I had 15 new widows ordered-install in Sept.-Dec. 2023 by Majic Windows. I have mixed reviews, I'm satisfied with the quality of the windows, though I had 1tapzoid window develop a crack from corner to corner. I requested warranty replacement for the cracked window, after review they agreed it was defective. It 2 took mths for the replacement to happen. Tech Tara did a excellent replacement of the cracked window. She was a dynamo, working by herself in the high 80's temperatures. She cleaned up her after her replacement. My biggest complaint with Majic is their terrible customer service communication. Never can reach anybody when you call their contact number, you leave your number and wait for them to return your call. It took over 21/2 mths I waited for an answer to my initial installation date, but only AFTER calling the financial institute and complaining about their lack of communication from Majic. So I have mixed reviews on Majic!!!! read more

ad soffits/fascia wrapped in aluminum, as well as the front pillars of my house by Majic. Was told doing the pillars would be no big deal. Was also told that any rotten wood would be replaced, and that they don't use sub contractors. They sent a subcontractor (guy said he was a sub right off the bat) who ripped through the job fast as possible, rather than replacing rotten wood they just covered over it, and my pillars look like Hellen Keller did them. This job was over $18k, and the pictures below is what I got. Now I get to pay someone to fix this halfassed work. Sales guy won't return calls. Their reviews on Google looked great, because of course you can pay to make bad ones go away, but boy I wish I looked at Yelp and a myriad of other places, because this place is notoriously awful. Rude customer service. They canvased our neighborhood. The girl was very pushy so my husband agreed to an estimate. He called days prior to the appointment to cancel. We plan to move and really don't need a roof. My husband is such a nice guy he doesn't like to tell people "no". The salesman called him and basically berated him for canceling and "wasting his time". He also told him he would be getting a lot of telemarketing calls. He just wasted 5 mins of his time and my husband's just to be rude and negative towards him. That's no way to earn respect or future business. We do need windows, but would never pick Majic just for the experience my husband just had on the phone with a pissy salesman. He even said, "enjoy all the marketing calls you're going to get!" I've been waiting for warranty work on a large window since June 2024. The wrong size glass has been brought out 6 times. During the fix attempt in December 2025, it was discovered that the window frame was also cracked. A new frame and glass were brought out in February 2026, and it was the incorrect size again. A new frame and glass were supposedly ordered around Feb 20, 2026. Today I was told they are disputing my warranty coverage because of the cracked frame. I didn't crack the frame. In fact, the only person that touched the window was Majic's technician. The replacement window was never ordered even though I was told it was and given an ETA of 12 weeks. Stay away from Majic. Biggest and most expensive home improvement mistake I have ever made in my 67 years. I am a US Army Veteran too. They don't care. read more

The difference Majic made, amazed me. They are just so much more efficient. They are j beautiful windows and easy to clean. This company is the most unprofessional and untrusted company I ever worked with. I have one year and 3 months since instalation and is some issues that never got sorted. This is because of a lack of care for customers. Long story short the colored windows are painted over a white window not like they say is molded in color. The quality of the windows and the installers were great. However our salesperson and the customer service/managers were terrible. There was a problem with one of our windows being made the wrong way and had to be remade. We had to wait another 6 weeks only to find out they never reordered our correct window. We only found this out when I called to inquire when our window would be in. We then had to wait another 6 weeks for the correct window. We left many messages with customer service, managers and our salesperson and couldn't get a return call. We asked for some kind of compensation for the incorrect window and were told there was nothing they could do. They came out in December, 20 degrees out side, windows are nice but did a crapy job caulking the windows a 5 year old could have done better it took 3 mounths to get some out to look at it. on top of that they broke my siding and cracked my J channel aroud the window. they sent someone back to recaulk and it's just as bad as the first guys, its been 2 years and no resolution. read more

