I've been coming to this salon for years (regular gel mani with overlay and the occasional nail art) and have always had great experiences with the techs here. I used to see Nicole regularly and she was always incredible - super talented and consistently did great work. When she moved locations, I started booking with BoYoung, and she's also amazing! Her shaping is super clean and she's genuinely so very nice. One time I even asked to switch my gel color after she had already started a few nails (before curing of course!), and she was so nice about it! Whether you visit Nicole at the new location or see BoYoung here, you'll definitely be taken care of! read more

I had an appointment on 7/21 for a full set of gelx and it went ok. Unfortunately, by 7/23 my pinky nail had cracked out of nowhere. I've called twice and sent the salon a message through their website and have never received a reply. Since then, some of my other nails have started to snag and lift. Disappointing all around. read more

Came here based on a recommendation from a friend! Made an appointment online for Japanese gel French manicure and gel pedicure. Cute ambiance but they have weird cop shows on the TV which I thought was super weird. They offered me a bottle of water which was a nice touch. The massage chairs were also nice and new looking. Yuki did my French manicure and it turned out perfect! She was very sweet and always asked how I liked the shape of my nail, the width of the tip, and the color of the nude part. The person who did my pedicure was pretty rude and was coughing the entire time. She was wearing a mask, but if you're sick then honestly don't show up to work. So that made the experience less relaxing because she would cough every minute. Price wise, I would say it's pretty expensive as I spent $160 for a gel mani and pedi. However it's been 3 weeks and no chipping! So very good quality. Free parking at the shoppers lane parking lot a couple blocks away. read more

Yuki did an amazing job on my nail art. It turned out exactly how I wanted. The salon has a great vibe and doesn't smell like chemicals like a lot of other places. Although I don't regularly get manis, I can see myself coming here as a treat often. It feels worth it for how much time and effort they put in making sure their service is perfect. I can't stop staring at how well they turned out. read more

If you're not getting your nails done here you're wasting your money elsewhere. I will never cheat on this place, the seasonal pedicure is the best especially now with the steamer. So dreamy. read more

Yuki did my nails, and she was great! The whole atmosphere was very calm and clean and everyone was very cordial. There were so many options to choose from of nail colors and shapes! There was also a show playing in the background and phone stands on the tables to that you're entertained during the process. My nails were beautifully and intricately painted. Would definitely recommend! =D read more

If you are still in search of a great salon, then search no more, Maison de Beaute is the place!!!! I love love my nails every single time I came here, I'm pretty picky when it comes to my nail shape and the nail techs never disappoint me. The salon is chic and modern, there is plenty of parking spot and it's super close to old town Pasadena. It's a great spot if you want to take your mom/girlfriend for a pamper day :) . lowk the pedicures i got for my boyfriend and i felt really rushed (literally no massage, no hot towel time, barely had any foot scrubbing, and probably lasted only 2 min total in the foot soak). i feel like they just charge for add ons that are typically included at any other nail salon. they were really nice, don't get me wrong!! but overall would not come back. also asked for a drop of nail glue for one of my nails that was kind of breaking and the staff were making it feel like a huge trouble to ask for. smh read more

I love a luxurious nail salon experience! I've walked by this place many times getting to Republik (a really good cafe) and finally made an appointment through their website. It was a seamless process that's done via Google. I got a text from the salon saying that I can come in earlier if I wanted. The street parking was a bit full and if you're familiar with Green Street, it's a one way. After circling the block a couple times. I managed to find a spot! It's SO cute inside. Great luxurious decor. Contemporary furniture. So much attention to detail. The check-in was quick and I was offered a drink so I opted for a mimosa. The spa chair felt fairly new still and was comfortable. I got the 'refresher pedicure' for $30 and it was nice. My nail tech did a great job. There was a scrub applied and light pumice stone on the bottom of the feet. Very pleasant experience! Overall, it was a relaxing and luxurious appointment. Offering drinks is always appreciated. It felt very high end and the prices weren't too harsh. I will definitely be back! read more

