Love, love, love this nail salon. Super friendly and incredibly welcoming. They greet you immediately upon entering the salon and you are not judged by your choice of attire, nor is anyone screeching at you endlessly about whether or not you have an appointment. What's even more amazing is how skillful they are in nails. Went today to get a GEL manicure.. not even 7 hrs later my nails are chipping uneven. JUST THE WORST JOB I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. Was in the area shopping in thought I would go in there and try it out.. I went to Majestic a few times when I moved to Lincoln in 2015. I was never impressed and always a bit grossed out because the salon was dirty. I switched to another salon, but then post Covid I started going back. It is convenient to my house and unlike some other salons where you have to have an appointment, I seem to always be able to get in for a walk-in if I go at the right time. I also mostly went for pedicures. After my experience last week I will never go back. The salon itself is as filthy as ever but more annoyingly, I got an absolutely terrible dip manicure. My cuticles were not touched. The tech seemed annoyed that I did not want acrylics which they kept pushing and even more annoyed when I insisted on dip versus gel. My nails look absolutely awful and they do not use dip in a hygienic method. They dip your finger into the same jar as everyone else. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

I'm currently 6 months pregnant and a relaxing day is all I wanted. So I took my 3 year old daughter with me and we had a great time! She was very excited, she picked out her polish color and she loved the kids chair. I was super surprised at how great of a kids pedicure she got. I'm sure she'd give a 5 star rating, and I would've also except that I was not impressed at all with how my nails came out. There's polish on the skin and several of the nails look splotchy. I will give this place another chance since my daughter had such a great time but knowing how to paint nails kind of seems like something a nail tech should know how to do. If that simple task can't be managed I'll just have to find another place for my daughter and I. Pros: -2 sizes of kids chairs that are decked out in hello kitty gear. One was perfect for my 3 year old which was exciting. (included pictures) -prices were reasonable for the most part. -I didn't get a spa pedicure just the regular but it felt like a spa pedi. Love how soft my feet are. -went on a Saturday morning as a walk in and didn't have to wait long at all, about 5 mins. Cons: -unsure as to why my nail tech had trouble painting nails. Super disappointing and pretty much the only reason I'm giving 3 stars. -$20 for a kids pedicure seems kinda high especially considering an adult pedicure is $25. read more

This is honestly the worst nail salon I've been to. I went once when I wore acrylics. I finished, paid and left and drove directly to another salon. Where they had to not only repaint but even out the actual acrylics because they were so botched. The nail tech that correct my nails asked where I had gotten them done and told me this isn't the first time he'd corrected their mistakes. I have no idea how this place is still in business. Like the previous reviewer said, a typical mall nail salon. Though, definitely one I'll return to. I went around 5:30 and while it was busy, they took me right away (though the ladies that came after in had to wait a bit) I paid $19 (plus tip) for a french manicure. An appropriate price for a mall nail salon and about $10 less than the nail salon at the warwick mall charged me last month for the same thing. (This place did a much better job in my opinion.) I came here once a long time ago and got a pedicure with a friend. Based on that experience, I'd give this place 5 stars. I loved everything about it and was pleasantly surprised when my feet were dipped into hot wax to make them baby soft! I was close by the mall and needed a manicure so I decided to stop in since my last experience was great. I told the woman I wanted a french manicure and asked how much it was. I was told either $10 or $15 (if I wanted gel or not). As I looked at the board of prices I saw $19 for french manicure and was happily surprised that I was getting a discount. That manicure was short and quick. Looks great, however, as I walked back to my car I couldn't stop thinking about how fast the manicure was. I quickly realized I didn't get any of the cuticle cutting or extra stuff that normally comes with a manicure. That, I suppose, would explain for the drop in price.. however I would have loved to have known what I was getting myself in for before I sat down! read more

