I stopped here on my mother's recommendation, as my girlfriend and I were looking for a quick bite before a soccer match. TL;DR: Food was decent, but my order was messed up and the wait was obnoxious. We actually had to swing by twice; the first visit, the cashier told us they were out of rice and the wait for new rice would be about 10 minutes. We needed some cash anyway, so we told her we'd run get that and return shortly. She guaranteed that there'd be rice when we got back. 15 minutes later or so, we returned. There was one woman ahead of us asking questions, then she kindly let us go ahead because she was undecided. We both got chicken dishes, but I got the option with slightly more food and asked for spicy chicken. I also got some gyoza to share and a drink for myself. We started our entire adventure (ATM and food stops) with enough time to plan on a 6:45 departure to the stadium from our hotel adjacent to the restaurant. We ordered our food around 6:25. We did not receive our food until 7. The woman in line ahead of us (who ordered after since she let us go ahead) got her food 15 minutes before we did. Looking through the glass while waiting, it seriously looked like they made our dishes at least 3 times. They finally gave us the bag of food, and I had to ask for my drink. "Oh, I never gave that to you?" No, you didn't. Got back to our room and my chicken was not the spicy version I had asked for. It tasted fine anyway, but wasn't what I'd asked for. It isn't likely that I'll get the chance, but I wouldn't return here even if I were local. Food wasn't good enough to make up for the other shortcomings. read more

First time trying this place for takeout and it was delicious! We had the Alaska, Dragon and Rainbow rolls which all tasted fresh. Portion size was good for sushi as well and there was no skimping on the good stuff (fish, avocado, etc.). Super impressed. Just ordered togo and everything was perfect. We had the combo 1 with the baked salmon roll. The quality of the dishes was top notch. It's very obvious that this is all made to order and nothing was sitting out too long. What I also really appreciated was the packaging. You can tell the owners are not skimping on utensils, napkins, condiments (Soy Sauce, Ginger & Teriyaki Sauce). I'm very full from the meal and have enough for seconds. The chicken and beef Teriyaki bowl is what I usually get. Its pretty good! I would have to say the chicken out weighs the beef on taste. The reason I give this 3 stars is not based on the quality of the food but the service! Let me explain, one day I call in to order my regular and get told it will be ready in 15 min.... I show up 20 min. Later and wait another 15 min. to receive my order that I placed now 45 mintues ago...? Thats strike one. On a different day I called to place an order for a spicy chicken bowl and was told that they are too busy and can not make that right now? That was strike two. My bf and I were craving sushi but due to covid19 our favorite spot was closed. After driving around a bit we found this spot and were very excited to give it a try. When we walked in we were kindly greeted. The woman working gave us some recommendations and was very nice. She even gave us some hand sanitizer and a alcohol wipe to clean the soda can we purchased. I found this very awesome because it shows they care about cleanliness. We got our rolls and they were delicious. I got the spicy baked salmon roll and he got the rainbow roll. She also included extra wasabi and ginger on the side for us and extra sauces which was very nice. When we left she thanked and the other man working also said goodbye to us. I can tell they use fresh and traditional ingredients by the amazing taste. The lunchbox was a great variety. Brand new place, independently owned. Owners were friendly. Had the chicken bowl with 1/2 veggie and 1/2 white rice. Veggie is a small upcharge, but the quality of the chicken and vegetables were high. Good flavor in the teriyaki sauce and perfectly, lightly tossed, not drenched, so you can still taste the flavor of the food. Way better than a chain restaurant like Waba Grill. The vegetables were zucchini, yellow squash, red onion, broccoli and topped with green onion. The veggies were fresh, crunchy and had flavor...not boiled to death like in other places.