Terrible experience! Had them do my windows and siding. 2nd story windows on the back of the house were not caulked. Had majic out several times for inside leaks. Took them several years to realize the windows were not caulked. Thousands of dollars in damage to my house. Even the sill plate was rotted out in one area. I paid a contractor to repair that. My OSB underlayment was sponge. They finally sent a crew out after about 3 years of back & forth. The work seemed ok at the time, but I once again have siding popping out around my bay. Last year I was told that the windows would qualify for a tax rebate of $1200. I called many times for the window ID number to do my taxes. After calling for a month, I finally got an answer. Now they say the windows don't qualify. All the customers they told about the $1200 should get a $1200 refund from Magic Window. This was part of my decision to purchase the windows. I would like to give a warning to all who finance through this company. They will put their name on the title to your home which is typical and standard procedure. But the problem is trying to get a payoff letter from them so you can get them paid off and off the title to your home. We are trying to get a Heloc loan on our home and have been dealing with this for over a month now. Our mortgage company tried multiple times to get ahold of them with no response so they turned it over to us. It has been 3 weeks now and we have just gotten the run around. It has never been this hard to pay someone all we want to do is pay them what we owe and get their name off the title of our home. In case anyone at Majic Windows cares the name on the loan was Michael Lubig so you can find us in your system. Would not recommend for siding. Maybe things have changed since I've had stuff done but had issues with communication in the company and things getting swept under the rug. Around 2 years later already having issues with almost all the caulk lines in the trim. Some initial quality issues were never addressed and I gave up on pestering them despite after getting repeatedly reassured it would be taken care of. Got reassurance instead of fixes and a lot of promises that things would get done that didn't. Had unprofessional crew urinating in my yard, leaving cigarette butts and nails out where animals and kids play. The team was often urinating in my backyard and stole several items from my garage, some of which there is no way to replace. At this point have been trying repeatedly over the last year to obtain warranty information from multiple people as well as getting someone out to finish job and when someone came did an incomplete job. Just poor communication with the company. Poor quality and responsiveness. Have still not gotten the warranty repairs completed even though have written the manager multiple times asking when will this be completed. I would very much avoid this company. Your "lifetime exterior" may end up being more work than your old vinyl. Update: was asked by the company to take down my review. Given number of their sub contractor after filing but no follow up from company and this seems to be an attempt to put the problem elsewhere after I filed a BBB report. Nothing has been done since and no showed by the contractor probably ten times. Get in touch with them once a month and nothing. One year later, a couple no shows, and someone who came out twice, pulled out ladder and performed no repairs. Have had difficulty getting in touch with anyone to get this resolved since. read more

This has to be one of the shadiest companies in the metro Detroit area. I bought half a houseful of windows 18 years ago & had nothing but trouble. Three years after that purchase, one of their door-to-door solicitors came to the our door wanting the rest of our business. He got an earful. The President contacted us, came out and said if we'd give him the other half of our business, he'd fix the first batch of windows. We foolishly believed they would make it right. For over 15 years, the windows have leaked, made the house hot in the summer & cold in the winter to the extent we had frost on the INSIDE. When I called to complain citing their "lifetime warranty," I was told "We don't honor that anymore." How can you change your mind AFTER you've given someone a contract?!! Needless to say, after suffering through years of these admittedly good looking but non-functional windows, this was the year my patience ran out. ALL my windows were just replaced by another company, and so far they not only look good, they're insulating the way a window should. Do yourself a favor: Interview a number of companies, get referrals from friends if possible, and do your homework with regard to insulation, layers of glass, E-factor, etc. You'll be glad you did ~ by the looks of many current reviews, Majic hasn't gotten any better. read more

I was clear during the initial phone conversation that we wanted only 2 windows. I repeated that when Majic called to confirm the visit. This self-described "manager" arrived and immediately stated "We don't generally come for only 2 windows." She measured the windows, stood at her computer and within 30 seconds, vomited out a price that was good for "right now" only. Then, like a robot, delivered the mandatory 3 sentence "why our windows are the best" summary and done! We never saw a window sample (irl or by computer). We never saw an estimate, even though I asked to see it and also have it emailed to us. Nope. We were to surrender $3600 immediately if we wanted the windows and if not today, the price soared to $5500. Window unseen, contract unseen. She was willing to wait 20 minutes in her car while we discussed this. I thought of saying yes to that and then getting in our car and driving off. 2 read more

Bill who installed my shower stall was great! Unfortunately he had to return due water leakage three time. Not because he did anything wrong. Just problems with a missing part. Once the correct part was installed I have had no issues. Customer service was always polite concerning my issue with the shower. We recently went to the Home Show because we are in the market for replacement windows. We spoke with the Majic Window representative about their windows and signed up for a free estimate. Mike, Majic Windows' 33 year veteran, Million $ Ring Club wearing, self described CSO (Chief Sales Officer) arrived the next day and proceeded into his 90 minute "no pressure" estimate. As he began to wrap up he wrote up an estimate good for 1 year. If we chose to do the windows 1 year from now they would be $50,000 however if we chose to do them within 60 hays they would be $40,000. When we said we were not willing to spend that much on windows the pressure started to build. "What would it take for you to do them today?" was asked multiple times. Then the numbers started to drop. Down to the low $20s, then to $20,000 and ultimately to $17,500. We said we were not ready to sign on the spot because we had some things to discuss but please leave us the written estimate and we would get back to him. He refused to leave anything in writing. That afternoon we discussed the finances and how the change in the window design would impact the look of our home and decided to go ahead with it and reached back out to Mike within 3 hours of seeing him. We received some generic emails that evening with no pricing or contracts. Mike called around noon the next day and proceeded to tell me the windows would now cost $28,000. When I asked why a 60% bump in price he said the tariffs bumped up the price. (the on again off again tariffs were announced the evening of our initial meeting) I said the tariffs are 25% what about the other 35%? He said that was now sales commission and profit and then started berating me saying over and over again "you cost your family thousands Bob, you should have signed yesterday". So much for no pressure. There is an old saying, "trust is earned in drips but lost in buckets". That is something that is probably not discussed at Majic Windows. I would advise steering clear of this company. read more

