I chose this hotel because it was connected to Rupp Arena and we came to Lexington for a concert. The convenience of this location is well with it. They have self parking or valet parking options. We were able to walk to most everything we wanted to or take a very short Uber ride (to the James Pepper Distillery). We were only 2 blocks from the farmers market, next to triangle park and a ton a of great restaurants. The ease of getting in the arena from the hotel was fantastic. The bathrooms in the rooms were a bit cramped and not well laid out, but overall, the rooms were good.

Surprise need for feminine supplies - asked the front desk if they have a tampon and I was presented with this delightfully discreet bag that had a maxi pad & two tampons in it! It was the most respectful and classy exchange of period supplies I have experienced!

Pretty standard stay. We stayed here for two nights because we were in town for a wedding I was in. So I was really there to sleep and not much else. The rooms are a bit dated but they are clean and spacious enough. It's also within walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars. For those in town for a sporting event/concert, Rupp Arena is right across the street.

Pricey. But clean. Friendly staff. I was sick (not with Covid). And I was able to do what I needed to do in the bathroom in a clean environment. I DO have to say I nicknamed this hotel "the water hotel." The water faucet on the sink is too short. And you have to hit the back of the sink with your hands in order to use it. Why do sink designers design them that way? Rinsing off my washcloth meant I had to flood the counter behind the sink. I finally gave up, so went to try the bathtub faucet. It was STUCK, so I got a head full of cold water from the shower. I couldn't pull the lever to get it to switch to just bath filling. It was stuck on shower. After that, my own fault, my drinking water jug spigot broke and dumped water all over the bathroom floor. Water everywhere. After I got sick in the bathroom, I was able to clean it all up with the washcloth and soap bar, thank goodness. The lamps were nice. The bed was fine. I was sick so I didn't sleep long. My kids slept fine. The breakfast buffet's cost is epic. We didn't do that. Way too expensive. Ridiculous. Who comes up with the idea that anyone wants an enormous gourmet meal buffet for breakfast? They should copy what the Drury does - decent breakfast choices, cost included in the room. Great town. We didn't stop and see anything. But the town was adorable as we drove away in the morning.

We had such a wonderful weekend staying here. We were in town for the KY basketball game on New Year's Eve ans this was the perfect location. They offer ballet service for your car! We pulled up and unpacked the car and went inside and it was the perfect location. The hotel is attached to the Rupp arena where the game was played. They had a great restaurant where we had breakfast They had a buffet or order from the menu. Great service. After the game we came back to the hotel and watched the bowl games down at the bar and had appetizers and cocktails. We will stay here again.

Another great experience staying at the Hyatt Regency in Lexington. I love this place from the friendly staff, the cleanliness of the hotel to the comfortability of a nice room with great view of the town. A lot off historic places in the surrounding area that makes your walk a little more pleasant. You have Lexington Live across the street and the Rupp Arena right next to you, which both convenient. If you're in the mood to watch a movie, bowl, play games or just enjoy a drink is simply within a few feet of the hotel. If you're ready to watch a sport game or any live event at the Rupp Arena is connect by a walk tunnel that simply makes it so convenient. This hotel I highly recommend staying or at least give it try. I'm the type of guy who loves a good bar, and you won't be disappointed, plenty to choose from within the hotel.

Came to Lexington on business for two nights. I called the hotel for the shuttle just after landing and it pulled up outside baggage claim shortly after I came outside. The shuttle driver was very friendly. Check in was a breeze and I was quickly on the way to my room. The young lady at the front desk was super friendly and answered questions I had about the area. She was helpful and informative and it was obvious she enjoys what she does. My room was spacious and clean. The beds have lots of pillows and the temperature can be self regulated. The bathroom is small but totally adequate. I love the toiletries that are provided. The hotel is in a great location with lots of restaurants around. It's a vibrant downtown area so there is plenty to do. I would have no hesitation about staying here again in the future.

Stayed a night here over the weekend with Rev Rally. Everyone was super nice and excited to see the rally group here. Couldn't even explain the amount of people who stopped by just to check out the cars. Rooms were great and the hotel was peaceful. I even was overlooking the dining/bar area from my room and was pleased.

My husband and I were in town for a music festival and chose this hotel on its proximity to downtown as well as the free parking and reasonable rates. Our room was 810 which gave you a good view of DT area/Triangle Park. You also got a view of the construction zone which made me nervous about potential noise but, since we stayed Fri-Sunday, I only saw them working Monday morning and I didn't hear any construction sounds from inside my room so all is good on that front! Bed was comfy enough, just a little too soft for our tastes. No tub, just a modern type shower but very nice water pressure. With Covid, they aren't cleaning the rooms daily but just let them know what you need (I.e., towels, more k-cups, toiletries) and they are more than happy to oblige. The free parking is across the street in an unmanned lot. It could be a little sketchy because there's no security but we had no issues and parked our car there the entire visit. Close to lots of restaurants and bars and places of interest. I was happy with my choice of hotel and have no complaints. We never ate in the hotel so I can't say how their food or restaurant fares. Oh another thing is that for whatever reason, in the wee hours of the morning (like 2-3am), every day we would hear cars outside who sounded like they were street racing or probably just going fast. I thought that was interesting and it may keep someone whose more sensitive to sound from being able to sleep.