This is my second time here. Set up the appointment for the Dazzy nail polish as it's supposed to be a more natural service. Each time my nail polish has chipped within six hours. The first time I went in the following morning, I arrived back at the nail salon and the Manager completed the manicure and it was lovely. This time I went in and was told that there was no time available and that they don't warranty the nail polish. I feel as though that should be a disclaimer that pops up "if it chips in 2 hours we won't take responsibility". A month ago they did warranty up to a week. When the Manager completed the service, it lasted a week and a half. My toes that were not redone by the Manager held up for three days. The manager expressed that she would retrain her employees and show them the correct method of adding solution to the polish if it's been sitting admitting it was their fault. Personally can't justify $50 for 3 days of chipped polish. This time when I called the front desk girl said we will offer you a complimentary fix. When I arrived back the manager had a different story. I did receive a refund on this last manicure. Mind you I tipped every single person that helped me. $50 in tips, that's the cost of an entire service. The lack concern that the salon had provided poor service, just that they would take it into consideration. Please don't come in for the dazzy manicure. Can't speak to the quality of any other services but can speak to the lack of service and preservation of customers. Both times I came in the day before a trip without flexibility in my schedule. This time I lost an entire foot of nail polish! It was completely embarrassing. Especially as I was meeting a bunch of new people. First impressions huh? Removed the entire service 2 days after going in. When taking the polish off I was shocked at the amount of cuticle left. It's also shifty to promote payments through pay services and cash instead of credit card to avoid being held accountable by a dispute read more

First time here. It was very easy to get an appointment. Ana was my nail artist. She did a great job. She was meticulous and kind. This place is on the pricier side but you can see the quality. They told me to come back in a week if they get chipped, which I thought was nice. I've never had a nail tech tell me this. Pleasant experience. Can't wait to see how long these nails last. My friend recommended I check out Maison de Beaute on Instagram and I just fell in love! The nail art is so beautiful so I just had to try it out. I loved seeing the delicate floral designs that looked so lifelike. Making an appointment was easy over text and I chose Nicole as my tech. She texted me a few days before and asked what I had in mind. I saw a beautiful glossy starry cake and sent it to her for some galactic/cosmic inspiration. When I arrived to my appointment, I sat down and she already had everything set. She had the colors, the glitter and the gold dust all prepared. I work in healthcare so my cuticles are always really dry but Nicole took really good care of my hands and nails and was so detailed to making my nails looks space-ish and cosmic. The quality of the Japanese gel products is really good and the color and gel has lasted over 6 weeks. I really should get everything removed but it makes me happy still looking at it. I would definitely return and look forward to the experience again. read more

Really an enjoyable place to be at. Beautiful place. Front desk coordinator(s) very efficient with time management and make sure your seating area is ready upon arrival. I came here for the experience however I walked away learning a nail line that is vegan friendly called Dazzle Dry. My stylist Evie walked me thru each procedure and explained what each step does. Evie is very detailed oriented, skilled and professional. She listen to my dislikes and like as I prefer my natural nails with nail shaping, filing down nail bed and finding the color. I do wish Dazzle Dry has a way to do French tips but that's ok. I love that it drys in 10 mins and as I am not a fan of the gel system (hurts my nail bed personally). Being in the Beauty industry knowing we have options with different nail polish system speaks volume As I observe, this place is very clean and sanitize as that is a must. Stephanie did my pedicure who I just met for the first time for a pedicure. Super efficient, great massage and knows her colors. I will be back soon. read more