I was sold windows,siding and gutters through magic window 5 years ago. For 2 years I have been calling leaving messages about warping,slipping and buckling of the siding with no response. Finally able to get in touch with them I sent pictures per request. 2 months after sending pics I'm told a guy would be out to inspect the issues. Tech arrived and upon further inspection determined that certain pieces were warped and could be replaced. I then receive a call from magic telling me I had to pay over $100 for a service call (that was not mentioned before the job) and also for the material needed because "they" dont want to eat the cost of a sht job. To push it further they said I had to pay a transport fee however this was sold to me with a warranty against buckling and warping. I was told my warranty doesn't cover the siding that's on my house because "They" changed the brand of siding they use​ and that if I wanted to save money I could go pick up the job materials myself 200 miles away. Another option was go through all side siding myself because magic doesn't hold a warranty it's thru manufacture claims.I am done dealing with this company and getting the run around and refuse that any more cash coming from my pocket to theirs. After a $50k job they dont give a sht what the issue is with product they installed so buyer beware of this company until they either get a new staff or get their sht together in my opinion.: I was in the masonry construction biz for 30 years and NEVER told a customer well to save money you could go pick up the block yourself on the other side of the state. Super unprofessional and I would not recommend this company to anyone after the headache this has been. Then I told, well you said it gets worse when sun hits it. Sun hits every house​ in the USA are they buckling? No. In the end I parted ways with any expectations of this company holding up their end of the deal and clawing for more cash for a job they should've fixed under warranty without ANY more cash from a paying customer. These windows require two hands to open/close, this has been an outright terrible experience/investment, not worth the money. I have requested for a supervisor to at least come by our home and try to open our windows and inspect the quality of their installation......there has been no reply since our first "Yelp" review this past April. And he also inspected all my windows and ordered parts for them. I did not now that the other windows needed repair work on them, but through Mr. Brian professional inspection he saw several windows that needed repair. Kudos! We hired Majic to replace all the windows in our home. We originally dealt with Tayler the Operations Manager at Majic. He assured us their quality and work would surpass any other company out there. Install happened and had several mishaps. The crew was unprofessionally, sloppy and not worth the price paid. A window was measured wrong and had to be reordered. After the initial sale Tayler is non-responsive. Several windows came broken, damaged and missing parts. The last "repair" was attempted in Nov 2021 and the replacement window was measured wrong. We were told it would be redone and installed in 4-6 weeks. In Feb 2022 I was told it would be 3-4 more weeks by Brian their General Manager. I contacted them again in March 2022 and Brian stated they didn't forget about us. To this day I have an unfinished window that leaks air and elements and several unfinished repairs that are needed. I have had windows done by two other competitors and only wish I had gone with them on this and not trusted Tayler. This has been a total joke and nightmare. Majic is awful to work with. Once they have your money they don't care. I will be escalating this as far as I can to try to get a job completed. Please be cautious when dealing with them. Installation of windows went horribly and I had to have someone out on 4 different occasions to have an issue fixed with my specialty window installation. This year I had an issue with a screen that wasn't properly installed during the installation last year this was back in May and I'm still waiting a the replacement! I've called on multiple occasions and no one is returning my call! I'd never recommend this company! Almost all of the seals in my sons home are broken on manic windows. My son works full-time and I have left several messages with magic windows customer service and I've not had one return call. This has been going on for over a year and a half. It's too bad because their windows are actually nicely made except for the problem with the seals I am in the process of putting new windows in my home and was going to have them give me an estimate when they came to fix my sons window. I had magic windows in my old house and wanted them in my new home. The windows are quilty made and noticed a diffence in noise right away. I had an issue with service. I had a issue with the sliding locks on top of my windows braking. Called service department meny times no response. So when I decided to get them in my new house I voiced my concern. At that point I got my windows in my old home fixed,my daughter lives there now. Everything was good with the new installation. I wanted to clean the windows and screens and had a problem get the screens out and back in. The little tabs on screens broke and was unable to get the screens to completely go back in. I call service and left a message everyday for a week. No call back. I emailed the VP, he said to call him the next day in the afternoon. I called and left a message. Many emails later, and I still haven't had a call back. This seems to be an issue for Majic . Not returning calls for service is not how you want to be treated after buying a product. We scheduled a "free" estimate based on a door to door cold call. The sales pitch was a 45 - 60 minute estimate you could throw in the drawer and call up to a year later. The salesperson who came out, spent more time talking about how amazing he is, what an idiot the owner is, and how bad Anderson is instead of showing us ANYTHING about the windows - no styles, no choices other than color, NOTHING. Despite our being very honest right from the start that we would not be signing any purchase order that day as we are just embarking on a major renovation, 2.5 hours after his arrival and multiple high pressure sales techniques, he was "invited", for the third and final time, to leave, which precipitated slamming his paraphernalia and stomping out of the house. He was demeaning, condescending and rude the whole time. A second "management level" person asked us to take down the bad review and give them a second chance - which we did, he was a no call no show until 3 hours after appt time despite knowing two people took time off work to meet with him. read more