Lady cared more about face timing and talking on her phone than she did about doing my nails and would actually stop what she was doing and keep me waiting so she could facetime. Never once asked my input about if I liked my nails or how I wanted them shaped. I didn't feel welcome here at all. They surprisingly came out super cute though and I was really happy with how they looked somehow. I have gone to this salon numerous times and every time it's something new and I will never go back now. Today I had an appointment at 1:30pm walked in at 1:33pm and they said I was late and would need to wait. After waiting 35 minutes there were no signs my turn was coming so I asked how long and was very rudely told again that I was late. Past experiences have included: Dirty towels (was told oh sorry this never happens), dirty UV lights where your hands dry and a constant lack of common customer service. I decided to try this place out Friday night because one of my acrylic nails had come off... I made an appointment for 4:45 and when I got there it was a mad house. There were so many people in the salon I could barely walk to the sink. It was also hard to hear what the nail tech was saying. Not relaxing at all. My fill was rushed and MANY of my nails are crooked.. The edges are also very sharp. The tools were very dirty and the station was not clean... This place forever to do a simple gel manicure and for the amount of time it takes, the job is absolutely awful. My nails weren't even filed straight and my cuticles were a mess - even I could do a better job myself. My nails started to chip after 3 days and I was very disappointed for the price I paid for them. In addition, the service is trash. Like I mentioned before, it took forever for just a gel manicure. I believe I was on the chair for about an hour and 15 mins. The girls who do my nails don't have a care in the world and it's obvious they hate their jobs. Makes me not want to be there either. P.S. At my usual salon my nails are done to perfection in 30 minutes and stay that way until I need a fill. This place took an hour and 15 minutes for a fill ...I was extremely late getting back to work. The files for the drill were not sitting in any antiseptic or liquid at all an were dirty. They were both fine, the only thing that I wasn't too thrilled about is they did a design on my daughter's nails without asking me (and charged me for it). I originally came in for six different services which totaled $185 and I left $40 as a tip. My nail woman talked me into dip nails after I told her they didn't work for me and I don't like the tinfoil. She insisted that I would love them and that I wouldn't see her for three weeks and we wouldn't have to use any tin foil. My original service was on a Tuesday and I had to return Sunday four effects of two nails that had already lifted. The women at the salon acted like they didn't recognize me or know me asking me where I got my nails done and who did them. I then had to sit in tin foil in this took 50 minutes out of my day. Now it is the following Thursday so nine days after I had three broken nails and called to have them fix again. After my service was done my nail person then had the nerve to charge me 10 extra dollars even though I needed three trips to get my nails done the way I wanted. So I am normally not one to speak up but this I just can't believe. I got my nails done here on Sunday morning; a gel manicure and a normal pedicure. My pedicure has stayed but within 24 hours my manicure was starting to chip. Fast forward to today and I was missing half the polish. So I go back and ask if they can just redo them as I spend a lot of money here every 3 weeks. They gave me dirty looks but said have a seat. So I'm waiting for about 7 minutes and I ask how much long. They told me 25 minutes. There were 4 nail techs just sitting there on their phone so I said I don't have an extra 25 minutes if someone else wouldn't mind helping. So one lady starts soaking off my gel. I'm sitting there for 10 minutes and another lady (the owner) comes over and goes you sit over there. Now I have to grab my own purse; with foils all over my fingers; and something I've never done at a nail salon. So she's filing my nails and openly coughs all over my hands. Grossed out completely but was not in the mood for them to continue talking about me in another language. She then starts putting the base coat on my nails and she puts a piece of cracker-jack in her mouth. ARE YOU KIDDING?? Being in the cosmetology field I know that this women could get in so much trouble but being a normal human I knew how unsanitary this was. Here is the BEST part. It must have been a bad piece and she spits it out IN HER BARE HAND and puts it on a little napkin. She then processed to ask for my hand. I asked her if she could go wash her hand and let me tell you if looks could kill you; I'd be dead. She would not go wash her hand. I asked if I could then have my money back from my last manicure and she stated "no refunds" I said then either you can wash your hands or someone else is going to finish. Came here for the first time to take my daughter and niece and had a horrible first experience. The people were super rude and it was small and hard to walk around. I will never come here again. They were over priced and I did NOT feel welcomed at all! Really upset because the only reason I came was to let my daughter and niece use the adorable hello kitty chairs for kids. The young man that painted my daughters toes was so rude, he kept telling her to sit still (in a very mean manner, she was barely moving around) and was acting as though we were inconveniencing him or something. I will NEVER come here again. Also They did not have a wide selection of colors for your nails and toes at all! Plus the place was not that clean either! Ive been to this nail salon so many times and overall the experience has been okay. However, the last time i went they rushed my pedicure and my friend was sitting next to me and was getting the same type of pedicure done and the person doing her nails took about a half an hour and mine only took like 15 minutes. The worker was also pretty rude, she said to me, "are you getting your eyebrows done too?" And I replied "no" she said "you should they look really bad and messy". I will definitely not recommend this nail salon to friends unless they want to be insulted by the staff. I was desperate to get my nails done the day before an event and I ended up here by circumstance. I debated whether to write this review because the staff was so friendly and my tech was absolutely the SWEETEST. The sweetest, I tell you. The place looks like it's been in business for awhile, like what I imagine it may have looked like late 90s if that makes sense. Nothing fancy, but I felt relaxed in the atmosphere. I simply got gels over my natural nails. She went IN on my cuticles with the clipper, and I bled twice. I didn't think much of it, I mean it can happen, but also she seemed like she applied more pressure than I felt comfortable with when she clipped away. I honestly liked how my nails looked, I would've given service 4 stars. I put Neosporin on my cuticle cut when I got home just to be safe. The next day my whole finger hurt where I was cut the worst. I'm lucky I didn't get an infection, but a week later my skin and cuticles were all a dry flaky mess because she was so clip happy. I feel terrible writing this review, but I also feel terrible not telling people they could have a similar experience here. Took my granddaughter to get a pedicure because of the Hello Kitty chairs, as a professional nail technician myself for 30 years and a nail instructor, i find the prices for children's pedicures too high and the salon is nasty. In front of every pedi chair were someone else's cut toenails, so disgusting. Of course I said something to them, that it is uncalled for, she say's, we clean up at end of day. Really??? End of day?? I told her it should be cleaned after every client. What would it take to use a dust buster after every client. If it wasn't for my granddaughter I would have walked out.
