily do a dry style. I briefly explained to Emily what I wanted, loose curls with a little bounce and she gave me exactly that. My hair normally takes forever to curl, but we were done in under 45 minutes! The dry styling only cost $30 and I loved how my hair turned out. Would definitely come back!

I found this salon on Yelp and with good reviews I decided to call them. They were completely booked (always a good sign) except one opening 5 minutes from my call (maybe my stylist missed their lunch time today?). I was 7 minutes away and they told me that would be okay. I was happily greeted by Corey who turned out to be my hair stylist. I had an idea of how I wanted my hair but Corey really put the finishing touches on my thoughts based on the shape of my face, etc. She took her time with my cut. I never felt rushed and we had a great conversation as we went along. I really loved the end result and would return to this salon in the future. A couple of unique touches of the salon is the use of vintage makeup vanities which I absolutely loved. It seems like it gives each stylist their own unique touch and takes away the sterile copy cat stylist environment of some salons. Great experience today and I recommend them. Another lady was there getting her hair colored and then styled as I was leaving. She looked quite amazing, as well. It was nice to see the stylists not required to wear masks, also.

The staff was so sweet to answer my questions and help pair me with a stylist. I came in for my appointment with Amber and we hit it off well and she knew exactly what I was looking for with my hair. We went through a few photos of my hair journey and got started. The whole process was relaxed and comfortable. I loved the result and trusted her with the cut just letting her know length and that I like layers. I walked out feeling refreshed and fabulous.

I arrived on time to my appointment and was immediately greeted by the receptionist. The salon is big, bright and spacious. There are several stations. Shortly after checking in, Emily came out and brought me to her station. We quickly went over what I wanted then she got started. She washed my hair, cut it then blow dried it. I was "blown away" after she finished. It's been a while since I've gotten a blowout. My previous salon was different. They cut my hair dry, which I was totally okay with. I was very pleased with the outcome. My hair had not looked that good in a while! Emily was not only a great stylist, but she was also friendly and personable. I enjoyed chatting with her.

I had to present myself instead of them welcoming me in which was a little awkward but they were all nice. I was called back for my appt a few minutes early. The two girls asked me what i wanted, took a look at my hair and then went to the back. They came back with their instructor and confirmed what I was wanting. I will say that at first the instructors delivery seemed a little harsh but she was not rude. They went back to the back and mixed up color. One newer girl (I think her name was Alexa) started on my color. The instructor (Tatyana) checked in frequently. Alexa (I really hope that was her name) was so sweet and professional. For the framing around my face another student, Angel, came to help. She was so funny and friendly. She offered great tips and sweet advice to the others! I spent about 3.5 hours there so I only got a small taste of the atmosphere but the students (or up and coming professionals) were very nice and eager to learn which was so settling. I am so satisfied with my hair color and booked a hair cut for next week since I didn't have time today. I will say it does seem some are more experienced in/ or like certain things more than others so go in with patience and an open mind. The place was clean, completely up to par with any other professional place and comfortable. Prices are great. Some tips: understand these people are in training, you may hear them being corrected on technique but don't be alarmed, be patient- you chose to go to a place people are learning so it may take extra time.
