Use to love this salon! It changed hands a few times without any of the regulars being given a heads up. I've been going there since they first opened. Never had a bad experience until recently and I stopped going. I was a regular every 3wks always made an appointment in advance with Casey. I'm not sure what happened but the two men they had working there left leaving just Casey. Four months I went in for my appointment, once completely closed down I had to go next door to the hair salon and ask them if they would take my number and pass it on. After that I'd show up with an appointment and was asked to wait or come back. Stupid me I waited. The next time I arrive she's got one in the pedicure tub and one in the nail station she casually looks at me and said ohhhh Debra I'm going to be late. Absolutely no regard or respect that I had an appointment... I'm what?!! I very nicely told her no and I would not be back. I've found a new salon, after all they are everywhere.. But what really gets me is that I stuck it out with her for over a year when she took over, she had my number not once did she pick up the phone to apologize, say that she valued my business.. Do people even do that anymore? Very, very unprofessional thinking her time was more valuable than mine. read more

My daughter got builder gel with April and I got gel with Mia along with a pedicure and I can't say enough good things about them! Professional, quick and very detailed! Great prices as well. My nails came out amazing , very kind gentleman tech did my service , so as several visits went on I encountered some rough patches with my cuticles and nothing to do with the salon !! They still took me and performed good services .... Until my last appointment today , I have never ever be treated and embarrassed like I was today !!! I called to have a nail fixed and a new professional lady picked up the phone and I asked if Casey was available and she said yes , you can come at 2:00pm today as I explained to the lady on the phone my issue and to relate it to Casey she said no problem see you soon !! This is the Part where I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs !! But I collected my composure!!!! I walk in to the salon upon arrival Casey yells across the whole salon with people sitting getting there nails done and to little girls with their mom .... Both gentlemen I dealt with were perfectionists, gentle and constantly asked throughout about my comfort and satisfaction with color choices. The owner is very nice and friendly. I went in for just a gel removal, I had never been here before. At first view, it's very glamorous looking compared to other nail salons. I sat down, and the technician started wiping the nail crumbs from a previous service. I could see her equipment on her side filled with nail clippers, and other instruments. There was no sterilization fluid anywhere, the long table I sat at was empty, it full of nail remnants. If you don't see instruments sitting in a blue Barbacide fluid b very weary. read more

I went to get a pedicure and came out with a bloody toe and no pedicure. The technician who helped me was in a bad mood. From the beginning she started to get angry. When I asked her about nail polish colors for a French pedicure, she pretended not to understand what I was telling her. She started speaking in her language to the other technician, and it sounded like she was angry. Then she started cleaning my toes a little rough and cut one of my big toes with the nail clippers. After cleaning my toe and putting alcohol on it, she continued cleaning. I told her I was leaving, and she charged me $35 (I was there less than 20 minutes - bloody toe - No Pedi). I paid and left the place. I do not recommend it read more

I would not return to this salon. The pedicure was not relaxing at all - feet were in the water for about 3 minutes and lotion was rubbed on my feet but no massage. I can get a much more thorough and relaxing pedicure for the same price at other places. My biggest issue was the inconsistency with colors. I asked for #135 and the color on my nails looks different from the swatch. Plus, my toes are a peach and do not match at all like I requested. The employees were nice but this place is not for me. I really hope that the salon reaches out to redo the manicure and pedicure colors. $66 before tip and it's not good... read more

One of the worst pedicure nail polish jobs I've received. The two stars are for the technician and new owners' attitudes. They were very kind, but the service was subpar, and I was not in a mood to spend more time there to get the polish redone. I skipped doing a dip manicure during the same appointment because I was worried I'd have to pay for something I wouldn't like. I will say I'm very OCD and picky about my nails, and right now, my pedicure looks like something I did myself at home. Definitely not something that was paid for, or professionally done. I will say the owner and technician asked a few times if it was okay, and I said yes. I walked out unhappy, but that's on me, because I didn't want to argue or spend extra time I didn't have to for them to redo it. I came here with my 2 sisters and it was just an awful experience. I had to walk out because I refused to have her finish such an ugly job. I asked to get my acrylics off and just get a clear amani and pedi. #1 my nail cutter was rusty and the lady had a hard time using the dull nail cutter. #2 my feet look terrible, as my nails are still long and one foot is round and one is square. #3 on my mani I kept asking for round and she proceeded to do square after I told her multiple times I wanted round. #4 They knew my sisters were only getting a pedicure but made me sit and wait while they started on them when I had the longer service. I brought my young teenagers here for manicures. I specified at the beginning "they would each like a full set of acrylics, with no extra add-ons, please." What that actually meant is "let's add on $45 of upgrades". When I questioned the bill, I was told "well most girls their age actually want the gel, so we did it." Ahhh ok. I've been to many a nail salon in Rhode Island and Luxury Nails is hands down my favorite! No one does dip manicures better than them. They never look thick and they use a gel top coat instead of the regular dip top coat because it's shinier and lasts longer. Both Valerie and Nancy are fantastic! The plexiglass Covid separator had such gunk and nail debris on it, I couldn't see through it to view my manicurist at work. Highly recommend! It is a quick ride from Wrentham. A beautiful ride actually with the pops of fall foliage around! I had a really lovely gel manicure done. My nails look fantastic. I also treated myself to the deluxe pedicure. I'm not sure what the difference is between the two, but my feet look and feel AMAZING. I had been going to this salon for a few months now, and everything came out fine before. Yesterday I went and got the worst manicure I've actually ever gotten. I wanted to get dip, and I wanted to mention first that my nails were actually a nice length and a nice shape, and the man that did my nails filed them down so much and shaped them like circles. After that, he used the electric nail file so much that it ended up completely scratching the color. I told him, and he ended up doing another layer of the dip to cover it, but then did the electric nail file too much AGAIN and did the exact same thing, and acted like he couldn't see the scratches and as if it was "just my nail"? Not only that, but he cut me pretty deep with that file as well and then continued to dip my finger in the powder, which is INCREDIBLY unsanitary. The manager (I think) ended up wanting to see my nails to see what was wrong, so I showed her, and she offered to fix it after her client but I didn't have time, and honestly I didn't want to stay any longer. To "fix" the situation, she said she would take 25% off the cost and she would have him paint over the dip with gel to cover the scratches, so he did, which made my nails sooo thick at the end. There was gel paint surrounding my nails that he didn't care to clean up at all. And even with the 25% off my total was still 30 dollars?? Huh??? Anyways, I'm never going back if that wasn't clear lol. If I wanted something better apparently I should've just done it at home and saved my money! read more

I've never posted a review because I didn't want to feel guilty but I'm in so much pain I would feel guilty not posting if this happened to anyone else. I read all the reviews and was so excited. I'm now bleeding and fear an infection of some sort. To start I was never asked what shape so now I have this horrible shape I hate. My cuticles were sanded down and are now bleeding and inflamed. If that didn't hurt enough the nail tech used glue to try to stop the bleeding (which didn't work). Then put RUBBING ALCOHOL on the cuts. I am still in searing pain. If the cuts and all weren't enough the nails are all crooked. read more
