Super cute with eat in or to to go options. Did a fruit tarte to to and they put a ribbon on the box for me. Service was slowish. But packed with all ages and male and female. Super cute with Eiffel Tower depicted on wall and Christmas decorations adorning the top of the pastry case.

If you don't mind spending a pretty penny, you will love this spot. I walked into a view of very Parisian fancy desserts in the glass display. Ended up ordering a cappuccino, a croissant, and a baguette. I spent over $10 for two pieces of bread and the smallest coffee (that while good, was gone two sips later). What really bothered me was that I asked for butter and they wanted to charge me for it. Really? the little butter that every other restaurant puts out with their free bread? The parking situation is complicated, they do have some street parking upfront but don't forget to pay for it and beware of the residential spots.

Looks like a typical coffee shop until you see the pastry counter. It's like a high end French pâtisserie in here; could easily compete with the likes of Chez Bon Bon at the Fontainebleau. It's always a good idea to start your day with some cake. Rose Lady: Almost looks too good to eat! However, you should definitely eat this. It's like a rose-shaped chocolate mousse with a delicious layer of raspberry running through near the bottom. Summer Vibes: A fruit lover's dream! So many thin colorful layers of alternating cake, jiggly gelatin-like layers and fruit paste. Very vibrant tasting.

WOW! I do not normally take time to leave reviews, but this was such a stellar experience! We are in Miami from out of town, and my fiancé and I came in around 8:30 for coffee and breakfast- such KIND service and tasty food! We had a scrambled egg, salmon and avocado toast, and an apple turnover. The apple turnover was so good, we had to leave with another! Side note, they have many beautiful pastries and cakes to look at while you're waiting for your food!

One of the best almond croissants I've had in my life. This is the only bakery I know that sells yummy croissants + macarons. Way better than Atelier. I can't wait to come back :) ladies at the front were nice and welcoming to help me.

I been seeing this place in instagram and I was in the area so I did a quick stop by to take some goodies home and is All TRUE. This place is so cute and feels like a small piece of Paris. Authentic French girls serve you in the most helpful and efficient way plus a nice smile. Also at this bakery they have lots of different French goodies like candies (bought the kids super cool sphere chocolates and they absolutely loved them.

I recently discovered this little French pastry shop, they also have breakfast and lunch, the place is really lovely, out of the beaten path of tourists so perfect for the locals, I have been there twice now and I really like the pastries, I will have to try the food next time. You should try it, it is really a lovely place

Needed to scoop up some sweet treats for a dinner and found this place through Yelp of course. So many goodies here but opted for an apple and a pear almond tart. They were very tasty and hit the sweet spot. Will definitely return to try la choice as well as all the other delicious desserts they make daily. Parking is a bit of a mission but the service is delightful and the quality more than makes up for it.

I went the first time to this place about a month ago. I was doing a blog post on French places in South Beach for my blog. I fell in love with it instantly... starting with owners who are French following with decor of the place which makes you feel like you are in Paris and the whole wall of family history. The food is amazing. I got quiche with salmon and I haven't taste quiche as good so far. Since then I've been there several times and there is always something new to taste. I really try to find words to describe and can't find the correct ones. You better go and see and taste for yourself. Make sure you get cappuccino so you can have art on your milk foam and one of the specialties - a shoe, a sweet pastry filled with cream of different flavors. It is not a chain the owner is there most of the time and she will make your experience unforgettable.

Best Catering in Miami! Maison Valentine saved the bridal shower day! We only had only two weeks to plan; they made it simplistic! They prepared us assorted croissants; the almond croissant is yum and vegan chocolate muffins are yum yum. They made us our own quiches; all vegetarian. Spinach, Goat Cheese & Mushrooms, and Brie & Mushrooms. Yum, Yum, Yum!!! Then we had one last special request: To put a shot glass in the passion fruit cake and write on the cake... One last shot before the knot. Maison Valentine knocked it out of the park! Home Run ~ Best Bakery in Miami. The passion fruit cake was the perfect serving after a hot bridal shower day. BRAV-O!!!

It felt like a lot of small things that added up enough to leave us all feeling meh about it. We made a reservation and were right on time. We were told our table wasn't ready so we waited outside due to the entrance being extremely tight. It was a super chilly and windy night so that wasn't great. I went in to ask after almost 15 minutes and they immediately walked us to an open table, which felt weird to not have called us back in despite the table sitting vacant. The ordering process was fine and the waitress was informative and chatty enough that we commented about it when she left after taking our order. Things then kind of randomly took a turn. They served our food with a few dishes coming out super quickly. One more came out and not long after, all plates were cleared, even though one - the tuna tartare, wasn't done. We all were so taken aback and slightly distracted that we didn't really react and then kind of all asked "was there not a ton still left on that plate?" So we assumed whatever was coming out was coming soon and we were in great spirits and celebrating "NYEE" so we let it go. For the rest of the night, we struggled to flag down a waiter, and just overall felt like we had done something wrong. It was super strange and took away from the night. It took over 20 minutes before our last entree came out. I understand veal can take long to prepare, but they could have notified us or spaced it appropriately. The pasta it came with felt a bit like an airplane pasta - felt very thoughtlessly prepared. Another note on something that stood out- plates are out on table and were never swapped out when we were brought our food. Even if there is turnover quick enough that it doesn't sit for long, I would rather not have my plate out in the open to then eat off of. My thinking is that it must have been an off night because I haven't heard anything bad about Semilla. However, it was a bummer enough that it has me second guessing if I want to come back.