    Nice spacious room.

We chose the MoM for a few reasons: it was close to our ceremony site, provided parking for guests that we could pay for (for a reasonable cost), on-site catering by Dupree, ability to seat our amount of guests, but mainly for the AMAZING skyline view of Lexington as the venue is on the top floor of the Chase building. Mike and I worked with their coordinator Heather, who was wonderful and so helpful throughout the planning process. She is a busy lady, but would always respond back to emails/phone calls whenever she could. We met with her ~5x before the wedding to plan, brainstorm ideas, and review details. She gave a few options for the layout of the reception and how things would "flow" but I deferred to her judgment as I thought she would know what would be the optimal way. For selecting our menu, we had so many options. We decided to do a buffet-style dinner so people could have more choice over their meal. It was honestly so hard to decide on dinner choices because everything sounded delicious. We did a beef tenderloin and chicken meat option, roasted broccolini and smashed potatoes with the sweet potato kale salad- ALL delish. We are still having people tell us how good the food was! The event thanks to Heather and our day-of-coordinator went off without a hitch! I highly recommend the venue as an event space- particularly for wedding receptions!

The view from the top is exhilarating. I am not sure if there are any other places in Lexington which offers a sky view of the city. We had a open bar, and they had pretty decent drinks. The appetizers were good. I didn't have much as I was saving my hunger for the main course. But I heard from my colleagues that the appetizers were equally good as the main course. We were offered 4 main courses and asked to pick one beforehand. 1. Grilled Sirloin with Red Wine Horseradish and Chive Butter, crispy garlic marbled potatoes, seasonal roasted veggies, yeast rolls, mixed green salad 2. Garlic lavender and wine glazed chicken, wild mushroom gnocchi, shaved brussels sprouts, yeast rolls, mixed green salad 3. Bourbon and cider glazed salmon, herb rice pilaf, lemon roasted asparagus, yeast rolls, mixed green salad 4. Vegetarian: Grilled ratatouille napoleon, crispy garlic marbled potatoes, seasonal roasted veggies, yeast rolls, mixed green salad I picked Salmon for myself and Vegetarian for my +1. The salmon was amazing. The herb rice pilaf was yummy. Most of my colleagues from my table had the Grilled Sirloin. It looked good and they said good things about it. The main course was supplemented with some good desserts. This is one of the best places I have been recently and I am surprised how very few people in Lexington have heard about this place. This would be a best place for an OYE (Official Yelp Event) so that more Yelpers can yelp about this place and spread the word.

Many times food on buffets is older the later in the day it gets and I feel that unfortunately if you pay for a service in advance the (servers) that they do not work for what they know is already a guarantee their tip. Copper Roux was very helpful to allow me to pay after our meal. They assured me that the food would indeed be fresh due to a new serving time beginning at 1:30. I know that we have all had a buffet service that was more for to feed the multitude and for the ambiance than for the taste of food. Unfortunately this was the case for there Easter Brunch. The food appeared to be left from the first brunch serving. My husband and I did not have any food that was hot or fresh from the buffet. All of the hot food lids were open, there was a choice of 4 pieces of Fried chicken, the corn pudding pan had a square left and was sitting in a pool of water. I saw our server 2 times first when she came to take drink orders, I asked for orange juice and she did not answer so I ordered water, later I saw orange come around the corner for another quest and I said to my husband, hmm they do have OJ. Then at the end of my meal I received an orange juice. Bottom line is they are very communicative getting you set up for a reservation and I am hopeful that on a smaller scale there quality of food and service would be what one would expect for 2 people at $97. I would not recommend or attend a special event brunch at this restaurant based on food and service.

So a quick Yelp search (and a perusal of a DrinkKY brochure conveniently kept in the car) we figured out we could make a stop at Castle Hill Winery on the way. As we were walking up, the gentleman on a riding lawnmower hopped off to greet us and take us inside for our tasting. He is the owner and the winemaker and a regular Chatty Cathy! Super friendly and ready to talk about anything and everything. Including his wines! The wine tasting costs $1 per sample (you try 6 of the wines, it costs you $6). And the wines run $15 per bottle. Which is pretty reasonable, in my Kentucky-wine drinking experience. I tried several wines and enjoyed them. I ended up also buying a bottle of the strawberry wine to take home. The fruit wines are sweet without being syrupy. I really liked them. The venue is lovely. Nice outdoor space with a lot of green and seating options. It looks like a lovely place to have a wedding or private event. I would highly recommend a visit here. The only draw back is that I don't think they have a working credit card reader. They accept credit card payments, but will be processing them the old fashioned way...hand-writing out your receipt, taking your card information down, and processing it all....later. So, if you are planning ahead for a visit here, I would recommend bringing cash.
