I mentioned to the breakfast room attendant that Katie hadn't seen bacon at any of our previous hotels on this trip, so I was sure she'd be thrilled with it. I then mentioned I'd be back down to get my breakfast in a moment. She checked the bacon, saw it was out, and asked if I'd like some. When I got back down to the breakfast room about 5 minutes later, she told me fresh bacon would be out in a couple minutes. It actually was ready right about the same time as my waffle, so perfect timing! Many of the breakfast rooms also slam their doors shut immediately at the closing time, even if the area is still busy. There were a couple of people in the area at closing time, but she left the doors open a bit later than the scheduled close. That kind of help to vacationing families is very much appreciated!