We ordered a bunch of smaller dishes to share and were quite full at the end! Soupe à l'Oignon Gratinée: Really great broth with chunks of caramelized onions. The cheese was plentiful and gooey. The bread wasn't toasted though and a bit thick, so that could have been improved. Escargots: A classic. Loaded with butter, garlic and herbs. Lots of bread offered on the side to soak up that goodness and enjoy a snail on top. Le Tartare de Bœuf: A huge portion! Though I prefer my tartare a little less minced and more like finely chopped. Good flavor though. The greens in the salad were a nice palate cleanser between bites. Gnocchi À La Juju: Shockingly better than Italian gnocchi. Each little gnocchi was nicely seared for a brown and somewhat firm exterior, with a good chewy pillow inside. The sauce was outstanding. Some cream and complex cheeses that are worthy of French culinary techniques. Tartiflette: More cheese and cream. This time with potatoes, onions and bacon. However, when the bill was presented, those items were included, which created a very uncomfortable and confusing situation. The issue here is not about the amount, but about the lack of transparency. If items are being sent to a table, it should be made explicitly clear whether they are complimentary or will be included on the bill. Without that clarity, it feels misleading. I've tried about 8 restaurants for Miami Spice this year and hands down this is the best! In fact,…read moreas I've given other places 5 stars already, I feel that this place should be given a 6, to show that it's really better than the other ones. Definitely a gem. The restaurant is hidden inside the Cadet Hotel, and hidden is the word because even when you are in the lobby you won't know where the restaurant is. It's up a small, unmarked flight of stairs. The restaurant itself is small, with about 10 tables and half of them two-person, so probably can fit no more than 30 people. However, this little gem has plenty of charm, cozy and not stuffy at all. Feels like you are in a little restaurant in Paris. For Miami Spice, appetizer choices include truffle celery risotto, duck confit and foie gras. Main dishes we had the cod fillet, lamb chop and duck l'orange. Dessert is floating island, a Pavlova with a creamy sauce and berries. I won't go into detail, as I probably will just be repeating the words "delicious" "flavorful" "delish" "heavenly" "excellent" over and over. Suffice to say the meat is succulent and cooked just right, I relish every bite, and it's good to the last bite - something which actually is quite a feat, as sometimes dishes that are delicious at first bite can get salty or boring as you eat on. Patrick the sommelier gave us a good recommendation. As we ordered different dishes, it's hard to pick just one bottle, but the barolo he selected manages to go well with most and amplifies the flavors of the risotto, the duck and the lamb really well. The regular menu lists most entrees around $35, and the well selected wine list has many good but lesser known wines for $50 to a few hundreds. Reasonable prices, I look forward to be back even when it's not Miami Spice month!

First, this is a restaurant where you come for the amazing service, quality food, and something different type of food. This is not your typical everyday restaurant and it is more on the high end side. The restaurant is inside a hotel and parking can be limited, but you can walk a little to the parking garage or pay the parking up close. Service: let me start with one of the best things about this restaurant. The waiter comes and gets you as soon as you come into the hotel/restaurant entrance. They will be on top of you if you want or need everything. There was a guy there that suggested us a great red wine selection and we of course got the bottle. We did not have to wait much at all for anything. They were constantly coming to check up on the food, if anymore wine was needed, or anything else.. Food: the food was definitely high quality food. You come here not for the portions, but for the different options they offer. You come here for the top of the notch ingredients. The taste of the food was delicious, not overpowering, and all the ingredients went well together. My husband got the PAN SAUTEED FOIE GRAS for first course, SHORT RIBS MARINATED IN BURGUNDY WINE AND SLOWLY COOKED for second course, and of course the FLOATING ISLAND Poached Whipped White Egg, Crème Anglaise, Fresh Berries for desert. It was all perfectly cooked and delicious, the short ribs we soft and the flavor was just on point. I got WILD MUSHROOM RISOTTO for the first course, DUO OF BRANZINO AND SEA SCALLOP Vegetable and lemongrass sauce .. Branzino  Butter Dulce Flakes Sauce ..Scallop for the second course, and the same desert as my husband for the third course. I really just enjoyed it all, the flavors of the sauce along with the vegetables not being overcooked or under cooked. The chef in the back just played it all so well together. The ambient of this restaurant is small and cozy. This is a place for date night, or talking to an old friend you haven't seen. This place is small, so reservation is a must. It is a restuarant where you can actually hear the person in front of you without having to scream over other people or the music. It is a great place because once you are done eating you can walk Lincoln road or go walk the beach if you'd like. I would not kind coming back here again for another date night. Service was great, food was delicious, and I enjoyed the cozy quality restaurant it really is.

When I was seated I was warmly greeted by a restaurant employee and he promptly took my order. I ordered the Bora Bora smoothie to start (around $7) and ordered the turkey and brie cheese sandwich (around $10). The smoothie was made quickly with fresh fruit and the sandwich is a huge portion and came up quick with fresh bread and all fresh produce, the sandwich was truly amazing! Make sure to use the vinagarette dressing on the counter, this is homemade and is so good! If you're near a La Sandwicherie location, definitely stop in!

I'm salivating just thinking about it. Can't wait for my next trip to Miami!
