This establishment and more specifically the artist Alejandro has been recommended heavily around my social circle and social media. After seeing the quality of his work on my boyfriends last 4 tattoos I was convinced and ready to sit in his chair myself. The cleanliness of the shop is the first thing I noticed. Both the common areas and the restroom (which is not always the case). Next would be how well lit the establishment is. Most tattoo shops have dark/dingy vibes that aren't always comfortable or comforting, especially new clients. Each of the artists stations were neat and organized. The atmosphere was also very welcoming. We were greeted by everyone when we walked in the door and the TV's and music weren't so loud and overbearing as I have witnessed at other shops in the past. In the professionalism department, Alejandro takes the cake. He was ready and prepared to get started in a short period of time. I did not have to wait for him to finish drawing or editing my design only sizing and he was ready to begin. The quality of his work is impeccable and as of right now I would not go anywhere else to be tattooed (I lived an hour 1/2 away). The shop is located in a busy shopping plaza with minimum parking. I did a really small tattoo there about 2cm in which they charged me 60$ which I did paid as per the shop the minimun was 40$ but since it was in the face it needed to be 60$ all good!! Couple days passed not even a week and the tattoo faded away completely I went back to the shop and they wanted to charged same price for something that they obviously didn't do correctly! My mom passed away in 2020 and I thought about getting a tattoo in her memory. A co-worker recommended Major League Tattoos. She and her husband have gone there several times. I thought about it and decided, why not. Needless to say, I was highly impressed. The place was spotless. Staff is absolutely amazing. Very friendly and dedicated to the art. Harvey made me feel at ease. When he finished, I didn't even know it was done. It looked amazing and no pain. I was sold. Went back for a 2nd tattoo (my granddaughter picked it out) and now I'm looking for my next tattoo. Out of 5 stars, I give it 100. They are rockstars in my book. This place had such a great environment. I felt safe and comfortable as I was getting my nose pierced and the piercer made sure to explain everything to me as I was getting it done. I went in for a piercing and lets just say i wasn't blown away. The girl that did my piercing looked under age and inexperienced. Seemed a bit distracted with surroundings. I also didn't get to see if everything was sterilized properly or coming out of packages. Also Took foreverrrrr to get the needle through (Quicker the process the less it hurts, in my opinion). Didn't let me know the after care of the piercing either. Just took my money and kept walking read more

I went in for a nose piercing (nostril) and it was a great experience. The staff was attentive and nice. A heads up is that they only take cash. My friend was really nervous but the piercer did a really good job explaining the procedure and recommending how to take care of the piercing. Personally, I passed out when I got mine! The piercer did an amazing job helping me recover with some soda and funny stories. It was honestly a great time and the piercing was quite affordable ($20 for the piercing with an optional after care kit costing up to $15). I pass quite a few tattoo shops on my way here, since I live out of town but I won't go anywhere else. Walking in to this clean, well kept establishment makes the drive worth it. I feel like I am with family the moment I walk in through the doors. Major League Tattoos doesn't have that grungy feel many tattoo spots have. It's well lit & very clean, which makes me feel extremely comfortable. If anyone ever asks me where to go for a tattoo or piercing I always send them here. It's worth the drive, time to wait (if need be) for an appt and any money spent here. I have gotten many many piercings and all my tattoos here. They always know what to do and see my vision to completion when I go in with any crazy requests. I can't say enough good things about this place. Got my nose pierced by Mike. I was scared because it wasnt a shop many people review. I called to ask about the pricing and was super shocked that it was a lot cheaper than other big name tattoo shops. Another thing that scared me is that I could never find any sort of rating for this place, it honestly doesnt receive the love that it should. It is a really cleand and affordable facility. From the moment I called and got info till the moment Mike was prepping for my piercing, I got a feeling of comfort and trust. He was very knowledgeable about my piercing, coached me on what was best and more than anything listened to my every concern. My piercing was great, the after care solution was the best and I can honestly say I am 100% satisfied with the results. The owner Mike is an amazing artist just like all his staff, but besides the quality of work they do... the vibe and energy in that shop is always great! I actually relocated to North Carolina from Miami 3 years ago, and recently flew to see Mike for a new piece on my sleeve, and of course it's flawless. They don't over price, on the contrary pricing is very affordable for the quality of work they do & in comparison to many other top notch artists. Piercings are dirt cheap, fast, never a long wait, & they're all about keeping it sanitary & using the best products! Been meaning to write this review for a while. I went back in September 2015 to get myself a birthday treat. Well before that, I'd spent a couple of months back and forth with the artist there, Lisette, trying to figure out exactly what I wanted. She was gracious with her time, and she sent me sketches here and there till we got what I ended up getting. You can follow her work on instagram at @_glitterpoops She is amazing with watercolor and traditional tats, and you can find my tattoo there. I even had some issues with the healing process and she was very cool about having me come back in and retouching (it was a tough to heal spot). Second time around, it healed gloriously. Honestly my tattoo is only about 6 months old and the quality of the ink is horrible; it looks like I've got my tattoo years ago. My older tattoos look newer. Also, I thought my down payment was going to count towards my tattoo at the end and it turns out they "lost" my paper even when I showed them a copy. Today i visited Major League Tattos in Hialeah, FL. I was welcomed by a young gentlman at the counter very pleasant. I explained i had a tattoo which i wanted to have someone look at it and see what I can do to it. The main reason was I wanted to get a sleeve started and wanted to add images around it. He directed to a very large gentleman in a corner which sat there as if he was the Don of the shop (not the owner) when he looked at my tattoo the first thing he said before i even spoke was "I dont touch other peoples work" then when i asked for ideas of what to put around it or what blending can be done around the tattoo he wasnt even interested. There was no desire to help me as a customer. I asked him if he was availble to do a piece and he said no i have the guy behind you and totally dismissed me. He didnt offer another artist in the shop he didnt say to stick around he didnt offer anything. Its as if i was taking up his valuable time. I thought this was extremly rude and none sympathetic to the customers needs. I had $1500.00 with me ready to be used. I guess my money is no good at major league tattoos. read more

Sometimes you need a bad experience to write a good review. The first time I got my nose piercing I went here, and I have to say I did not feel anything or bleed. There was a little bit of blood around the nose stud but no blood dripping or any pain. About four months later I took it off for a facial and forgot to put it back, eventually it closed. Today I went to get it reopened, I went to inkaholiks instead because they had a 5 dollar special. The piercing process was painful and I had blood dripping down my nose in what seemed to me like a lot. Not worth the 15 dollars I saved. Would definitely be going to all star for every other piercing I get. Apart from that I did my wrist tattoo at all star about 3 years ago, and they were extremely nice, delicate, and clean.