Warning: long review incoming. Queenie is AMAZING!!!! I was looking to splurge on a cute manicure and fell in love with Queenie's nail art on IG. She is both skilled and artistic, and capable of working with a wide variety of designs, from sparkly gems to matte graphic art. I came to the salon a few minutes early and was seen right on time. The salon is clean and clients are fairly spaced out. There's a full coverage partition between you and the nail artist. Queenie was really nice and I was able to choose what I wanted to watch on Netflix, so I had a great time watching GBBO. Queenie helped me choose the most perfect pink polish that has ever graced my fingers. I asked for a warm pink that flattered my skin and OUT OF NOWHERE she pulls out the perfect shade. It's the perfect amount of sheer without being totally see through, and it's truly an amazing match for my skin and for the design I got. I gave Queenie some inspiration pictures as well as some custom instructions. She had me text the photos to her, kept them open the whole time as reference, and was attentive in incorporating my wishes as well as her sense of design into my nails. She was thorough with nail prep and cuticle care, and I didn't feel a thing. My nails incorporated a lot of little gems, gold leaf, etc, and Queenie's hands were so steady with placing them! Queenie also did a good job of removing my previous dip powder set. She filed the color off SO smoothly I was shook. I also like that she just folded the foil to keep the acetone in place, instead of relying on clips. She was incredibly transparent and fair about the gel removal pricing, decreasing it from $15 to $10 after realizing it was easier to remove than expected. I also appreciate that she was upfront about the total cost once she had finished brainstorming my nail designs. Overall my manicure cost $90 (+$10 previous polish removal) and I can definitely say it was worth it! The gel is well cured and not tacky, my nails are well shaped and the polish is evenly thick, even on nails with more involved designs. I was so in love with my nails I almost missed my bus as I was admiring them. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Maison de Beaute, and especially Queenie, if you are looking for a gorgeous set of nails! read more

First time at Maison Nails Spa and I was really impressed. The salon is very clean and has an amazing variety of cat eye polish options. Evie did my nails and it turned out wonderful. I've been going here regularly for about a year and Tina has been the one to do my nails because I love her work. She is meticulous and really pays attention to details. She always wants to make sure that you're happy with the shape, length and look of your nails which I appreciate. Don't be shy to let her know what you are looking for. While I usually have a design in mind, I would totally trust her vision and let her pick whatever design she felt like. My best friend actually goes to Erica and I know her work is great too. I usually get the gel x extensions and will last me around 5 weeks or so even with lap swimming 5-6x a week and frequent dishwashing by hand. It can last a little longer but as your nails grow out, you can start to see the nail bed at the cuticle so that's usually my signal for a fresh set. It puts a little dent in the wallet but for quality of work, convenience of having nicely done nails and time saved for me is well worth it. You can always ask for a quote beforehand as well. This place is walking distance for me so I can't speak to parking but I believe there is an attached structure or street parking but just beware of time limitations depending on what you're getting. Removal, application and design of gel extensions will take a good 3 hours or so. Scheduling appointments is easy over text as well. Definitely recommend! read more

I had heard good reviews and drove from the West side to try them out. Disappointed, the quickest manicure ever, and done so sloppy. Unfortunately, not worth the drive or money. I even took pictures, you can see the nail polish residue and unfinished work. It was VERY quick felt like I was in and out. Truly, didn't notice until I got home, I wish I could've given better review. read more

I've been coming to Maison for almost a year now on a friend's recommendation. I have to say they are my favorite salon in Pasadena, and that's saying something given how many there are! I always go to Anna for a structured gel manicure on natural nails. She does EXCELLENT work! Her attention to detail is above anything I've seen elsewhere. Her shape is always great and is always available to fix something ASAP. I literally can make one of her manicures last 4 weeks if I need to. All the other nail techs are just as great, and the service is excellent across the board. Booking is super easy, and when you get there they'll offer you some nice refreshments (tea, sparkling water, juice, or mimosas). I tell everyone to come here - their prices are worth every penny! read more

Yuki did such wonderful work on my nails, I'm SO happy, I can't stop staring at my nails! This is the most beautiful manicure I've ever had. Service requested was builder gel but I had to do a gel extension on one nail due to breaking a nail the day before my appointment. The flowers were free-hand painted with water color paints, absolutely incredible work. The appointment was about an hour and forty five minutes probably because of this detailed design, but I'm so happy with it I was not bothered, cuticle work is meticulous and you're definitely getting your moneys worth.
