(Every company we contacted was months away from starting new projects so my tip; get the bids many months before you want your project completed bc every company was backed up) Gary told us that the colors we wanted for our deck initially probably wouldn't actually look good with our house color, so we trusted Gary's opinion on that and so glad we did!!! Our deck matches perfectly and looks like it came with the house. Also, Gary opined that we should change the stair layout from the original layout with our old deck, and he was right about that! Aaron was our builder and he was here every day working well past dark. He is MacGyver! He must be a genius with physics. He left the worksite cleaner than he found it. Angie works in the office and always responded to every question promptly and is very helpful. She helped us fill out the Timbertech warranty when the project was finished. Great team to work with! In retrospect, I wish I would've spent more to avoid working with Brandon & Miranda. When I originally booked, I was told the start date would be May of that year. The start date was pushed back further and further. I had to reach out for any sort of communication, as Miranda rarely followed through on getting back to me. We got our front porch redone and had a back deck built. I was told he would do the front porch to start, then the back deck after so that my children would still be able to utilize our yard during summer. Instead, he started on the front porch and dug giant holes in my backyard - insisting this had to be the case for permitting reasons. But then once the job started, I only got a maximum of 2 HALF days of work per week. Again, barely got any communication during. I'd have to reach out asking when/if they'd return and I only got a response part of the time. My favorite was being told there'd be a delay bc of materials being late even though the materials had been delivered to my house a week prior. The job finally finished about 6ish weeks after it began. Much much longer than the 2 weeks I was originally told. But I figured whatever, we'll leave it alone since it's done and they looked good. Except the quality was crap too. He changed the back deck plans without ever communicating that it'd be different (one side abruptly stopped creating a 4ft drop to concrete and I have small children & he built around a post we talked about him removing). Within a year, multiple rails on the front porch were coming off & the wood on the back deck was rippling, peeling in multiple places, & corner pieces were separating. I reached out 1 year before the 2 year limit in the contract was met but was told for the next year that I was "top of the repair list and Brandon would be out soon to assess and fix." He never came. Miranda never communicated. I even expressed concern that she was intentionally delaying it past the 2 year mark and I have her saying in writing that they'd honor it but it's been almost another whole year since I've even gotten a response. So, you might pay less going with Brandon but you're going to pay for that difference elsewhere. Strongly do not recommend!!!!!

Ken was easy to communicate and work with on the planning and proposal for the new deck. The new deck was to be more practical and modest in size than the existing 35+ year old cedar monstrosity. Demolition of the huge old wooden deck was complicated by cold weather. Mike was 'Demolition Man" extraordinaire as he dragged huge sections of decking and understructure up a large hill to be hauled away. Winter came quickly with a vengeance and the ground was snow covered for the December installation. The installation crew worked hard and as a team. They were prepared for every circumstance due to the weather. Some minor follow up was needed in the spring to remove remnants of the old deck that were frozen in the ground. The result is a beautiful deck that is exactly what I wanted and its ready to go for the best of outdoor weather to come. To a person everything was done with excellence in service and workmanship. I wish I knew every name to give credit. Each individual was professional, friendly, polite and made every effort to perform a service that was customer oriented. Owners Keith and Lori Manus were great with communications and details. Real customer service is a rare commodity anymore and Manus Builders has five star customer service and more.

Our immediate job of laundry room remodel was quickly quoted and scheduled. Tim talked through the options and was very supportive of giving recommendations. Knowing our subfloor had leveling issues and was creaky we decided best was to go for full tile floors instead of keeping laminate / vinyl.
