    The owners are as cold and unwelcoming as the room I walked into. When calling three times to tell…read morethem I'd regrettably be checking in later than planned, I was assured it was fine and reservation was held... but upon arrival I was informed that they had marked the room as a no show and they refused to let my dogs and i check in unless I paid for another night... and insisted that it had to be in cash instead of my plentiful Delta rewards points as used for the initial night. Their excuse for breakfast is very minimal and subpar compared to the other hotels I've frequented in the area and they have obnoxious signs posted everywhere saying you must eat in the lobby and not take food back to the room?!? The indoor pool was closed for renovation and not disclosed when booking . The one onsight W/D was outdated and didn't even get my clothes clean or dried after running a regular size load through 2 full cycles. In good conscience, I definitely recommend to book with this hotel.

    Checked in about 8pm. Room was suitable for three or four guests with a standard queen bed and a…read morepull out sleeper sofa. The sleeper sofa was not a great experience. The mattress was thin and I could feel the springs when lying down. It wasn't terrible for me as an average sized person (125 pounds) but a heavier guest would likely find it extremely uncomfortable. The shower had pump bottles instead of individually sealed bottle. My mom refused to use them, as she found it unsanitary and unsafe; the bottles cab be opened by staff and previous guests and there is no guarantee of the contents. The one with body wash was almost empty so they are not filled between guests. The AC worked, as did the TV. There was a ceiling fan over the sleeper bed, which was nice and kept that area comfortable. There were two bath towels provided. The room had no clock. Breakfast was spartan. Nothing hot, just the basics, no issues. Overall, the room was fine for an overnight stay but at 150.00/night after tax, definitely expected more.

    *PLEASE SEE THE AMAZINGLY CLUELESS AT THE END OF MY REVIEW *…read more At check-in I was told the pet fee was $30 not $20. The web site and reservation center stated $20. When I questioned it, the clerk became offended and angry. She said the that the information seen and told to me was wrong. I questioned her about how that could be. She said 'FINE, I'LL PAY THE 430 FOR YOU!!' I reminded her that I was willing to pay the $20 as clearly stated. Then she called me 'HON'. Not the nice and charming 'Hon" of the South. It was the snarky 'HON' that says "I'M IN CHARGE HERE!' . . .and you are Not." Then she called an employee from the back to bring her wallet. She opened it like she was going to pay for it. I have no idea if she did or not. I apologized for any misunderstanding and suggested we start over. She said "IT'S DONE!" I thought to myself Y I K E S!....we are going to get a really nasty room . . . and I was right! * We had to keep opening the toilet lid to flush. I finally figured out how to fix it by sticking my hand in the tank and moving the chain to a different location on the arm and reclipping it. Yuck!! Is that my job as your paying guest? * Toilet paper holder is not secured to the wall * The shower head is not fully operational. We know how to use the lever to change the spray. It didn't work. The pipe from the wall looked like it was going to fall on our heads * The hand sanitizer in the lobby does not work These are not remodeling issues. They are maintenance. But first you must care. Fancy chairs in the lobby do not make up for a room with these problems. Pluses: Good mattress and bed linens and decent towels. Yep . . .that's the only plus I can give you.
