Came by the next morning and quickly diagnosed that the issue was that my Nest thermostat that was previously installed wasn't compatible with my existing wiring. They then went out and bought a compatible thermostat, came back and installed. They also mentioned that there was a small leak in the refrigerant line and could try to patch and fill if I wanted or I could always have them come back in the future. I asked them to just finish the job if they could, and they actually came back in a couple hours to finish the job. Now the AC unit is working great - the place feels like an ice box! Terrible experience from start to finish. I had two techs come to service my PTAC units. One did a…read moregreat job, the other didn't even bother cleaning the filters in my master bedroom. Immediately after the service, my 4-year-old PTAC started making noise and the thermostat stopped working properly. I called them back, and they sent a tech who insisted nothing was wrong--clearly to avoid holding the first tech accountable. I then hired another company, who found a leak and confirmed the unit was losing freon. When I confronted YuHan, she claimed it was "impossible" their first technician caused the problem and that their company "never makes mistakes." That's hard to believe when they couldn't even clean a filter. She asked me to send pictures and receipts, but it's pointless--she'll just deny responsibility no matter the evidence. She basically said I am lying. I attached a picture, this was AFTER the "cleaning". You can see the line thats leaking. The rep went as far as saying I am taking pictures of a third unit they never serviced, as if I am trying to scam them for a machine that wasn't working. Its ridiculous There are far better companies out there, and I can recommend a few. My advice: stay far away from these guys.
